Linkin Park came out at a time when rock/rap and Nu Metal were developing genres, and I often think if they had come out a few years before or after they did, they would have been so much bigger than they were. They were hugely popular, but I feel like they were under-appreciated.
Linkin Park were one of the biggest rock bands of the 2000’s. Even in 2017 before Chester passed they were huge. They also have the best selling rock record in Hybrid Theory with over 30 Million copies sold
What I've Done really stands out to me as having excellent use of each instrument. Very distinctive piano intro and outro, the build created by the guitar, and then the buildup of the drums to change it up, exactly creating this feeling that "something changed", which supports the lyrics so well. And the lyrics are absolutely inspiring, regardless of whether one interprets the forgiveness as religious or not. But I will say, I enjoy the fact that the person is not asking for forgiveness, from another person or a god, but granting themselves forgiveness. External forgiveness can be something to strive for, but it's important to consider the power of internal forgiveness. Beating yourself up over mistakes you've made is an easy pattern to fall into and stay inside, but does it really make anything better? Learn, change your ways, and then move forward with forgiveness for yourself. Don't drag that weight to punish yourself.

Chester did have a one of a kind voice and could sing in every range and deliver such emotion through his voice like nothing I’ve ever experienced from any other singer. It sounds cheesy, but my life was literally saved in what were about to be my final moments by one of their songs and the lyrics I heard. There’s nothing more powerful at times than music and song and these guys have been one of my biggest anchors to life for a long time, it broke me when we lost Chester and it still does. But we still have the music and that still saves people everyday.

RIP Chester :/ man never got enough credit for that voice.
Bro you’re absolutely right this man was born to perform to share that beautiful amazing voice of his that is missed every day. You have to dive into Lincoln Park and their entire catalog they will blow you away this band is and was unbelievably amazing. Rest in peace Chester in the end it really did matter
I find it fascinating to watch a reactor who is never ever heard of Linkin Park when's the biggest band for the past 20 years never heard of them
Lol I love how dramatic your thumbnail facial expressions are 😂
Linkin Park : Breaking the Habit ,bleedet out, given up
First time hearing Linkin Park? I mean seriously, do ppl actually belive that these guys have never heard Linkin Park before and are reacting like it? Blows my mind...
One more light would be a beautiful one to react to, also numb and in the end obviously.
R.I.P Chester his co-singer Still makes hip-hop/rock songs Mike Shinoda he's my fav.
Literally any song by them is frickin 🔥
I suggest By Myself, Bleed it Out and Waiting for the End for some diversity
Linkin Park are generally considered genre-defining. Not many people were doing it before them and everyone was trying to do it after.
I’m not a rock type of guy neither am I am linkin park fan but this song has a dear place in my heart.I first listened to it when I watched Transformers around 2013 as a kid I never understood the lyrics but now it hits different.
I, specifically, would like to see more of this specific type of content
It's sad to think Chester is not with us anymore RIP you had a huge impact on a generation of people
If you're looking to see Chester in his element, "Numb" and "Breaking the Habit" are two must watch/listen videos/songs.
Other great songs are "Somewhere I Belong" and "In the End" which feature the D.J.'s, Mike Shinoda's, lyrical talent.
I would also suggest reacting to "Heavy". It was one of the last songs Chester recorded before ending his own life.
R.I.P. Chester. Gone but never forgotten.
(Edit: grammar)
LP really does have some good songs, used to listed to their first album a lot while playing video games, lol. A really good song from a later album is "Burn it Down". "Castle of Glass" is good to, very emotional music video.
You have to do in the end next!! My all time favorite rock song. Listened to it since I was a kid. Keep up the hard work man. One of my favorite reaction channels
You have to listen to all of LP. The whole discography is a massive cry for help. Shame it wasn't realised till after his death.
