Finished reading the book today and I really loved it. Beautifully written and I wish I could keep reading it forever. The movie looks well made as well but seeing the comments below, it's prob gonna be hard to find. Thanks for posting this clip! It looks like the film stays very true to the book.

I have read this book, by Rohinton Mistry. It's an excellent book, about Gustad Noble and his family.
I wish I could get this on region 2 dvd - I love Rohinton Mistry and I'd love to see this... don't suppose anyone has any idea where I could see it?

It is very difficult to locate; I have a copy of this film on VHS; you can obtain the DVD version on Amazon, from third party sources, for about eighty dollars...
ugh...cant find it on amazon or to download anywhere! i need to watch it :(
@ddtoots - I watched like 20 minutes of it in class (I was absent the first day where they watched 30 minutes) but it is really good, better than the book. LOL AT TEHMUL in the movie, also it is really funny :P.
Did they showed the tehmul on top of doll part in class?
