What an absolutely beautiful notebook! I’m a sucker for anything stars/moon/planets 😊 Thank you so much for doing the pen test. I used the OG Leuchtturm for years when I was working (after many years of school and work in the Franklin Planner) and it really worked for me. It wasn’t “pretty” but it was definitely functional and I loved the freedom of it. The regular Leuchtturm 1917 with the 80 gsm paper did annoy me with the shadowing (but it wasn’t that bad) and I generally always used my Lamy Safari with a F nib and Lamy cartridge ink on it…never had any problems with smearing/bleeding (that weren’t my own fault…I didn’t take the best care of my Lamy, and it eventually died, may it RIP 🪦) I had a very busy schedule with a lot of notes, to dos, etc, and the books would last a good 6-8 months for me. (I also had a digital calendar with work, and used this in conjunction with that.) I’m glad they’ve upped the gsm and they have such a wide variety of notebooks available now (both with and without the BuJo system “guide”.) They’re a nice notebook with a less expensive price point (although they can start getting to $40 depending on if it’s a “system.” But, you can get the majority of them for under $30, many under $20 for an A5. I do just absolutely love that cover!!! (I also love that they gave so many date stickers…I wish they would give more…writing all those little calendar numbers out can get tedious…thankfully sticker paper exists!!!)
I agree with you when it comes to the date stickers. I would like for there to be about double the amount. Or they could even sell them on their website for people to be able to purchase them for a small fee. I have an A5 lined Leuchtturm notebook that I use for work notes and planning, it has lasted me for over 6 months already. I think they are worth their price, but I have found some cheaper options on Amazon...I have a video on my channel if you want to check it out. But overall, I do prefer their style to the cheaper notebooks.
