Engine 10 of the Dayton Fire Department navigated through flooded intersections at Weaver and Broadway Avenue on Friday evening.
The Montgomery County 911 center received a substantial influx of calls related to the severe weather conditions, including strong winds and heavy rainfall, that impacted the region last Friday.
The adverse weather conditions triggered fire alarms, caused trees to fall, and resulted in downed power lines.
Although the winds eventually subsided later in the evening, the rainfall persisted throughout the weekend.
We commend the Dayton Firefighters for their exceptional efforts during this demanding period.
