👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Love you Matt! You NEED (and by “need” I mean your life will be more blessed) to watch Joyful Joyful (live from Evergreen- no copyright issues), O Come All Ye Faithful and Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy!!! 🔥🔥🔥🤯🤯🤯
All of their Christmas music is phenomenal, but make sure to react to "O Come All Ye Faithful." It's a flat-out groove with an awesome Lion King vibe. Love your reactions!
I agree "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy " also known as " The Song Without Words Preformed By A Group With No Instruments " 🤯🤯 You won't be sorry but, prepare for another Mitch slap. There you've been warned 🤣🤣
She had you doin tha stank face FO SHO!!! However, when she lets loose, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't overlook what Avi is doing behind her... I can't help it... He'll ALWAYS be my favorite... Avi-ously... ❤️
They did win a Grammy for Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, I believe it's on the same album as this one. Definitely need to react to that one. I've already started listening to their Christmas cds.
Christmas music is their specialty. You will not hear anyone Do it the way they Do it. I can promise you that. O come All ye Faithful will put a Hudge smile on your Face. You will never wanna hear it any other way again
Please, Oh Come All Ye Faithful!!! There aren't enough awards to cover all their Christmas songs! I'm sitting here laughing out loud at your reaction, love you, enjoy the rest of your PTX ride!
I think you can say “I was not expecting this” about pretty much EVERY PTX song! And there are many deserved but not awarded Grammies among their catalog!
As others have said, if you're looking for award winning with a similar Xmas vibe, watch Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies. It's one of their three Grammy winning performances. (Along with Daft Punk and Dolly Parton/Jolene.)
Geoff Castellucci also does a video of God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman. There are 5 of him in the video LOL. And for a VERY different Christmas song, PLEASE react to Pentatonix singing O Come All Ye Faithful. It is a mind blowing experience 😉😉😉😉💓💓
Yes, you need to get the Pentatonix Christmas album for your Mom! Pentatonix twist on all the classics, so welcome a change, and so well done. Glad to see you loving this! 😁😁😎
Only got one thing to say like Molly Aron... "Dance of the sugar plum fairies". It will blow you away. A group with no instruments doing a song with no words. Great video. Blessings
Fantastic reaction! Your face when they hit the high note! You really ought to do their Dance of the Sugar Plum Faires from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker ballet next, it dove tails with this one and they won the Grammy for THAT one!!! It's symphonic music; no words. As someone said below, a group with no instruments performing a song with no words...and they knocked it out of the park! And yes, also, please PLEASE do their O Come All Ye Faithful soon! Perhaps their most joyful Christmas song! We love you too, brother!
Hello Matts Reacts. Pentatonix does it again. A Capella at its very best. Great vocals, excellent arrangement, creative videography. All five of them are always superb, individually and in harmony - listen to Kevin on that fast beat-boxing, Avi on those deep notes, Scott so raspy, Kirstie so sharp and wow Mitch with those smooth angelic vocals and that astounding high note up in the stratosphere. I thought that you were going to pause during the build up and I am so glad that you did not - after that high note your reaction made be laugh. Your fish OK? Surprised that Mitch did not shatter the glass of their tank. PTX is just the best ever !!!. You have so much more to do of the PTx Christmas repertoire - keep going. Agree with you --- this should have won an award. What level are they on? The highest level of excellence. May I recommend that you react to PTX version of Waltz of the Flowers? BTW - new PTX Christmas album coming out on October 28!! Moe PTX please. Do all their Christmas songs.
HaHa!!! I just can't wait to see you do all of their other Christmas songs!!! Ptx Christmas music = classic Christmas music turned on it's head, spun around, dangled from the ceiling & served with joy & happiness!!! 😂😂😂 I hope you have O Come All Ye Faithful coming soon!!!
"Just checking on my fish" after the Mitch slap. 😂 Don't worry, you're wearing headphones, they're safe! This is one of my favorite PTX Christmas songs and I'm so glad you reacted to it. You're in for an awesome Christmas-y (sleigh) ride!
Matt: now I think you are beginning to understand that when you look up Christmas music in the dictionary, you will see a picture of Pentatonix. Your sleigh ride into their Christmas catalogue has just begun! Thank you, as always, for your sincere and enjoyable reactions.
Pentatonix comes out with a new Christmas album *every year.* You can put together a huge playlist of PTX Christmas music, and even the songs you already know will sound new to you. And I bet your mother would love *all* of them.
Another fantastic reaction! Thank you so much for sharing your Pentatonix journey with us. I'm still waiting for O Come All Ye Faithful though, that's my favorite.
Welcome to the wacky wonderful world of Pentatonix Christmas. After decades of the same old treatment of all the classics when you just can't stand the thought of hearing any of them one more time... believe it or not, believe us Pentaholics or not, PTX will surprise and shock you EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. (in a good way). Every holiday song they slingshot you out, boomerang you back and work their magic, repeatedly. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Even songs like 12 Days of Christmas are fun again! You will want/need every single one of their Christmas albums...and will enjoy them...all year long! Better get busy!
PTX Christmas songs are amazing! Their PTX magic sprinkled on the classics is the freshness everyone needs during the holiday season ❤️ great reaction ♥️
As a lady older than your mon, believe me, she would love to have a PTX Christmas album for Advent. Don't wait for Christmas. She can play one a day from Nov. 27 to Dec.24.
Amazing reaction! When I was in Acapella, we had the hardest time keeping tempo with this one. (Even with our Conductor leading us) We always wanted to run off with it! HUGE Props to them for keeping that furious tempo perfectly!!!!
Great reaction.... I LOVE their Christmas music. I finally get to see them on their Christmas tour. I am so excited. If your mom loves Christmas music then you need to have her listen to them. If you have not seen their live version of Carol of the Bells from their Christmas Under the Stars special 2021 you need to check it out. Amazing!
There is a beautiful Christmas song called "evergreen" from the album of the same name. I love it because it is very simple and has a beautiful massage. And I also think it's an original. But it's so underrated I rarely saw someone react to it. But I just realized I can't find the video anywhere!!! Can another Pentatholic please help me 😅 I remembered that I saw them playing it in an official video somewhere in a forest with a guitar.... am i hallucinating?
Huge Christmas music performances of theirs were "Little Drummer Boy" in 2012 I believe that topped the Billboard charts and their "Mary Do You Know" done in the Branson caves (the batman cave) in Los Angeles.
They make this sound like a warning of dire things----Perhaps those "Merry Gentlemen" are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse? And that "Sugar Plum Fairy" people have mentioned? I think she has bat wings. . . On the other hand, "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" will bring joyous hand raising and dancing down the hall. Soooo many more marvels await you!
Yay! That was a fantastic reaction! We love you Matt! Thanks for the smiles and surprise! Loved it! I read below to see the recommendations And they are all A-OKAY by me!
Great reaction!! You are going to have the greatest musical Christmas EVER!! Agree with Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and O'Come All Ye Faithful next. Never thought I'd jam out to I song I've sang in church a hundred times! 🎄💞
The first time I heard this was on the Grinch movie. I automatically knew it wa Pentatonix by their voices. I looked it up to be sure though. Great version!
It does NO good to tell you to prepare for shock and awe with every song. No matter how prepared you are to be blown away...they will still get you EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. All you can do is buckle up, pad the walls, cover the floor with cushions, keep smelling salts within reach and tissues for all the drool. Then you might be prepared...but don't count on it. (also, invest in a thesaurus and your favorite alcoholic beverage...much toasting will ensue)
This is my all-time favorite Christmas song of theirs. I always prefer traditional carols to the more syrupy, winter-wonderland types, and the spin they put on this one is so, so creative--the way they gave it a creepy, haunted-house vibe, the way they went full-on Cossack at the end--it became a completely different song in their hands.
My dude…. You have NO CLUE what you are about to experience with the PTX Christmas catalogue. This is what they are (were) known for before the addition of Matt took them to the next level. Have fun bro, I’m kinda envious you’re get to experience it for the first time.
Does your mom still do CD's? Buy her a couple of Penatonix CD's for Christmas. Moms love Pentatonix. If you are doing PTX Christmas now, I suggest you think of the Christmas song you are the most tired of hearing during the holidays, see if PTX has done a version and I bet they'll make you like it again. For a couple of songs that are not too Christmasy, I suggest "Sweater Weather" (The Neighborhood) and "Coldest Winter" (Kanye; do the live version from A Not So Silent Night)
Ha, I just came across your channel just now. I was feeling a little down because of some issues I am haveing and was thinking I should just call it a night and just go to bed, but I was scrooling over utube and saw your post and I love Penatonx so I started listening and I heard youi say a couple realy kind things and than I heard you say you loved us. I could not explain how that made me feel except just hearing someone say that to me at the right time I probley needed to hear it was God sent from you to me. I had to write and let you know how just a kind right saying that was heart sent and felt lifted up my spirit. Thank you very much. I will probley go to bed after I finish watching this video as I do have to get up early in the morning but I am more at peace now and will fall asleep with less stress and worry. I will be watching more of your videos in the future. Know What?? Love you and your viewers also
NARAL has a problem - virtually everything PTX does is worthy of a Grammy, but in the first place NARAL can't give out *that* many Grammys, and in the second place they have to let other people win, too. Therefore, Pentatonix has won only 3 Grammys.
Things to watch next: Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (yes, that instrumental from the ballet 'The Nutcracker') and winner of their 2nd Grammy, and then Oh Come all ye Faithful and then you'll hear how a song of celebration should sound like (I'm not Christian but if you're going to sing a song about the main dude of your religion then it had better be good!)
You should react to Pentatonix Oh come all ye faithful.
Second this with enthusiasm!
O Come all ye faithful has to be the next one! :)
Thanks for the great reaction!! If you liked this one you’ll love Pentatonix’ take on Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy…they won a Grammy for it!
Agree!
Agree
Come all ye faithful next! Will blow your mind also!!!

Pentatonix and Christmas are magical. They really come alive.
As others have said, if you're looking for award winning with a similar Xmas vibe, watch Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies. It's one of their three Grammy winning performances. (Along with Daft Punk and Dolly Parton/Jolene.)
This performance is other-worldly. It never get old.
This was my Mom's favorite Christmas song. She passed in 1994, she would have loved it!
It didn't win an award probably because it's competition would have been Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
Yes, you need to get the Pentatonix Christmas album for your Mom! Pentatonix twist on all the classics, so welcome a change, and so well done. Glad to see you loving this! 😁😁😎

I second that rec. There is nothing more joyful than that rendition!
Yes please
Pentatonix owns Christmas. I suggest Oh come all ye faithful. Thanks for the smiles Matt.
"Just checking on my fish" after the Mitch slap. 😂 Don't worry, you're wearing headphones, they're safe! This is one of my favorite PTX Christmas songs and I'm so glad you reacted to it. You're in for an awesome Christmas-y (sleigh) ride!
One of my all time favorite Christmas songs by PTX!! ❤️
🌟ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
What level you asked? THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!
PENTATONIX = Christmas!!
Sweet Jesus, I LOVE watching people experience PTX's genius for the first time!!!!!
Matt: now I think you are beginning to understand that when you look up Christmas music in the dictionary, you will see a picture of Pentatonix. Your sleigh ride into their Christmas catalogue has just begun! Thank you, as always, for your sincere and enjoyable reactions.

PTX Christmas songs are amazing! Their PTX magic sprinkled on the classics is the freshness everyone needs during the holiday season ❤️ great reaction ♥️

LOL ya, it's like that all Christmas!!!...I did notice the fish in the first tank eyes bugged out....
Retail Christmas songs at the Mall can’t hold a candle to Pentatonix’s Christmas songs!
Amazing reaction! When I was in Acapella, we had the hardest time keeping tempo with this one. (Even with our Conductor leading us) We always wanted to run off with it! HUGE Props to them for keeping that furious tempo perfectly!!!!
It doesn't get much better than PTX Christmas music.
Matt, I hope you make sure your mothers sees all these Christmas videos! :) Knew you would ❤ this!
Matt’s checking the aquarium to make sure it didn’t crack with that high note.🤣
I wish this was the Christmas music that was played when I worked retail. Would have made it way more fun!
Pentatonix has flipped every Christmas on it's head and made it all new.
Their cover of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy video won a Grammy! Its one of my favorites!!!
Great reaction.... I LOVE their Christmas music. I finally get to see them on their Christmas tour. I am so excited. If your mom loves Christmas music then you need to have her listen to them. I adore this song and this video. And I love love love that it's played in the Grinch movie (2018). I never get tired of watching that scene.
SO MANY MORE TO COME! PREPARE YOURSELF!🤣
And this is also a fun one when they do it live 🙃😜😋🤯
Yes! I know!! Your face says it all!! Love your reactions!!!
Okay yup really cool PTX 🫶🏼 Matt Mahalos ❣️😉🤙🏼

That is definitely one of my favorites. You can't help but conduct as you watch it.
One of my favourite Christmas songs by them. Phenomenal. Great reaction!
You MUST react to their version of “12 Days of Christmas”!!
Never a cover... Always an upgrade!!! ❣❣❣❣❣

I loved your reaction! Yes, prepare to have your Christmas music expectatioins completely upended, in the best of all possible ways!
Christmas is their thing. I get to see them in December.
Your reaction at every section had me howling 😂😂😂 loved it x

Recommend their original, Thank You.
Fantastic! I'm slitting in my room clapping for them like I'm at their concert, and like I've never heard this before!❤
I agree with the previous suggestions of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and O Come All Ye Faithful and I will add Silent Night
They're always amazing!
They are EPIC, all of the time!
A Christmas song that many miss out on is “Coventry Carol”. I think that you’d really like it.
The guy who puts together their vids is the secret 6th member and deserves a big pat on the back too! 👌🏻💖
You should check out their version of O Come All Ye Faithful. That one is Amazing.
Hi, I just subscribed ! Do watch their DANCE OF THE SUGAR PLUM FAIRIES !!! They won a GRAMMY !
Does your mom still do CD's? Buy her a couple of Penatonix CD's for Christmas. Moms love Pentatonix. And the Mitch Slaps keep coming. LOL
They might be agents in the Matrix. Or maybe they are all collectively NEO.
your reaction is just tooooo much bro ! luv ya
Knew you would love this one! ❤️🎄
A masterpiece.
about the entire PTX Christmas catalog > consider yourself warned 🤣🔥🙌🏻
Wait until you hear what they do to Oh Come All Ye Faithful!

You should react to their live performance of Joyful Joyful from last year’s Evergreen Christmas tour.

Think of a Christmas song you dislike and listen to their version. They will change your mind.
You may want to review Pentatonix's "Oh Come All Ye Fathfull" some time.
You Need to react to O come all Ye Faithful!
They actually performed this live…at it sounds as good , if not better, than the video!
❤️🙌🙌
PLEASE react to 12 DAYS OF XMAS and MY FAVORITE THINGS. I usually HATE those songs, and they make me love BOTH!!!!❤❤❤❤
Now you need to check out Geoff Castellucci's version. It is insanely good.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Try Dance of The Sugar plum Fairy a Grammy for them.
You should introduce your mum to Pentatonix Christmas music.
