I see in the shipping section of my Shopify store that there is a Printful app shipping profile as a separate drop-down from the general shipping section at the top of the section. How do I simply enable the Printful app, since it already has all of the profile information in that section, versus manually inputting each one in the top section?
Thanks for the video! I would like to ask how does printful fulfilment work? Do you have to manually make an order on printful when a customer places an order on your store? Thanks!
Hi Elle, I like your video, it explains shipping rates perfectly but what if hypothetically you have a customer order 23 products? Do you Charge the initial shipping cost + 22 additional items? Baffles me a little because how can we account for how many products people are going to buy from us when we have no idea how many that will be. Thanks, Jack
I hate to ask this, but could you do an updated version of this video? The layout via Shopify is much different and several of the shipping options you show, are not options as of 2021.
OMG thank you for this video. i was so confused for a while on how to convert Printfuls shipping rates into my store, because Shopify stores don't count the additional product prices directly, and this video really cleared things up on how to do it. Thank you!
Inaccurate information: "you need to have the advanced plan or higher to have carrier calculated live shipping rates". You can also get them if you are on the basic plan with the annual subscription.
Hi! I am so confused by my Shopify shipping settings and what I should do. . I sell items that I make and will ship myself, I also sell items from printful, gooten and pixels apps that are dropshipped. And they are all on my Shopify store together. I am trying to find a video to help me understand how this all works in simplified terms. My first intention was to raise my prices and offer free shipping on everything, thinking that it would make it easier to configure my shipping settings on Shopify.. I was wrong; still confused. Can you direct me to a video, perhaps “Shopify shipping for dummies”? I think if I could hear it explained what actually happens, it would help me make sense. I think I might be making this too complicated. Thanks for your help
Hi, I'm confused. I had a shopify store with my own items in there with weight based rates, and the shipping worked fine. Now I added the printful integration, and it is showing the calculated item rates from printful for my printful items, but my regular (in house items) cant ship and the cart gives an "cant ship to your address" message. if i have just printful items in the cart it does not give this error. Adding printful integration via their site / my dashboard in printful was the only thing i did. I have the basic shopify plan, so i dont even understand how im seeing the calculated rates from shopify. my developer sadly isnt even 100% sure how to fix this, and I'll be integrating gooten, printify also so this is really confusing, do you have any idea what to do thanks.
If I am using Printful through Shopify how can I set up free shipping for minimum order (dollar amount)? Because low priced items have very high per-item shipping cost.
are you available for a phone consult (of course i would pay you)? I am so confused about setting this up and now I have a store that wont ship anything under $50 because I set up my free shipping threshold and cant figure out how to get the non-free shipping settings set up correctly.
HI ELLE! If I offer free shipping on my Shopify account with purchase over $50 in the US, why are the PRINTFUL products still charging a flat rate shipping fee? Is this something I need to fix through Shopify or the Printful app?AND HOW?
okay, I'm having one small issue. I want to set up free shipping and i can not do it. i keep changing the printful rate on my shopify but when i go to check out it still says $6.99. =Do you know how to remove that ?
Does one have to do this manually? Their support told me I didn't have to do anything, that their shipping costs were automatically added at checkout when a customer makes a purchase on my shop. Is this information incorrect?
How can you do a single flat rate shipping cost if someone orders a product from your own Shopify site in the same order? Right now it's stacking the two prices.
In the first few minutes of the video you indicate that Live shipping rates comes with Advanced plan or higher, I am wondering what is higher? I thought advanced was the highest. I know via, email and phone call I can get that service for $20, just seems like it is overlooked as an option for at least the mid-level plan. Secondly, I have read mixed reviews on the reliability of the live shipping calculated rates service, What can you or anyone share on that subject?
Hi Adam! The highest plan that Shopify offers is their Plus plan but due to it's higher price tag it isn't featured on their main pricing page. I've had great results with live shipping rates and I think the key with making it work well is making sure your product weights are all in and accurate as well as weighing/measuring the shipping box as well so you can make sure it is all accounted for.
Hi. I have a question. And I'm very confused. Hope you can help me out to understand this situation. OK. So. Let's say I sell t-shirt on my web for 13.71eu. If costomer buy it he or she charged 13.71 now on the same time printful will charge me 15.92eu. For unknown reason I don't know. Cos this costomer was me I was charged ( 13.71+15.92) = 29.63eu I payd. So it made me wery confused why I pay more then a costumer and why we both was charged. For 1 product. I did test it and set diferent price on another product. Where costumer payd 19.71, and again for some reason I was charged 22.81 = and this time They charge me more. I guess there is some %. So hope I explained my point. Why if I set price with printful subtotal 16eu, shipping is 3.71eu, tax is 2.99, total is 19.71 and that's what what costumer pay 19.71. That's what shopify charged in Web. But whay printful charge my account for that orded 22.81? Now its look like price of this product is 22.81 + 19.71 =41.98 😅 just can't understand what kind off bizness if I pay for all costumer 😂 hope you can help me to understand what I'm missing. Thanks for your support
Are you sure you’re increasing price to make profit? Say printful is charging 10$ for a t-shirt you add your desired profit plus the cost of shipping. So 10$ is the cost of the printful shirt, plus 15$ for profit and shipping so customer pays 25$
I am new to all this. I was in printful designing a shirt but it it didn't give me an option to what colors I wanted. It default and said 16 colors available but my writing was lack and I didn't want the darker shirts. Is there a fix to this?
Do you have any additional questions about the Printful + Shopify connection? Comment below and we would love to help!

@@AmazonPriestess did you get an answer to this?
@@liammclaren5259 I did, thank you! I spoke with a Shopify expert.

If you have one printful item and another non printful item will that be two shipping costs combined into one?

Hello, a question on something I don't understand. Why should I have shopify store when I already have printful store? Why should both be integrated?

so i edited all the printful shipping flat rates for my shopify, and 10 minutes later they had all reset and the new zones i added were also gone
Mattias W i got the same problem
So the question is how we set up shipping for printful on shopify and the answer starts at 4:20

Hello, How did you add the 'Shipping From' @6:27?
Aside from that, GREAT VIDEO, it definitely helped with setting up additional shipping cost for items.
