When Brett asked Nate, why Khamzat Chimaev, Nate was trying to explain that when he was an up and coming fighter, he had no desire to fight the legends of the sport at that time like BJ Penn, etc because he respected them but these modern day fighters take joy in knocking out or beating the legends of this new era like a Nate Diaz himself, or when Izzy beat Anderson Silva, or how Usman wanted to fight a retired GSP! # 1 on trending … this man is on another level of UFC superstar.
Diaz Army ✊🏼
I started watching UFC after the nick and nate era so never really understood why everyone rated them so much. After watching so many of their fights now and interviews, they are the realest people in the UFC by a long shot. Big respect to both of them. You got this Nate 💪
They have the biggest hearts. They are who they are, no acting or pretending. The know what this is all about.
And they'd promote weed smoking at UFC press conferences and would smoke during them so they gained fans that way too
@@ptrekboxbreaks5198 lol that sounds like something a child would say. "they promote weed at the press conference"
@@RL-ww5ev weed products bring in A LOT of money. This ain’t KID TALK. The industry is worth billions.
Love him or hate him, he is a living legend of the game.
Who on earth could or does hate him!?
He is legendary food for my wolf🐺
I cringe when people use " Love him or hate him" its overused too much
GD Right
@@thejamesbondshow9754 I do. But in a relaxed and chill fashion.
I think he's a idiot and his brother has well. Probably you too.
WHAT A BANGER INTERVIEW & MUCH RESPECT TOO BRETT FOR LETTING HIM TALK TO 🤘🏽🔥
You can’t really forget or deny what this man has done in his career or the sport. They can say all they want about his record but the recognition speaks for itself. Him and his brother straight savages and legends of the sport.
What has he done? I dont mean to be disrespectful, there are no bad fighters at this level, but why is he so special? Its hard to understand what he is saying, he talks and acts like a common thug, he loses a lot and gets beat up even when he wins. Yet he does have a lot of fans. Is it because he rebels against UFC?
as he rightly fully states, the records are meaningless. if you play the point system like a kahbib, you can win matches. nate likes to FIGHT, not just win points.
@@edgarskalnins5390 Nate won the ultimate fighter and the reason he’s loved by fans is because he fought everybody. He fought killers not bums at the start of his career. that’s why he got lots of losses in his record.
Khabib was the best right? 29 and 0 right? Lol 17 of those were bums.
@@blackr0se
dear casual, do you actually know that Khabib has the same amount of submissions as Nate. oh yes, and Khabib has more KO/TKO wins as well so it's clear you have no idea what you're talking about.
@@edgarskalnins5390 bro we get it , you hate the man and will diminish any of his success because that’s what bitter individuals typically do .
I really like this dude, isn't comfortable talking on camera but still manages to give us an interview where we get to see what's going on inside his mind. He's a special martial artist/fighter.
Nate loving his brother breaks my heart and fills my heart every time.
This guy is grass roots badass MMA....He's a legend that no one can ever forget if they really follow MMA. He'll fight anyone and always represent. It will be sad when he retires.
i agree
This interview is gold. Imagine if Nate wins, this will be cut and replayed many times
Hopefully he does
i hope he wins bro
THIS WILL BE REPLAYED!!
@@trippymuffin9672 Ik costa’s opinion that Nate is gonna win is biased but it just got feeling some type of way that he has more of chance than he did. This is the first time I kinda wanna go against my country just cause you can’t disrespect Nate he’s a real gangster.
Hopefully with subtitles!..
The fact Brett has gotten these kind of interviews out of Nate and Nick back to back is special man 👏👏
Gotta think how much money the Diaz bros have made off those interveiws. I'm sure they didn't do them for free, they know the business, remember? Lol.
@@codyhenley12 lmfaoooo what????? when tf has a fighter ever been paid for an interview, the Diaz bros just like Brett simple as that.
If nick is cool with Brett then you know Nate rocks with Brett that’s loyalty and true brother hood respect bro stay blessed 🙏🏻💯
Because Brett’s got the hood WEEEED! Lol
This guy fought and fought for like 15 years nearly now, win draw or lose he has a bigger fan-base than most and it's well deserved.
@@carloandreaguilar5916 daddy why u so salty😚
To think nate does not deserve the fan base he has is fckin insane. Must be peeps who have not watched him since the start of his career.
Nate literally sat out for 3 years because the UFC wouldn’t pay him $2M per fight.
@@carloandreaguilar5916 atleast he’s got more fan base than u with 13 subs...gtfoh
@@carloandreaguilar5916 daddy chill
I frequently come back to this interview cause everything Nate said was absolute truth. He exposed the behind the scenes antics the Company pulls on their fighters. He didn't tell a single lie unlike Dana who openly bashes the fighters and bullies/hardballs them into taking fights that make no sense and take pennies for it.
Ur not alone bro. I come watch this video once or twice a day xD. Diaz brothers are the realest.
"As far as I'm concerned I was a champion the whole time" - Nate Diaz

33:28 for nate diaz to say “this was a great interview” had to really be a great interview‼️ Youre a legend now brett
this what I thought XD he's the chosen one
ok
He was innocent and humble before they desensitize the comment section. Do people not realize how stupid this guy is. A literal vegetable. He needed to be humbled by Kaz Matt now he’s just gonna be annoying.

ok
Only one word for this man: RESPECT!!
i got another one, stoner
Are you telling the word to him?
I'm not surprised mfer lmao
Hi, if you are not saved, and would like to be included in the rapture of the church. Believe that Jesus's death on the cross, was enough to pay for ALL your sins , yes ALL ,(past, present and future) That is what the Gospel is about. We are saved by GOD'S amazing grace, through our faith in Jesus's sinless life, death on the cross and resurrection 3 days later . No additional works needed. It is literally that simple. Ephesians 2:8-9 Romans 10:9-10 Romans 4:5
Casual.
This really was a great interview, he asked all of the right questions without antagonizing him. I'm glad Nate let down his guard a little.
Gotta respect Nate for taking this fight and for the legacy he will leave behind, win or lose. Him and Nick are the main reason I got into watching UFC back in 2011 and was inspired by both of them to start training MMA myself.
What legacy ?

Nate has a lot of fans behind him.
Man’s a true-life brawler and not many others can lay claim to this.
I hope he goes out on a high note and keeps his focus for this one.

I hope he just goes away.
You cant take anything away from Nate Diaz. It's been so sick following his entire career, and Nick's. LEGENDS

Would love if Nate ended up winning and proved everyone wrong . Gonna miss watching this guy when he’s done fighting . Nate you are the goat !
Nate is beyond g.o.a.t. status , he's the most straightforward , true to his word , never back down and do not capitulate fighter the UFC ever had the privilege of promoting .
He is clown surrounded by losers supported by fang4ys lmao
Honestly not sure what his word even is, he cant even put together coherent sentences and get to any point. Most of it is just disorganized gibberish
@@DaLaxer98 really? That’s all the respect you have for a true hall of famer?
"i wanna fight francis" lmao haha nate is a clown
@@fatsexy1978 but he's here listening to the interview...
I think people misunderstand Nate, especially those that call him “delusional” when he claims he’s the goat. When he says he’s the goat, he means in the sense that, he’s been doing this since guys like Usman were in high school, Izzy was break dancing and GSP, Penn were the man.
Basically, longevity, and influence is what he refers to when he states he’s the goat. Also the factor of not being put out cold whilst majority of fighters have been fighting less than him and yet have been KO’d numerous amount of times.
And the fact that he’s never begged for anything or had to be the UFC’s puppet. Plus how he changed the game with CBD, picking his own fights etc. it’s a bigger picture than people realise.
well, thats what you think he means anyhow
The only thing Nate says that bugs me is that he was never finished, we gotta stop acting like Josh Thomson ain’t put him out fair and square 😂
Nah yo, he delusional lol
yeah it is like when he says "who's their guy?" Before Jordan' Jordan had Julius. Before Julius Julius had Bill and Wilt. Before Kobe' Kobe had Jordan. Before Lebron' Lebron had Kobe & Jordan....etc etc. I get what he saying totally.
You know if ucf was an street fight Nate and nick will whipped any mf all those decisions they lost is by a system mf will gass out they can’t keep going with them
You've gotta respect him for always being real. "Thats what I do!" What a legend! He's gonna smash this guy if the fight even goes ahead.... Screw all the haters... Behind you all the way Nate!!!!!
