It's upsetting how the Scratch discover page doesn't show high quality projects like these. The people who work this hard should deserve more attention. Awesome video!

its because new scratchers or kids, when they see that on the homepage or discover page, they will be “😮 how did they make this?” and get confused, so scratch shows simple projects, so the new scratchers will chill, but not until they see the complex games

I think appel is actually dutch, I come from the netherlands, and griffpatch says in the instructions something about planet "appelmoeshapje" wich is dutch (appel is also the dutch spelling of apple)

Yea, I’d even argue that chirpy is the best platform game in all of scratch. Shame it didn’t get more attention due to playability.

Appel really could go on the app store but there are a few bugs that need to be fixed.
Like 0 freezing the game.
@@notthatntg yes! That doesn't freeze the game, it goes into replay mode. Try pausing it after the game "freezes". And, when you preview your new level in the editor and press P to pause it, there's a bug. And the particles don't delete when you Q+R the level. And if you pause when Appel does that flash thingy after dying and go to the Main Menu, only Appel's stencil appears on the Front Page level.

Infinate bunner was a game from the raspberry pie! (raspberry pie is a computer) but on the raspberry pi 4 infinate bunner was a game preloaded on it!
