You really can winter drive the BRZ & daily the BRZ in the winter, I have been so far and plan to continue to all winter. I will be making another video ACTUALLY in the BRZ soon showing how good it is in the snow!

I had a Miata years ago and with snows it was awesome in the winter. (Also in Canada so I know what winter driving is all about. ) As long as the snow was less than 4 inches on the ground you were fine. Once the bumper is pushing snow it's only a mater of time before you're stuck. But with the summer tires id get stuck trying to go down hill in a inch of snow. Rwd is great in the snow because your front wheels end up having way more grip for steering and braking. Back end only swings out if your on the gas. Like you said stay off the gas when changing lanes on the highway and on turns and you'll be fine.
This is correct winter tyres makes the world of difference . Any car will work in winter with the right tyres . Tks for the right info video

Hey man, huge fan of your chanel couldnt help notice the background while youre driving, cant believe you were driving in newmarket or of you used to live in the area, wish i could i have me you in person before you moved out to bc as I am from newmarket, myself, youre videos played a role in me getting a frs and also daily driven. Best decission ever, hopefully i can see you whenever youre back in town

I drive a 2016 brz and im from just outside toronto, if it snows (even though i have blizzax) i still find it unsafe, i end up fish tailing, good thing im a good driver, i put three 50 pound bags of salt and i still get problems, i even got stuck, good thing i have a 2017 raptor lol
+Max Mackenzie you just need to be calmer with the gas , i drove this thing in a few blizzards no problem🤷🏼♀️
I got blizzax on my 2018 BRZ and drove yesterday in the snow, got cut off by an elderly driver and the car almost got completely sideways when I swerved to avoid him but corrected itself, blizzax work great
