Mt Toubkal Winter Climb January 2023

Video of the trip to Morocco to climb Mt Toubkal in winter, did the trip over a weekend in January 2023. Would recommend doing an acclimatization day, due to the altitude found it quite difficult going to start with, but this improved once we got above the steepest point and the long trek up to the summit. Well worth the effort to watch the sunrise over the Sahara.
Next time may do a longer trip as Imlil is such a good base for the area.

Hi Mark - how cold was it at the summit day. I am planing a trip next week and was wondering whether to invest in a thick insulation jacket. Can you rent it form Marrakech?

How was your trip Vik? Did you get lucky with a weather window? If you went up on a windy day I am guessing the temp went down to around minus 10-15c during February?
