Hell Cliff, I already have the Morimoto Rear light Units installed and want to complete my "C6 Z06 GT2 wide body" with these Morimoto Head Light Units. Thanks You for Your tutorial. Kind Regards from the Netherlands
Well done great job. 👍💯
They look amazing
Yes sir!! I love them!
Greetings,
As always another brilliant detailed video 🇺🇸🎉🍾🇺🇸
Is that a McLaren??!!
Keep producing more videos.
(Are you changing the tail lights as well?)
I did change the tail lights to the morimoto Gen II XB LED
Great video . The aftermarket lights look fantastic, it's just a shame that Chevrolet appear to have built the whole car around the lights!
Swapping a vehicles headlight assembly should be a 10 minute job , after all they are prone to discolouring or getting smashed by stones etc.
Amen brotha preach!
How did you adjust them horizontal ? I only see a vertical adjustment screw
There’s a screw. It’s in there, but difficult to get to.
Hmmm. Their website said these lights are DOT compliant. Doesn’t say DOT Certified. Wonder if that makes a difference?
Not sure on that one.
So i just bought these and installing them. How do yours do the white switchback sequence when unlocking? Mine do it when i start the car
The functionality is determined by the use/non-use of the DRL harness.
I’m having the same problem! When I unlock the car is not doing the white lighting sequence just when I start my car as well! Did you find out what it was ?
And I do have my DRL harness plug in
No one noticed his brake rotors are oriented in the wrong direction!
Oh boy…
There’s no reason to remove the bumper for this job. Also there’s no way in hell I would pay that much for lights that require me to use factory seals because the ones that come with it aren’t thick enough.
I can’t see how you’d do it without removing the bumper and loosening the fenders. Not without scratching parts up anyways.
Not worth the risk, in my opinion.
Over kill
Stock headlights look better.
You may think so, but I like these better. Makes the car look much more modern, in my opinion.
@@CliffsHowTo Why because of the LED strips? Car is a C6 doesn't look right when people are putting C7/C8 headlights on them. C6 have the best looking headlights out of all Vettes IMO especially in carbon.
@@Kaiser187 L opinion they are dog shit. Might as well tape Christmas lights to the front u can't see anything
They may look better in your opinion, but they're trash at night time, & they're hard to see compared to the new headlights... My life and being able to see is alot better than trash can't see headlights at night time.
@@dklippylive9930 I’m not sure what you mean by “you can’t see at night”, but these headlights are bright as hell! Much much brighter than the factory headlights!
As cool as it turned out, no way in hell I'd tear apart my car. I'd have it done by a professional.
I trust myself to do it right more than anyone else… Not only that, but when I pulled the bumper, I found a busted radiator support, and leaky radiator. So I’m glad I did it!
