I said the very same thing when I first heard this! I said to my wife this takes me back to the mid '80s metal and what was listening to then in my mid teens and I too was heavy into Testament. I love it!

You're not wrong. This whole album is old school thrash and 90's metal/grunge mixed with the 60s/70s stuff.
