I love your snare sound. Sounds great
Cheers!
Great video and useful product. I use synths, but effective treatments for bass matter in that realm also. 👍
Thanks. I like this one.
Great Video!
Would have been nice to hear what your bass sounded like around 2:30 without double tap engaged
Maybe I'm in the wrong here, but why not use an EQ/Dynamic EQ to control the low end?
Regular EQ can’t work in the time domain, and a dynamic EQ requires a lot of finesse and fine tuning to get things right. It’s doable but you need a keen ear and the technical knowledge- or you could just turn the knob up here and be done
Dynamic EQ wil do the trick I reckon.
Sure, but how do you set it? What’s the right answer? It can be done but a plug-in like this has it all set up ready to go. Both work, different tasks for different cases though I think
@@adamsteelproducer I think the key selling point is that you’re buying convenience. Can you do it with dynamic EQ? Absolutely, but probably with more effort/tweaking which takes time. But you can buy this plug in and get it done quickly and move on to something else. Time is money and this is an investment in saving time
Bingo. When I’m mixing, I’m not paid to sit and get nerdy with controls (I love that but only when I’ve got time to play)- I’m paid to get results, regardless of how long it takes. Getting to the end quicker means I can do more with my day, and also not hit fatigue before I’m at a point where I submit the mix
