Well, looks like I'll have to spend some money now. Thanks for the very in-depth test. Specially on the black acrylic and anodized aluminium. Going to use this laser mainly to create electronics test rigs faceplates.
@@thoriqmustaqim1944 PVC is not recommended to cut with lasers as it releases dangerous chlorine gas which is very dangerous for health and will make the machine corrode.

Hi I just bought my “SCULPFUN S9 Laser Engraver, 90W Effect High Precision CNC Laser Engraving Cutting Machine” 🤓 Laser wave length of 445nm 5nm ..and I was on your website reading about the Google protection. I need googles with Optical density of 6 + do you recommend me some brands please? I was googling but I see you’re an expert on this. I’m in Montreal Canada. 2) I also need an extension to reach 95 x 41cms, are they generic or do I only have to buy the SCULPFUN S9 extension?…looking for cheaper options that can work..Where could I buy one? Thank you 😊
@@ilustradsn check out the video description of this video, I have links to everything you asked about the goggles and extension kit. I would recommend the original one ruclips.net/video/ntNtiiy6L3I/видео.html
@@JTMakesIt hi thank you for your information, I coudn't answer you because YT restricted me and wasn't able to comment. @@ilustradsn Great to hear that :) As cheap goggles upgrade I recommend these: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Ag04bO, They are good for the money. Much better than the included ones. Informative review, thank you. I am looking for the quietest circa 40w machine as I have neighbours to consider, I have an atom x30 which I operate from My appt balcony , they cannot here it. How does the noise level of this machine compare to other 40w machines you have tested?
@@JTMakesIt Thank you, I was going to go with the Atom X40 but it is a fair bit noisier than the x30 hence shopping around for the quitest option. I appreciate you taking the time to reply

Sculpfun SF-A9 -- Great engraving speed and cutting performance! ! !👍
Will you offer a bigger version of the SF-A9 (ie. 900x900mm) later on?
The finger stick!
I laughed out loud. Love it.

have you tested lasertree k1 pro 40w?
No I didn't have enough time for it, sorry
That’s awesome machine. I didn’t know that laser spot is different at 20 and 40w😳 thank you for review 👍
Thanks!
Can you give the lightburn file with the Settings for the Machine please
You will find link to test files in the video description
Great Video 👍🏼 I have a question, can you cut 1.5 mm sheet with this machine?
@@LuisSilva-yg4dn thanks! Do you mean 1.5mm.steel? No you can't effectively cut metal with any diode laser
@@JTMakesIt ok ok Tanks! 👍🏼
Hope they make a 900×900+mm version of this. Seems like a very impressive machine for the price.
Agree!
they are now pre selleing S70 wich is 850x800 and 70w, but i dont know if it will be better than atomstack A70 max.

It should be similar to the x30. They all need a powerful fan to cool down the module.

Yeah but 4*5W is only 20W 😅

There's a lot of work to be done on this machine before sold to public. It's sad sculpfun does this!!! The icube is not ready either!!!
What bothers you? I think its is one of the best Sculpfun machines. The best mechanics hands down.
