People who hate caste politics so much and despise social justice. I always wonder if they ever realise that BJP and Congress never did anything to uplift the under privileged social classes.
Giving India its first Muslim or Dalit President is just tokenism, it never helped their cause even one bit.
P.S. - I am not from a underprivileged group but I see my privilege quite well.
What a honest person. I was very young but I always find him a character from Russian Classics. A talented person, is giver of all he had, honest in deeds and acts, understood the reality of the ground, a true believer of social justice, at the receiving end of extreme hate and that all he could easily avoided by not going into people's politices and enjoined his life with wealth and kingdom.

mikejohn1978 He was from an Upper Caste, he was a Rajput. Our only issue is that it’s not a foresighted decision. Today there are far worse conditions of many of upper castes people. Not all are well off and frankly no one has time to treat lower castes badly. It’s the politics which spews venom and causes hatred between people. I’m a Rajput and I’ve never treated anyone badly, neither have I seen my elders behaving badly towards anyone. I did observe untouchability towards certain lower castes which were doing unhygienic work in my village though . I guess Indian society wasn’t educated and there were not means of sanitization and superstition were rampant. In history of India we can observe that lots of people died because of Cholera and various diseases. So, such circumstances may’ve lead to such bad beliefs and untouchability and later it became part of people’s behaviour. I’ve not seen untouchability towards many of other lower castes and tribes. In short, I’ve nothing against any caste and never had. If anything my family had helped lots of people and was always ready. But nowadays society is divided and politicians are Winning and doing divide and rule so they don’t have to explain anything. Also, I find reservation wrong, because it’s against India’s belief of Purushartha and even Darwin law of nature, Survival of fittest. Instead, government should ensure better education and health atmosphere where all can progress and compete. Otherwise lots of my friends have moved to US and are getting much better life and wages and India is losing raw material of growth. Lots of countries had far worse circumstances than India and they’re now well off.
Also, situation has become so worse that government doesn’t even have jobs, so if they even give 100% reservation what is the use of it to anyone if there aren’t much jobs.
