I just launched my printify and shopify stores and have several products listed, now trying to finalize my shopify store site, and then start posting on social media to start generating sales. I have a canva subscription and noticed that they all have a bunch of mockup images as well! Good to know if anyone already has canva (paid) and wants to use their services. Here's a question that's probably not easy to answer but I think everyone needs to do so before starting up a business like this. What have you found limits you from selling around the world vs your own country? like do you have a tax pro telling you where you can/can't sell? do you recommend any service for that? most accountants don't do multinational work like this.

They said that the source has never been wrong which could just be someone blowing smoke to push people to start Shopify now using his affiliate links and his upcoming tutorial... which they wont need if they hear about this one 😊. What are your thoughts on getting started with only a month to get going before paying their monthly fee? There's a lot to do to get people to visit a new store. Would you please put out a video showing how they can use social media etc. to bring traffic to a newly created Shopify store. $3 for 90 days makes starting a store easy but unless we can drive traffic to it to bring sales that $29/mth from the 4th month on will be money poorly spent.
My traffic videos have historically not been popular view wise, but I will see if I can come up with an interesting idea! In terms of them changing the price... They could be. I haven't yet had a meeting with my Shopify rep this year but they might very well confirm it. They have had this deal of $1 for 3 months for a long time now, I am sure it has been a loss leader for them, so they might be wanting to stop it. Starting now to take advantage of it, is definitely not the worst idea, even if you aren't ready to send it live quite yet!

My question is - you live in NZ and did US currency, with doing that can you then pick POD suppliers that are USA based as well since you're targeting a US market? I'm in Canada and the amount of CDN POD supplies is so abysmal that I want to have my store in US prices and shipping.

This is a bit old. They have changed things around. Some of it is improvements, like the whole automated privacy policy. Other things can be a bit confusing.

You mentioned 2 suppliers that you would use is there a video with other suppliers you recommend, can you set it to a supplier in a specific country example if the buyer is in Aussie it ships from Aussie, if they are in the US it ships from 😊. Hi Sara! :) Long time follower, here. Is the usual cost for shopify 30 dollars per month, or is it 10 dollars per month billed every three months, making it 30 dollars? Also, you mentioned that near the end about selling to a European market requires different legal notice pertaining to data collection than selling to a US market. Does this mean that one has to choose one or the other to sell to (EU or US), or is it possible to sell to both? How does that work with the data collection notice? Thanks for all the information! Hi Chris! 1) It is currently $39/month I believe, but when you first join they currently have a promo where for 3 months, you'll just get charged $1 per month. After those 3 months, it'll then switch to $39/month 2) No you can sell to both! It's just you'll want to switch on that privacy setting if you plan to sell to Europe, whereas you don't need to switch it on and have that cookie banner pop-up if you just sell to the USA, the banner warning you about collecting cookies that you see around the internet on most pages is there because of the EU legal requirements.

Hi Sarah, I have opened an Etsy and are opening a shopify store with the same products. Just wondering what you think about the Printify Choice option now listed on their website. Is it just another way for them to use product routing. I am not sure about not having any idea about which printer will actually be creating the t-shirt but the prices are certainly better. I also like the idea they might use a printer closer to the customer. I just worry about the quality, I did a sample order with printify and the shirt was nice but will they always be. If you have an existing LLC you should be able to add a DBA under it depending on the laws in your state. It typically requires paying to register the trade name. Bob, LLC DBA Bob's Landscaping Bob's T-shirts Bob's Roofing And so on.

The truth is, I'm personally over using WooCommerce. Shopify has one of the best, if not THE best, tech team & development team in the world. I'm over trying to save money with hosting fees & would rather guarantee that my store stays online, and that all of my plugins work together, and guarantee that I have the best development team keeping my store secure from hackers & scammers, rather than try and save some hosting money and use an open-source platform! And I can't in good conscious recommend it to others because if your store takes off, you'll want to migrate for these exact reasons, and migrating will be such a huge hassle/nightmare. So I can't in good conscious make tutorial videos on it, when I just don't recommend it 🙏

Thank you, I'm not quite sure what you mean, I'm sorry! You do not select print colors, Printify will print your designs in the color that you upload them, you don't need to select the colors for the ink.
As what u taught, using printify app shipping profile without creating my own shipping profile in shopify. Assuming i have 5 different products using either similar or different print providers with their respective shipping rates. On customer's checkout, assuming buying 3 different products, will customer b paying different shipping rates as based on the respective print providers ?? This is a bit old. They have changed things around. Some of it is improvements, like the whole automated privacy policy. Other things can be a bit confusing.

You mentioned 2 suppliers that you would use is there a video with other suppliers you recommend, can you set it to a supplier in a specific country example if the buyer is in Aussie it ships from Aussie, if they are in the US it ships from 😊. I may have missed it but do you select which countries you sell to, just thinking of the extra declarations you mentioned for the EU.

Long time follower, here. Is the usual cost for shopify 30 dollars per month, or is it 10 dollars per month billed every three months, making it 30 dollars?
Also, you mentioned that near the end about selling to a European market requires different legal notice pertaining to data collection than selling to a US market. Does this mean that one has to choose one or the other to sell to (EU or US), or is it possible to sell to both? How does that work with the data collection notice?

1) It is currently $39/month I believe, but when you first join they currently have a promo where for 3 months, you'll just get charged $1 per month. After those 3 months, it'll then switch to $39/month
2) No you can sell to both! It's just you'll want to switch on that privacy setting if you plan to sell to Europe, whereas you don't need to switch it on and have that cookie banner pop-up if you just sell to the USA, the banner warning you about collecting cookies that you see around the internet on most pages is there because of the EU legal requirements.

Hi Sarah, I have opened an Etsy and are opening a shopify store with the same products. Just wondering what you think about the Printify Choice option now listed on their website. Is it just another way for them to use product routing. I am not sure about not having any idea about which printer will actually be creating the t-shirt but the prices are certainly better. I also like the idea they might use a printer closer to the customer. I just worry about the quality, I did a sample order with printify and the shirt was nice but will they always be. Would really like to know your thoughts. x Angela

If you have an existing LLC you should be able to add a DBA under it depending on the laws in your state. It typically requires paying to register the trade name.

The truth is, I'm personally over using WooCommerce. Shopify has one of the best, if not THE best, tech team & development team in the world. I'm over trying to save money with hosting fees & would rather guarantee that my store stays online, and that all of my plugins work together, and guarantee that I have the best development team keeping my store secure from hackers & scammers, rather than try and save some hosting money and use an open-source platform! And I can't in good conscious recommend it to others because if your store takes off, you'll want to migrate for these exact reasons, and migrating will be such a huge hassle/nightmare. So I can't in good conscious make tutorial videos on it, when I just don't recommend it 🙏

Thank you, I'm not quite sure what you mean, I'm sorry! You do not select print colors, Printify will print your designs in the color that you upload them, you don't need to select the colors for the ink.

As what u taught, using printify app shipping profile without creating my own shipping profile in shopify. Assuming i have 5 different products using either similar or different print providers with their respective shipping rates. On customer's checkout, assuming buying 3 different products, will customer b paying different shipping rates as based on the respective print providers ?? Since i did not create my own shipping profile in shopify.
