    Well, looks like I'll have to spend some money now. Thanks for the very in-depth test. Specially on the black acrylic and anodized aluminium. Going to use this laser mainly to create electronics test rigs faceplates.

    Is it possible to cut black PVC material with a thickness of 2mm?

    • @JTMakesIt
      @JTMakesIt  3 месяца назад

      @@thoriqmustaqim1944 PVC is not recommended to cut with lasers as it releases dangerous chlorine gas which is very dangerous for health and will make the machine corrode.

    Hi I just bought my “SCULPFUN S9 Laser Engraver, 90W Effect High Precision CNC Laser Engraving Cutting Machine” 🤓
    Laser wave length of 445nm 5nm
    ..and I was on your website reading about the Google protection.
    I need googles with Optical density of 6 + do you recommend me some brands please?
    I was googling but I see you’re an expert on this.
    I’m in Montreal Canada.
    2) I also need an extension to reach 95 x 41cms, are they generic or do I only have to buy the SCULPFUN S9 extension?…looking for cheaper options that can work..Where could I buy one?
    Thank you 😊

      @@JTMakesIt hi thank you for your information, I coudn't answer you because YT restricted me and wasn't able to comment.
      I just bought 2 long aluminum profiles 1mt long each and a timming belt , all for 45$ CAD..(the good thing iof being an industrial designer)
      I still need the googles, thank you again (I subscribed here and im following you on instagram)

      @@ilustradsn Great to hear that :) As cheap goggles upgrade I recommend these: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Ag04bO, They are good for the money. Much better than the included ones. If you have larger budget, then you could use some from bigger brands, but those cost several hundreds of dollars, but provide maximum safety

    Informative review, thank you.
    I am looking for the quietest circa 40w machine as I have neighbours to consider, I have an atom x30 which I operate from My appt balcony , they cannot here it.
    How does the noise level of this machine compare to other 40w machines you have tested?

    • @JTMakesIt
      @JTMakesIt  10 месяцев назад +1

      It should be similar to the x30. They all need a powerful fan to cool down the module.
