In Washington DC, front row in front of Chas, Eric was tough - right in that mic screaming 'IT'S MY LIFE! YOU CAN'T TELL ME! IT'S MYY LIFE!!' The original punk band- w/o being stupid & idiots trying too hard, The original guys w/Zoot Money, Steve Grant (& anybody else?). The encore was the 5 doing House & it was all just great. Eric wearing the Sweatshirt w/a (🔴- Japanese flag), no sleeves at the WAX MUSEUM (now it's a parking lot). 🐄💨
- It's Too Late - Melt Down - Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood - My Favourite Enemy - Trying To Get To You - I'm Crying - Bring It On Home To Me - Oh Lucky Man - House of the Rising Sun - We Gotta Get Out Of This Place
For a basic reason. I'm not hearing a lot of tough stuff in Eric's Solo or Reunion material - with the smooth chic singers (Ohh-the night!-& repeat) sad. He did a great job with that movie STAND UP (or 'Back' maybe) but its catch phrase throughout the film , which was sort of autobiographical, was "When you're dead- you're great!" bitterly said by the character he was playing. Usually it's a bad sign when a Man's Band brings on too much product- ion incldg the 3 funky chick singers. Other than Annie Peacock & Katie Kissoon, or, Clydie King & Vanetta Fields on different things that aren't over done- it doesn't help; it ends up being too busy & polished to a bad point where it makes one feel like a fool to sing along, hum the tune. The Night! LoL. I'd rather have heard keys or 6 strings on a guitar. Lou Reed - "& the colored girls go: do, da-do dah-do, do dah-do...
Is there any family resemblance to Eric? JUST ASKIN' (people do cross paths in... The Night!). Seriously, the best venue for Audio- Video in DC (a former Wax Museum & where I saw that '83 Reunion among other greats: Dave Mason, Albert Collins, Al Stewart, NICKSILVER {10-4-83}, THE BAND's Reunion shows on the first parts of their reborn Life w/The Cate Brothers Band- opening for & then backing them, The Roches, Son Seals, Jorma Kaukonen, Richie Havens, Roger McGuinn, David Crosby Band, & so many more & different Artists that come to an address of concrete for you to enter & Park it! The class of DC[👍My Nation's Capital City- 🐄💨 Vote!]
Saw The Animals in '83 at Universal Studios. I've been to hundreds of shows, including forty Stones concerts, but the Animals concert was the best of them all.
This concert was awesome. I love Eric. He is one of the best.!! ❤️❤️❤️🦋
Without doubt, one of my top ten gigs of all time. What a night.
Eric's voice is in fine fettle. Amazing, he and Price are the Animals but nice to see the complete band, with help.
I remember seeing (and taping) this the day it was broadcast! Great concert.
Thats cool.!! I never saw this. Was it on TV back in the day..?
They all performed to perfection!
❤ qué concierto tan bonito con una voz hermosa te hace 40 años fue un año maravilloso.mi.hija. nació

I saw this tour in NY at Miller Concert Series at a Pier on the Hudson River. Great concert, home from college and hanging with really good friends.

Saw this tour in November 1983 at Philadelphia’s Tower Theatre Great show!
I was down at the Chestnut Cabaret that night catching the Searchers. They made a crack about all their fans catching the Animals that night.
First time to see it. Thanks!
Great band's the Animal,'s and Eric Burdon
Love the Animals--I believe Hilton sadly passed on to Rock-n-Roll Heaven today.
😢😢😢
Oddly.. "The Night", their single release they were promoting and touring on at the time was not in this broadcast. #oldtyedyeguy

What the song list

Forty Stones concerts! Good grief they don't half milk it, you've seen Keith develop all the way into a Smurf! soon be 50 no doubt.
@@seltaeb3302 43 shows total as of today, waiting for a tour of America later this year. The last three were two in LA and one in Minneapolis.
Маюсь!@!!!!
Volume was too low, but otherwise great.
Sounds fine, try your volume control which can go up to 11.
The Animals.........with extras......so not the "original' Animals...
Burdon sounding a lot like Alice Cooper at times here.
Dreadful.
