    He so right, 'Black Veils of Melancholy' was a way too obvious attempt at trying to get lightning to strike twice and (deservedly) failed miserably. Status Quo are considered a one-hit wonder in the US and yet they are the most charted band of all time in the UK (as in the most songs of any band to make the UK charts). Go figure.

    Dommage je suis pas bilingue et je lis les commentaires qui sont traduis en français j'ai eût l'occasion de les voir en France et c'était mon chouchou préféré à chaque anniversaire de son décès j'ai une pensée pour lui !

    Rick always had a better recollection of Quo, Rossi quite happy to of forget the 70s Quo ,he prefers the cheesy rubbish they have churned out since 1981.

    Of course, Larry Levene created the phasing sound accidentally when he engineered THE BIG HURT at Western Recorders in 1959. Miss Toni Fisher had a big hit with the first phasing ever heard on a recording.
