I’m not the best player as I play pickup and my IQ isn’t the best, but even then, I wouldn’t literally try to help and leave me man in the corner there late in the game like Pogoy did. Maybe they were worried if Kai doubled he leave his man open for an open lane, but they should’ve trusted Kai to be able to react and contest that fit or open lane. Even then it just not necessary to say and help like that. Even if that guy made a three but Pogoy didn’t over commit it would’ve been been better than what he did. It’s just plain bad execution and just bad decision you shouldn’t do in that stage of a game.
And you just know Tab Baldwin would've ironed out defensive issues like that. PH have the coach they need, but allow politicking and BS to shut him out.
