This journalist is everywhere. I saw her reporting from Turkey after the earthquake, she was there when a man was pulled from the rubble 3-4 days after the quake. She interviewed the Taliban in Afghanistan. Im sure she has been to Ukraine on several occasions risky her life amid the shelling. She is a very brave woman. Idk how she is able to talk to these ppl in their despair. It has to be truly difficult emotionally reporting from such places.

I lived through an occupation for two years and I can relate to this documentary. I wish I was old enough to fight back but I was 13 years old and the terror and the feeling that your own neighbours might rat you out is unbearable. We used to keep our shoes nice next to the bed so that in case we had to run, it was the only thing that we could not leave behind. Freedom is the most precious thing in the world and most people will not understand that unless it is snatched that away from you. It is nightmare of its own to be under occupation. I wouldn’t wish that for any human being even for my worst enemy.

That dude showing you guys around the prison he was tortured in, just nonchalantly talking about it, is tough as nails. He openly resisted, took his licks, and now he gets to tell the true story of the abuses the Russians perpetrated against them, and you can see how therapeutic it is for him being able to share it with the world in his expression and mannerisms. Slavic and Baltic peoples have endured too much of this abuse for too long, it's about time they're given a chance to stand up for themselves the way Ukraine is now. I hope sincerely that they're successful in their resistance, and that those still under Russian occupation, are able to make it as painful for those occupiers as they can with the resources available to them. The Ukranian army and its troops are doing a very good job right now by winning their land back, in small steps. Despite there's a long way to go in this war, it now looks more and more clearer to us that the goal can be achieved. Slava Ukraini! 🙏

Exactly. They've been able to deoccupy 50% of what russians captured before. Considering the scale of this war and how russia is a way bigger and stronger country - this is remarkable. We need to help Ukrainian army in order for them to win. In the long run our military aid will be a sound investment into the safety of this world.

@@lastnamefirstname8678 No Russia started this war. Let's play a game. You reply no they didn't. Then I say yes they did. You then reply no Russia didn't. And I reply yes Russia did, they invaded Ukraine. You then either go silent or give me some BS about how NATO used mind control to tell Putin to invade. Or something like that.

She was afraid for her own life but talked casually with someone who was tortured like it's nothing but to just chat... Shows how little compassion or understanding that they have... please lady these people are living or reliving these things being there or even talking about it show some sign that you have a soul other then feeling less words i have the utmost respect for journalists that show actual compassion.
