This show hasn't been funny since the first few years with Greg Thomey and Rick Mercer and Mary Walsh and Cathy Jones. They had pre daily show intro but with 'the more we get together' as the theme song. The old episodes are online, check them out.

Thanks for covering this. I don’t know anyone here in Canada who likes Trudeau. I like Poilievre from what I’ve seen.. but when the conservatives embrace the culture war nonsense it pisses me off. Last election I might have voted conservative but the idea of legalizing assault rifles came up and I was done. Didn’t vote. The first of either party to stop focusing on dumb ass culture wars has got my vote, but it won’t happen. Tucker was only here to take advantage of any divisions, pile it on, and make some money because this shit is entertaining to people. It’s not remotely informative. He knows how to get an audience and that’s by being edgy or outrageous. Simple, plain politics is pretty boring. He doesn’t have an enormous amount of support because he is informative.. he has it because he is entertaining.
Well, he's only entertaining to a very specific audience. I don't KNOW Trudeau, frankly I don't like ANY politician. But for POLICIES Trudeau is head and shoulders above POllievre, who so far hasn't had one that I can remotely relate to. You DO know the NRA is pouring money into the conservatives right? Thats why this crazy shit keeps coming up. Most canadians would like NO guns of any kinds, hell even the hunters I know use bows because guns are just no challenge in hunting.
But the most obvious reason to dislike Trudeau is bailing on electoral reform. He shoudln't even BE Prime Minister. But when the party that got shafted by that the most NEVER talks about it, then you know things are messed up bad.
The sad thing is that now the ONLY hope for electoral reform is IF Pollievre gets way more votes, but fewer seats like last time, then I think conservative VOTERS will lose it. I was actually hoping for protest after the last two elections, maybe would have even joined it, but it didn't happen.

Hate to say this but Trudeau and Poilievre have way more in common than they want to admit - they're both moderate centralists but they're trying to get the votes from the dissatisfied people further to the left or right - but they aren't really going to make real changes to the establishment which they belong to. Without a viable third party, we'll keep seeing this script repeat with a different cast.
With that being said, I still hope there's a new government to undo the corruption under Trudeau - and I bet eight years later I will wish for the Liberals to come clean up the mess again - and don't get me wrong, Canada's one of the least corrupted countries in the world - probably only behind some small countries in the EU.

Im from the United States of America, and I have cousins that live in Canada. Both are Beautiful nations. Even my cousins have mentioned how sad it is how far left socialism has become and political incorrectness and fake news etc. And damn staight how sad over here too.
