That tug should last another 60 years! What a great find and wonderful addition to your fleet! So glad to see another chapter in your boating life. Stay well and stay safe!
I’ve enjoyed your posts since your first boat. I like your new tug boat the best of your fleet. The mechanics are awesome. I look forward to watching you fix it up. I enjoy your calm voice in your descriptions and wish you fair winds and high tides.
G'day Crew,,, Mega cool episode, Just love the new boat ,lots of potential. Your channel has so much scope for content with the fleet growing with almost every vid . Respect...!
I saw this guy spray his aluminum boat on the inside with this product used in the bed of American pickup trucks . It’s a rubberized bed liner about 3 to 4 mm thick it did a amazing job eliminating vibrations and noise also it insulated the boat and helped with condensation, there are quite a few brands. Also it is chemical and oil proof
Another great video, thank you. When you're working on something you love, it's important to work on it when you want to work on it. Whatever you do, you manage to influence others into either getting a boat or getting on with the one that they have, speaking for myself there! The new guy is doing well and will also save time constantly setting up the camera. Looking forward to the next one.
I absolutely love your channel, between you and Expedition evans you are fueling my desire to buy and live/repair a boat. also this boat is literally the definition of "dont make them like they used to"
The wooden deck on your tug boat could use some TLC! A good sanding and refinish with a good quality varnish and it would look great. That tug boat was a great find and I bet the price was very good as well. Enjoy.
We may have to do a intervention on him if he keeps buying boats.🤣My man bought a single boat and hasn't stopped since. But that tugboat is sick, that's an amazing find and buy, can't wait to see what he does with it.
That looks like a very good buy, I enjoyed the tour of the inside and I like her hull-shape too. There is however one little thing you'll have to change in your story about the engine starting at 20:12 you say that it's advised to turn the camshaft, but with the steel bar in the flywheel you are turning the CRANKSHAFT, of course when the crankshaft is turning the camshaft is turning too, but you didn't turn the camshaft with the steel bar. I wish you much pleasure with your new addition to the fleet. All the very best, and success, Peter.
Hi from Russia. Glad that You got a new project with new boat. It seems that it has not so much space inside, but much bigger open space outside. Let's say, You got an armored slow-moving open terrace. If compare with cars, Your first boat was like VW transporter bus. The last one is like Mercedes Unimog, isn't it?
Brilliant lil Tug boat there. Amazing people don,t know what's out there what a find. All those lil features like viewing windows etc. Nice job on the forward cabin. Keep at it now.;0)
Hello there. Thanks for a nice section in your ongoing work, I love your new boat with old technology that really works, when I had my steel boat it was built in 1946 for the Navy, it had similar controls for steering throttle and rudder and everything was massively built to last forever, it's so nice to see your projects take shape and know that it will last long into the future 😄 looking forward to Next video. Take care. 👍
I sailed myself with two boats that had a "Kromhout" engine. The ferry in Spakenburg. With a "Kromhout" 1 cylinder. And "de Dinkel" from Amsterdam. With a 2 cylinder "Kromhout". The "Dink". Now in the Maritime Museum in Amsterdam. And the 2 cylinder "Kromhout" can be seen inside. I was allowed to sail with the "Dinkel ". In 1995, with the world Jamboree Zeewolde. Peter, was already unable to handle the tug alone. Gerben T, Spakenburg, The Netherlands.
Nice size for solo handling with some practice. Another project to keep you going. Your woodworking tips as always very useful. Pleasant surprise to see Bata Beag on your stream. Sadly we wont be able to complete the project and someone else will have to finish her. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
At 10mins in it looks like you're using a brad point drill bit to try drill metal. You will have a lot moire luck with drill bits designed for penetrating steel.
OMG that new tug you purchased (ie stole) is freaking fantastic!!! I bet it has a very deep history. You could get a side gig helping tow people with broke down boats!!!!
I so jelly about the new tug boat. I would rebuild that engine. 915 liters the hemi is only 5.7 liters. JUst give you some perspective. Happy for you brother. Take me on a journey with you.
Just doing some work on my aluminium narrow boat including the internal walls. What are the insulation panels you are using please. Love your channel so many good ides and so well presented.
That piano music was brutal my friend absolutely annoying a heck but I have to admit that tug boat is beautiful I've fallen in love with it. I can see why you bought it, it's pretty dern cool.
Nice, this is "My first Boat" I like, but I was curious about insulation between the hull and the board wall you put on? Your new Tug is nice, I like it. Thanks m8
I look forward to the channel being renamed "MY FIRST FLEET"
Beat my by an hour. I had the same thought!
more like my first horde
Yes, it is A Fleet... good luck with it...!

“My First 37 Boats”

your editing, and the emotions you express about your subject is captivating. always look foward to your next video. cheers
Me too
REALLY LIKE THE LITTLE TUG. YES, YOU HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF PATIENCE WITH THE CABIN BUILD. LOOKING GOOD.
Very enjoyable and entertaining video. Congratz with the new boat!
I wonder if there is a 12 step program to deal with boat addiction?
He is missing the platform boat too.
I'm thinking with this man it may require a lot more than 12 steps. Just think if he found a cheap submarine at the auction.
I’ve enjoyed your posts since your first boat. I like your new tug boat the best of your fleet. The mechanics are awesome. I look forward to watching you fix it up. I enjoy your calm voice in your descriptions and wish you fair winds and high tides.
Hope to see more frequent videos. I love what you're doing and only wish I had the time to do the same.... it's awesome. Keep it up.
You are becoming a shipwright with a very broad skillset, steelwork/welding, woodwork and shipcarpentry. Love to watch your videos!
G'day Crew,,,
Mega cool episode,
Just love the new boat ,lots of potential.

Great update and superb story telling. I think you need to employ a few more skippers to enable you to move your fleet around.😉👍
Great Job getting the inside of ur first boat walls looking good. congrats on ur newest 1966 German Tug Boat..
I missed out on a Swedish Lifeboat. Air cooled V12 Duetz engine. Great wee tug.
I absolutely love your channel, between you and Expedition evans you are fueling my desire to buy and live/repair a boat. also this boat is literally the definition of "dont make them like they used to"
Great little tug boat.
Love the tug boat. I could live on it. Put a diesel heater in etc :)
Wonderful workmanship !! Enjoyed the longer video of your progress...
Apologies if this has already been answered, but what became of the floating dock?
You are a very talented person and you always understate how high a standard of work you do with your builds love it from fan in Australia 🇦🇺

Going from my first boat to my first navy. Lol. Love the channel!
There is no need to put spacers on the ends of the boards. Wood does not expand lengthwise. It will only expand across the grain.
We may have to do a intervention on him if he keeps buying boats.🤣My man bought a single boat and hasn't stopped since. But that tugboat is sick, that's an amazing find and buy, can't wait to see what he does with it.
Just waiting for your video, thanks for the huge update
Love your video's Mr Ber Lin my friend. Your fleet of many boats is indeed Impressive. Ever you sail to the East Coast of America let me know.

Thanks for sharing your sea life, its very stimulating to listen your well structured and soothing voice.
OMG that new tug you purchased (ie stole) is freaking fantastic!!! I bet it has a very deep history. You could get a side gig helping tow people with broke down boats!!!!

Absolut großartig! 👍
Miss you boy!
Nice to know you okay 😊😊😊😊
Hope you are sealing the end grains of the timber planks ? Using the timber you are, requires a lot of sealing and oiling etc to fight rot.
Good informative video - well done!! John

I would move to your new boat , or room. Could be refurbished over time while living on it
Love your narration
Well intended punches is not very PC.
I love it
Good choice to paint the wood. I agree that the natural wood look isn't a favourite.
5k for that Tug is the bargain of a lifetime. Congrats!
gotta love that old time German engineering. that tug is a damned cool piece of machinery..
You are now a tug boat captain.
Yeeeeeee3ooooooooooow
Amen
Congratulations.

Paul from DownUnder 🇦🇺
Now u can honestly call yourself an Admiral!
Nice, this is "My first Boat" I like, but I was curious about insulation between the hull and the board wall you put on? Your new Tug is nice, I like it. Thanks m8
i love your first boat.
I love that tugboat! You should call yourself Commodore Kristian now haha
My first boat has become my first fleet :)
You need a digital angle finder, and a profile/contour gauge. It’ll cut down your template need.
That tugboat is a real beauty :)
good work. lovely little tug
Wish you would start on the barge boat, think it will give you the most room.
2 boats with floating house bunker in the middle love it ❤
Endorse Anker
love the item about the Anker 767 - you should ask them to sponsor you ?
