The performance of the first guy, Takumi Isogai, was really impressive, stunning and incredible. I have never seen such styles being demonstrated elsewhere before for tens of years. He performed just like dancing on the bicycle, so smooth and so quick, even with his both hands off for such a long time in a self-spinning fashion at a high speed. Great applause to the guy uploading this video to blow my mind and broaden my horizon. I could not stop watching his performance in this video several times.
And just like that I quit rollerblading after blading for over 20 years im 34 now and I always dabbled with flatland bmx and after seeing the first rider I realized that flatland bmx is by far the coolest thing a human can do! I just ordered new flatland parts for my Standard Shaman, thanks too all the flatland riders keeping this going and thanks too the first rider for not just being good at it but taking it too Mars and back. By the looks of it you won 1st by how many you inspired with that run! God Bless!
Takumi Isogai is the champ for me and level 99.9% best Rider i ever seen in my all life in Flat...!!!! And i do pro flatland in Greece for 5 years at 1993' to 98'...
I rode BMX for years. A bit older now and ride a MTB but these guys have blown me away. I couldn’t imagine you could manipulate a bike like these guys do. Outstanding competition. Mind blown.
This is like watching Ballet, some of these guys are so graceful and make it look easy. Also they make me feel like I cant actually ride a bike, like all I do is push it, lol.
These guys invented the word talent. Congratulations to each and every one of y'all dudes. Just man you can conquer the world 🌎🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍 I give each and every one of y'all 10 worlds because y'all are definitely going places. Congratulations!
This man knows his stuff proving that practice definitely makes perfect. The guy could eat a pizza while he's doing that Man, we want to see you on the motocross circuit go for it. What a great performance!
Man I really remember this back in the late 80's . I was doing this during the AFA ( American Freestyle Association) I miss flatland freestyle. OMG I remember when I did my first boomerang at 4 years old. Thanks for sharing this with the whole world man thanks
Hassan P How this not unique technique? I’d love to see this other guys do it oh yea they cannot. They were no where near as smooth, if i wanted to see bicycle tricks I’d watch bmx thanks.
@@Nunya-_- just search for other Dominik videos, you will see he can also do this flashi spins. I wonder why he did choose to do this slow super technical tricks instead. And won ... Wow, how can that be....
Same here. What they are doing today obliterates what we were doing back then! I do have to admit though that when we did it in our time it was unheard of. It REALLY amazed people! Today too ofcourse but there was something different doing it back in the eighties.
o primeiro é o Takumi Isogai, e o dos 9 minutos é o melhor de todos os tempos Matthias Dandois. ele já ganhou tudo que tinha pra ganhar, agora só vai para campeonatos para dar moral
have to say, its super cool to see such a huge crowd for a flat land show. usually doesn't get this kind of love, but it 1000000% deserves it. I rode flat land as a kid.. then after like 2 years I gave up and just rode dirt lol, it was so insanely difficult. And, like others have said, the first guy was insane, sooooo smooth, everything looked effortless, but that second rider was also insane, he did wild variations and had rad style. Everyone was super talented though, and tons of street bikes which are harder to manipulate.
Forget the lie they told us that *practice makes perfect* Even if i continue to ride bicycle still I pass to the other world, I know I won't still be able to know how to ride bicycle to this level. Wow so amazing 😻😻
Soy el que escribe en español latinoamericano y digo que el primero estuvo en modo bestia... Estuvo Bacanazo... Un crack... Que video tan chevere y pulenta!!
Absolute legends covering the flat event! I’m so stoked, look at that crowd! Listen to them, they fucking love it! So good putting it up on an elevated platform, too. Great job x games, great job Our Bmx.
Dennis does Kevin's tricks. After Kevin came on scene everyone was playing keep up. Chase has more influence on these guys style. Except fast tricks I don't see Dennis in there.
yes indeed when he started with rolling tricks minds were blown back then! I was eventually lucky to master the tailwhip without touching ground lol. Watching these guys now OMFG
The 2nd place is the true winner in humble opinion, he had a consistent flow, and variety of moves where there's basically just two parts of his body attached to the bike while spinning, as well as no hands tricks.
I idolized flatground riders growing up I though they did some of the most coolest tricks it was like they were ball room dancing and the way it flowed and these crazy flips rolls spins was memorizing as a kid!!! 💯👊🏽💪🏾
Takumi made everyone else look like amateurs! Dude is super fast mad props! If Takumi did not win your judges are super stupid! He chained all his moves and transitions were smooth as butter and fast♥
Takumi made everyone else look like amateurs! Dude is super fast mad props! If Takumi did not win your judges are super stupid! He chained all his moves and transitions were smooth as butter and fast
He did the same thing over and over. All he had was speed and spun like a top. Flatland is more than speed. Technical difficulty has a lot to do with it as well. Saw a lot of guys back in the day (80’s) lose a competition to more technical riders that slowed down their routine. It’s harder to keep balance when you slow it down.
This is so insane. Most have no idea the dedication this takes man. I was pretty good in the 2000s but it's a different level now.. Back then it was Day Smith and sht I can't even remember haha

Takumi isogai....

I can’t stop smiling watching these guys. 🦾
Takumi Isogai is an artist, that was some Picasso level type of freestyle right there 👌... Salute 🙌!
They all good but the 1st guy is the best. He does it very smoothly and has beautiful rhythm and style.

Takumi isogai
Whoh Whoh I have never knew such things existed real BMX fan and rider but don't if I can make it to such levels keep it up pro bmxers
First run was the best in my eyes. Right clean and flowed right through the whole ride.
Plus the biggie music made it that much better
hes too fast, nice for looking at, but judges want to see hard and unique technique, not just crazy momentum spinning
