I think this is the best looking rusted model you have done yet! The dark and light rust really add a realistic look to the model and the white door looks great. Thanks for sharing this neat tutorial.
Very cool, i need to get me one of these. I dont know if you know, but the chrome comes off the plastic parts with household bleach, paint sticks to the plastic better than the chrome.
That's the way I would want my gasser if I had one, rat rod style. Flash and chrome don't get you home, at the end of the day it's all about power and speed
Very talented on the paint effects... only thing your missing on it is barbed wire, steel spikes and armor plating and it would be straight out of " road warrior"
Wish if I could pay to repair my Hotwheels ProStock Firebird and Screamin Hauler from this awesome guy..from danny touch my both Hotwheels will be back to their glory..love your video mate.
Love the ratrod. One question- could you paint the seats in grey primer, then use the latex stuff on the seats in little bits and paint over it, removing or peeling up the bits to make the seat's upholstery look all beat up?
The actual reason for the high front stance was to transfer as much or the weight of the car to the rear wheels for greater traction. By angling the car you change the center of gravity of the car and shift it to the back. The same as a car that is raked, has a high rear stance, shift weight to the front of the car. There are other factors that come into consideration, but this is just gist of it. Also, and this is just a suggestion and not a critique, instead of using the dry silver powder for highlights, use a graphite stick (or soft pencil lead like HB(#2) or other numbered B pencil) and use that to highlight. You have more control and if you mess up you can clean it all away with enamel thinner. Yes, enamel thinner cleans away graphite. It also give a very 'metal' appearance. Again, just a suggestion. But, as always, a great custom. Thank you.
Hey Danny, I've been watching a You Tube channel called Night Shift. He does excellent distressed steel and rust looking stuff. I know you would enjoy it. 👍
There are lots and lots of people buying the Jerry Rigged 64 Nova Gasser and the 55 Chevy Bel Air Holley Gasser so they can customize them. I have never tried to customize a car, but I will in the future.....so I bought a bunch of each off of eBay in large lots...get em lots cheap that way. I have around 100 of the Jerry Rigged, and over 150 of the Holley 55 Chevy.
I use a fast setting one for stuff like the rivets. I'm using Kneadit here. I also have Milliput which is much slower setting if I needed to model something.
Damn son I love your brush work I ain't seen anybody with that steady a hand in years! Great Resto Danny. If you get a chance check out my channel are maybe even a shout out would be great thanks.
Very nice rust job! I stripped the chrome off the interior of mine.

Wow. Turned out great!!
One of the best patina/rat rod builds on RUclips. If you could find just the right wheels that fit the build it would be beyond perfect.
Catching up on some of your older builds. This one is awesome.
WoW! It is some of your best work to date! Danny can do anything with the right effects and make a car 1000 times more impressive!😍👍🏻👍🏻
That gasser looks awesome, supergood job with the rust effects,i megalike this !!

Love gassers and rustorations! Excellent work!
I'm here from baremetalhw's channel, and wanted to say, this style of "de-restoration" is simply fantastic, and a bit hilarious xD *Subbed!*
We had a chevyII wagon when I was a kid. Great choice!
Awesome job, your the King of rust👍🤘
One of my favorite Hot Wheels this year
Very cool, i need to get me one of these. I dont know if you know, but the chrome comes off the plastic parts with household bleach, paint sticks to the plastic better than the chrome.

Haha..one of my buddies drove a wagon that looked just like that...well..except the stance and engine. Mainly the rust.

Very talented on the paint effects... only thing your missing on it is barbed wire, steel spikes and armor plating and it would be straight out of " road warrior"

Pretty cool! On the next one it would be cool to rough out the one headlight or drill tiny holes in the door or fender. Great work.
Very cool 👍🏻 I’m actually working on the same casting right now 🔥🤘🏻
WOW very nice that is amazing thanks for a great video
Nice custom as always my friend 👌
Peace ✌️
Thanks for the rust imitation guide😊
Nice one Danny looks great.
I love it as always. Funny how it's either fix the ugly car and make it beautiful or make the beautiful car look ugly.
That's freakin amazing!
Love the ratrod. One question- could you paint the seats in grey primer, then use the latex stuff on the seats in little bits and paint over it, removing or peeling up the bits to make the seat's upholstery look all beat up?
Good idea 👍
Haha seen a few of these around at the drag racing. Great job.

Love the idea of doing down a car
Wheels look to new .
🔥🔥🔥
I saw once a Volkswagen Beetle exactly like that all roasted but it was just painted on it to look rusted
I got to get one of those
Hi what you using for fixing the body???
Tamiya flat clear rattle can Como 👍
I made that Hotwheels rat rod to a derby car
I think that although I like what you do with the bases, it does not really go with the rest of the car, I should have at least one hole in the floor?
I hate gassers. They look stupid, BUT *Your* work is excellent. Good job, Danny
LOL huh?
@@rockettcustoms6266 What's got You confused?
I do the same thing as you but I just did a monster truck mini cooper
What kind of epoxy putty do you use?
I use a fast setting one for stuff like the rivets. I'm using Kneadit here. I also have Milliput which is much slower setting if I needed to model something.
