My wife and I took 4WD rigs off pavement about a dozen times a year in Utah from 1987 until we moved to Michigan in 2007--including about a dozen trips to the Moab area. We drove Elephant Hill, the entire length of the Lockhart Basin Road and more than a dozen other well-known roads in the Moab area. Almost every time I came to an obstacle and my wife said I could surmount it, I was able to do so. The very few times she said that and I failed to do so, I got out, she got into the drivers seat and did what I had failed to do. There are places a 4WD rig won't go but you can go more places if you have a really good driver with you.
The scorpion was getting sleepy in the trip, like a black diamond skier going on greens all day to entertain the kids. I saw EricTheCarGuy mention BleepinJeep. Good job helping Eric save his Fairmont with the exclusive BleepinJeep Quick-Release fire extinguisher clamps!
The trip keeps getting better. Takes skill to navigate with open differentials. Kudos to Tim! Also digging Tyler's YJ getting it done with a 4 cylinder and stick. Child's play for the scorpion crawler. You guys make a person shout "God bless America".
Great driving Tim!!! Conquering those kind of obstacles with open diffs is not as easy as you made it look. Matt, the more I see the Scorpion Crawler the more I think it is evolving into one heck of a rock clawler! And last but not least, Tyler has proven with great driving skills that a mildly built vehicle can conquer Moab! Awesome Video!
I enjoy seeing any and all type jeeps wheeling together. We will wheel with jeeps from stock to jeeps on 35's. XJ's to JK's and we all have fun. Keep it up.
Looks can be deceiving.. i bet they are running lower psi than you think. different tires, different sidewalls, different width wheels mixed with different width tires, and different weight jeeps all play into what you think it maybe might could possibly look like. not all 12 psi tires look the same
great videos on Utah week. There's a new drinking game, every time Tyler bottoms out his bumper on the rocks you have to drink! In all fairness Tyler has the lowest 4x4 and does very well crawling. keep up the good work and keep us updated on the projects!
I watched this on Patreon and so glad everyone else gets to see it. Of course I am watching it again. Can’t wait to get my jeep mohab ready to one day go out with you guys. Thanks for showing another awesome video.
My only complaint about all of this was the Zombie Jeep was left out of all of the fun. Keep the videos coming! The budget builds and do-it-yourself videos have been a lifesaver for me over the years!
Tyler’s jeep is impressive.for the smaller tires and leaf springs it does real well..tims jeep was doing good for not having lockers. Matt your jeep is a beast!!!!!! That sandy stuff looked fun. We have lots of white sugar sand in my area that seems a lot like that stuff.
Nice crawling. The YJ got my attention . It did greatly but at a point the driver was becoming inpatient with the crawl and kept bumping the rear but it proved to be a resourceful 2 door of the rest.
@BleepinJeep Looks like a great trip! I love this series! Long time viewer. @Tyler, I wouldn't have thought your YJ with the 2.5l was so capable. Makes me want to build up my 92. I remember your walk around video a while back. Maybe you could do an updated one with lessons learned from your Moab trip? What you'd change, what were the right mods, what surprised you etc? Help me make some decisions on my YJ. I'd love to do a trip like this someday with the family.
Really enjoyable...the Scorpion Crawler ate it up, nice job on them all out there.👍👍 Got the feeling I was there enjoying right along with the excitement👌
When is the next wheelin trip get together in general?I just got a 94 XJ that was inspired by your channel, seriously! It was so addicting to me watching the videos that I literally bought an XJ to start my wheelin adventures.I would love to go on a ride with you guys and who knows, might lead into a great friendship from Cinti,Ohio?Let me know when so I can make sure we are ready to go!Thanks guys for the knowledge and entertainment.👍✌️
Man that looks like a sweet place to wheel...maybe some day I'll make it down there...I'm from canada so we don't have many desserts around...but we do get to do alot of snow wheeling...
Another great video gents! Looks like a fantastic trail with superb scenery. Already looking forward to seeing the new one. Keep up the outstanding work.
I'm not a very experienced off roader but it seems like trying to take it easy on the obstacle and failing, is a lot harder on the vehicle than going a little harder initially but making it over the obstacle the first time.
My trouble shooting skills are mostly about noise. I know YT does not do justice to sound but what is making the noise coming out of the green XJ that has been evident in every trail video in this series. It almost sounds like rotating metal rubbing on something. Thanks for the videos.
Great videos guys, Really enjoy them all. Out of curiosity, how was Tyler able to get his yj to flex at all? I bought my first yj not long ago and the ride is terrible. Thank you for any suggestions and time.
Ok. So thanks to scrolling through previous messages I found the walk around video of his yj, very helpful! Thanks again for all the great videos and helpful info.
Maybe the fan is tapping the shroud? Hope you figure it out. I'm kinda curious as to what the noise is on tims jeep also i was going to post a comment about it when I saw you already had.
off topic i know you ar all jeep fans and i ijoy all your vidioes ,but i liv in eroupe we dont have manny jeeps ,but du you have nissan patrol s ind the us or onely in sothe amerika ?
Far from the same, patrol has solid axles, and the y60 model 1987-1997 annd the y61 1997-2003 has coil springs front and rear ,the bigest problem is the engingens er to small mostlige a 2,8td l6 ,but the bilde is like a landcruser hjd80
My favorite "part" of the entire series. Everyone got to drive. No big egos. Just a bunch of good friends.
Absolutely

If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you.

Nice, I need to go watch that video now!
The trip keeps getting better. Takes skill to navigate with open differentials. Kudos to Tim! Also digging Tyler's YJ getting it done with a 4 cylinder and stick. Child's play for the scorpion crawler. You guys make a person shout "God bless America".
Lol, thanks! Merica
#mattbleepinkeep showing off his sand climbing skills..i heard that throttle control..momentum baby

Killer video. Really love the buggy. Looks like a fun trail. Can’t wait to hit it in couple weeks.
I enjoy seeing any and all type jeeps wheeling together. We will wheel with jeeps from stock to jeeps on 35's. XJ's to JK's and we all have fun. Keep it up.
Tim's jeep will be unstoppable once it has lockers
Was wondering why did he not put any lockers in when he was building them.
I believe it is work in progress. He has the flex for sure.
i think it has no lockers because it was built in like a week so that he could go on this trip
Didn't look like anybody aired down. I usually air down to 12 psi.
Looks can be deceiving.. i bet they are running lower psi than you think.

That little red YJ kicked ass. Great video, thank you.
I watched this on Patreon and so glad everyone else gets to see it. Of course I am watching it again. Can’t wait to get my jeep mohab ready to one day go out with you guys. Thanks for showing another awesome video.
Yes absolutely beautiful job on the scorpion crawler Matt!
Sweet!!! I see the green ones frnt fenders are now a part of Utah. Good times!!! Thanks again guys, you Rock..
My only complaint about all of this was the Zombie Jeep was left out of all of the fun. Keep the videos coming! The budget builds and do-it-yourself videos have been a lifesaver for me over the years!
Good for Tim. he is gaining more experience and i am sure he got a to do list on his rig. Scorpion is cruising out there. Nice video's.
Anything with jeeps and rocks is AWESOME!!!
16:30 wicked flex. Deffently a money shot!

Well done without lockers or large tires! Air those tires WAY down from where they are. You'll be amazed at the difference.
Great educational and entertaining video by down to earth and modest folk.
That scorpion crawler makes these trails look way to easy.
Hey Tim, Really Liking that 2 door xj
This is such a cool trail. Great scenery and that ledge is scary to say the least
Great video! Nice early Bronco at the 8:50 mark.
Really enjoyable...the Scorpion Crawler ate it up, nice job on them all out there.👍👍 Got the feeling I was there enjoying right along with the excitement👌
Frank Pryor Moab is amazing. Such a wheeling haven
Also, Thank you Tyler for that Great video on the Napier fenders install...Dun Did It..
Man video does this trail no justice. That first ledge along the river is so scary.
YES!
I freaking love that xj. Awesome video
Must have made the lady mad she was sending you off towards the cliff! Nice video man, makes me want to go crawling
All the big lifts and big tires super flexy and yet I like the 4cyl yj the most lol
What size tires are on that YJ?
4:58 the refreshing sound of a Busch light
Tim's Treadwrights sure can dig!
Moab Rim is one of those trails that I want to do but not by myself.
WOW! Beautiful footage Guys!
You guys are great. Been loving the daily uploads! But man I want more of the Comanche
Definitely give me some inspiration of what to do with my "parts xj". Looks like an amazing trip! Thanks
haha, i have spent $4k-$5k upgrading my "parts xj". it is now nicer than my DD xj .!.
Man that is just one awesome journey. Love it
👍👍makes me want to visit the utha desert. (from Québec Canada) 👍👍
Man that looks like a sweet place to wheel...maybe some day I'll make it down there...I'm from canada so we don't have many desserts around...but we do get to do alot of snow wheeling...
i am not a hummer off road fan but man i love them they just look so bad ass :)
Awesome video/ trip... I would like to see a video of the three of you on the RUBICON!!!
Thanks for sharing this. Trophy 🏆🏆🌟
Looks like a lot of FUN!
Another great video gents! Looks like a fantastic trail with superb scenery. Already looking forward to seeing the new one. Keep up the outstanding work.
3 or 4 days of amazing footage!!!! Loved every episode
You missed about 4 days🤔
BleepinJeep I just realized I missed some catching up now...lol
Great job on all the jeep enjoyed all videos
Great video can't wait to get out there. Any reason Tim didn't put lockers he has more than enough axle for it.
need more patreon support!
I've been there. That's a tough trail!
Coach D it is a tough trail. But so unique 👌
Looks like you guys had a great time! It hurts to watch that poor Cherokee working so hard on what would be a walk in the park with lockers. :-P
I thoroughly enjoyed the technical driving against the beautiful background.
2 door xj , love em
Love it thanks for the new video
That was nice of Matt to let everyone drive the Scoripon Crawler...
19 minutes gone like seconds awesome video
I'm not a very experienced off roader but it seems like trying to take it easy on the obstacle and failing, is a lot harder on the vehicle than going a little harder initially but making it over the obstacle the first time.
What happened to dances with wolves? Great job guys!
Tim needs lockers! he did good without but most of his struggles would go away. I need locker too lol
Thats a marlboro wrangler! Havent seen that paint scheme in 25 years lol.
that was something else, all i got
The guy with the xj could use the E brake for the rear diff in order to engage the lsd
Been waiting for this!!! Thanks for posting.
My trouble shooting skills are mostly about noise. I know YT does not do justice to sound but what is making the noise coming out of the green XJ that has been evident in every trail video in this series. It almost sounds like rotating metal rubbing on something.
Thanks for the videos.
it was the alternator bearing
Another great video, and that suspension on Tim's Cherokee is great. What size tires were those again? 35's?
ya I think so.
Why didnt the 2 door xj air down? Trying to crawl with air in the tires is like having an anchor behind you.
Love the last bit... “Passenger... passenger... uh...?”
Awesome video , what Sliders do you have on the doors for protection for the Blue XJ ?
18:50 scene is still my favorite part. 😂😂
Any videos on what’s done to this yj?
ruclips.net/video/aDR5NvAaJvg/видео.html
Killer video guys,,,what lift is on the GREEN MONSTER,,,
Dear god the front fenders on the 2 door XJ lmao!
Warranty shmarranty. Air down those tires Tim😐
Thumbs up on the intro! Video is excellent.
I love to see a girl drive, and laugh about killin it! She might be a keeper 🤣
I think at 12:00 you should be down to about 6-8 psi!
Is the YJ stock? I mean only tire and no blocks.
no its not stock
does matt clap when the plane lands?
Where did Tim get his rock sliders.I need a pair
at the metal supply wharehouse
Tim has 33s? And nice description
Green Cherokee.Less air pressure is the trick for a money shot.
Ah, so this was after Tim's fenders got their summer crew cut.
Am i the only one that expected tims jeep to perform much better than it did?
Definitely needed to air them tires down some
Epic bruh moment
Whats that noise coming from Tims xj? My jeep has a very similar noice.
Seventy Eleventy my xj made a similar noise when all my bell housing bolts loosened up from the engine.
Mine sounds like it's coming from the front.
I will definitely check the bellhousing bolt still
Maybe the fan is tapping the shroud? Hope you figure it out. I'm kinda curious as to what the noise is on tims jeep also i was going to post a comment about it when I saw you already had.
It was a bad alternator bearing
I thinks shes trying to get rid of Tim, passenger!
So will you guys give directions to the metal masher trailhead or would it be the Gemini bridge trailhead?
I’m gonna have to find directions myself! EJS has a good booklet, stop by and get one!
BleepinJeep alright I will see about getting one
Stop at Moab Motorsports. They will point you the way.
I downloaded the maps from trail damage and use giai GPS. It works great for those trails hard to find or if you're worried about getting lost 👍
Is that the power steering pump I hear on Tim's XJ?
Alternator
Open diffs ?
Tims front drive is working now and fenders cut . When. did that happen?
The Cat Felix lloiihhg
In the parking lot of Laquinta
Need lower tire pressure 8-12psi
No lockers....?
I'm sure they did but, did anyone air down?
Always
Falta bloqueio pra Cheroka ficar show...
off topic i know you ar all jeep fans and i ijoy all your vidioes ,but i liv in eroupe we dont have manny jeeps ,but du you have nissan patrol s ind the us or onely in sothe amerika ?
we have the Nissan Pathfinder

LOL @ 11:10 & 16:06 & 18:50! 😂🤣😅
Ya need some lockers. Would been 10x easier lmao.
