The trick with beds is to rest, heal, hop off, rest again. Just lying there in a battle can be pretty slow when healing, by repeating it, it nearly halves that time
I think this is a huge oversight in the design of the beds lol - I figured it out the first time i used a bed
Came here to say this. But yeah it takes about 2 seconds for the first heal, then it takes longer if you stay on. I'm waiting to hear that they patched it.
Yeah. I wonder if they'll patch that out?
@@lozD83 I didn't know about the trick, but it doesn't seem intentional. They did patch out multiple item dupes in TotK, but those were a lot more game breaking than this. I don't really expect them to patch this one out, but who knows?
I’m already at lanaryu dungeon and never noticed bed can be used to heal 😂 always copped with drinks
I petition for Zeltik to release the full version of "Bed Echoes"
If this comments get 1K like, will you do it?
Lmao, sure. I think I'm pretty safe with 1k! I'm not pinning this comment either, hopefully it gets buried >:)
ENGAGE! Let’s not have this comment be buried!!

1:36 this is gonna be playing in my head as I play this game now. Cheers man.
Thank you so much!!
1:36 a reference to one of my favs in a video about one of my faves-INCEPTION
Another bed tip: One you have restored a heart get out of the bed and back in you will heal faster
I almost never see a video that was released less than a minute ago! Good job for making this without spoilers!
Glad to have discovered everything mentioned here on my own. Useful stuff though!
Doesn't the game release tomorrow?
@@lpnp9477 officially ;)
@@lpnp9477 no, today in europe at least !
7:56 “She says…” Boundary Break? You can’t hide. I see what you did there.
clever!
They should've just added a favorite system for the echos so you can favorite specific ones as well so theres a small limited number of slots like we had for auto build in totk. Would've made sense imho.
I don't know why so many people say this when it's just not the solution. It goes against the spirit of the game, discouraging exploring your variety of echoes instead of focusing on making it easy to reach any echo, any time. If you want to stick with a few favorite echoes you use all the time, Most Used is right there
@@nocomment9603 Thats not the point. What if you need an echo for specific things once in a while not not exceedingly frequently and literally its all the way far deep in the deep recesses? Having a favorite list would fix it to bring it up when needed instead of having to pan through the entire list just to find it again.
Unfortunately with a huge library of things they probably couldn't because its not an easy thing to fix with how many there are just like with TOTK. The only easier solution would be favorites + allowing binding of echos to different buttons. Like the old days of having multiple items to the keys in older zelda games.
@@gundamwarrior exactly lol
@@gundamwarrior That's why I said they needed to work on making it easy to select any echo (or fuse item in TotK) any time.
If you use something once in a while not exceedingly frequently that's literally not a favorite.
Any of the 100+ echoes could meet the definition you just laid out, and the answer is not every now and then going into the menu to manage a list of specific items hoping you're planning for the right eventuality.
And then because they have to optimize for the echoes you do want to switch between all the time, you'd still have the problem that when you bring up the echoes those "favorites" are not the default and you still have to take time to switch to it.
One thing I've found really useful is having a crow or two just follow me as I'm walking. They scatter rupees when they first hit an enemy so it's great for a wallet boost in the early game when there's smaller monsters around.
I didn't expect to find a 'po-ta-toes' reference in a Zelda tips video lol
great video
👍
"Beds are the answer." Ah, so like when TotK came out and everyone was jsut building really long bridges.
When will part 3 of the classic enemies reimagined series release? I was also thinking that maybe you should try to contact Nintendo and have them use your ideas for classic Zelda enemy redesigns that you showed off in them in a potential third open-world Zelda game.
BED ECH-OES: Spawn them, stack them, have a little snooze 😂
Thank you for the tips! I appreciate the no spoilers here, since I haven't played it yet. (I usually play later in the day, so I'm trying to avoid them😊)
I've only finished the intro so far, but what an incredible intro! Can't wait for you to get into Ganon's line when he first sees Link.
This was great, thank you you!
Just got my game in the post. I am so excited to play but will watch this first.
Enjoy it! It's really great!
Can't wait for the intricate overview detailing the signpost's hidden uses throughout the game.
Ha ha which uses?

WILL start playing this afternoon with my Kid! Will be our 3rd Zelda game.. And my 4th since Ocarina of time back in the 90s!!!
This game looks nuts. Zelda being able to just casually walk on top of trees is incredible lol. Can't wait to dive into it later today!
5:20 also when you click on R3 (analog stick) you can access to a more top dowm view. :)
You can also hold the left shoulder button to bring up the quick menu, which means its easier to use the left analog stick to select echoes if you're not a fan of using the right stick to scroll that menu.
Hey, where have you already found the EoW soundtrack? I neeeeeed this. Is it online, I’m supposing?
Damn, I'm 3 dungeons deep just starting my fourth and STILL don't have the peahat echo, glad this video included a location for it. Many thanks, also I watch all your videos, love your channel, idk why I haven't subscribed but I'm about to.
Long live Zeltik!
Explore some,dont just rush lol.
i neeeed this game but have to wait a month
Was the bed echo jingle a Lord of the Rings reference? 😂 "Boil em mash em stick em in a stew"
What's taters, precious?
Woohoo it's finally here!
new zelda = life is good again
"It needs ekkers."
"What's 'ekkers', Precious?"
"Bed. Ech. Oes. Spawn 'em, stack 'em, take a little snooze."
Found this trick while playing last night: evidently, Zelda moves faster when spinning, which I used to beat the running Gerudo.
"Zed" has always made me lol... roughly 24/26 letters are pronounced the same... H and Z just got a bit of a twist
im currently trying to explore the map section by section based on the dotted lines on the map. useful.
Wanted correct a fact, the camera movement isn't a first for the Top-down style of games in series. The d-pad for "A Link Between Worlds" works in the same function as the right joy-stick.
I'm in the first dungeon and I totally missed the peahat. I need to go get that. I'm just throwing rocks at enemies(sometimes I use enemy echos)
I‘m perfectly happy with the "last used" sort. That will automatically align all echos I‘m using in the current area to the left, so if I‘m in a lake area, sure, I gotta find my fishies first, but once I do, they‘re all quickly available. Then I enter a room with lots of cobwebs, so I search my fire slime and BAM, it’s right there, too. More useful than Most Used, too, as you‘ll unlock better echos and/or better ways to combine them, so your used echos will change a lot throughout the game which makes it so "Most Used" takes some time to catch up each time.
I wish they would just release a normal Zelda game again but it feels nice to finally play a Zelda game with a more traditional structure
I beat Suthorn Ruins without Peahat, but got it right afterwards for a sidequest. Peahat and Darknut are my current combat MVPs. Bed bridges are also my go to method for reaching higher places. I spent some time exploring the map and I'll probably finish the Gerudo dungeon at some point later today. I'm having a blast with this game.
Just wrapped up the first dungeon and all I can say is that Peahat is more like MVP-eahat. There's very few enemies (so far) that it struggles with, so it seems to almost make early game too easy.
Can we use the Tri-Rod to duplicate money? 😂
Use R1 as dodge and movement at all times. GG. Also use echoes for just 1 attack and then respawn since they spawn with attack animation.
“Extensively”?
Oh hell, yes! Lore and theories incoming. I especially would like one about a certain aquatic mammalian behemoth. This game showed a side of him that I did not expect.
You didn't mention that if you hold the right stick in it'll move the camera directly above Zelda's head so you can see more clearly what might be behind objects.
I beat the temple without the Peehat echo, but because I saw your previous video, ,I went to go look for it. I didn't think of picking them up to fly. I realized last night that I could just reverse bind with my echoes.
I literally can't wait to play this game (along with the other games that i unfortunately wasnt able to buy)
I like the sandbox kinda style but I dont think I'll buy it, since the big open world games like botw or totk captured my heart already❤
Really enjoyed this and appreciate the tips without any spoilers. Seeing Zelda walk on trees really looks like your breaking the game as am so used to trees in top down Zelda games acting as barriers.
I love this game. Return to form classic Zelda. Been mixing different smoothies to see how many i can make. So far i mad a few powerful ones. This is basically a top down botw with actual dungeons
The camera panning isn't new to EoW, ALBW did this as well with the D-Pad
Here to give the view and the like only because I wanna play as blind as possible! See ya!
I didn't really find combat slow at all. Slower than using a sword?... yes because this is more a tactics game. But not that slow. Early on you can throw rocks t kill enemies that are quicker than using gels. I only spent seconds on any of the minor enemies I fought. Even the bosses went down in a minute or two. From a lot of negativity I've seen you'd think people were waiting for paint to dry.
Are we getting a story explained video soon? 👀
This Princess Zelda will be an interesting contender in tier lists
This is an easy game so I use the beds to heal outside of combat. Haven't needed to use my fairy or other healing items (in combat) yet, even multiple hours in. Those beds are a literal life saver. :)
Me sitting here who just got the game and is like “no one’s going to have a video out ye-“ zeltik has a new video 😂
I'll be waiting for your full review of the game!
This games a charming masterpiece ❤

How much is this game
I got it at Walmart for like $64 something after tax
It's a Nintendo game lol
the same as every other mainstream Nintendo game $79.99 in Canada
$59.99 in US... not sure how much they cost elsewhere
@@Baysidemom2 60 😭😭
50 if you buy an online voucher. But those are 100 for a purchase of two games
I'm so dumb, I thought this came out tomorrow 🤦🏻♀️ In my defense I'm in bed with the flu...hmm maybe I can convince my husband to pick it up for me on the way home 😂
Hope you feel better soon
@@Zenithal1843 thank you! just got my hands on the game so at least now I'll be entertained while I cough my lungs out lol
Any tips fixing 30-60 FPS stutters? -_- Am I the only one that getting eye strain on heavy populated areas, like towns, villages? How is it even possible the Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom runs at a better framerate? These devs had few years to fix the stuttering from previous title, remake, to this one.
Yeah the frame rate really takes a hit in the overworld. It's fine in dungeons and caves. Hopefully a patch might iron it out a bit?
I've had minor slowdowns, I've heard handheld runs better? Im not sure. Also depends on how old your switch is maybe.
I want to play this game really badly but $60 is steep
Do it, its worth it 100%
try living in Canada $79.99 plus tax comes to $90 and change

Your ideas are always so creative and interesting. Thank you for your hard work!☯️🤸😎
I'm sure it'll be fun but damn the art style repulses me as much as it did in 2019
I literally own every single zelda game even zeldas adventure but for some reason I'm not even interested in this in the slightest, idk why, i'm scared please help.
Just buy the game dude, trust me (a nobody who doesn't own every zelda game except for totk unfortunately) it'll be worth your time
It's a Zelda game so it'll probably be fun to those who like Zelda games. If you're like me, the art style is a turn off but just remember, puzzles make the game.
@@lpnp9477 and hard dungeons make it better (I like hard stuff ok? It's better then everything being easier then a math question that's not even that hard)
