Good review Lave. This series has caused a lot of vitriolic backlash because it deviates from Gene Roddenbery's utopian ideal of humanity. But I'm okay with that alteration since I feel this is a more likely accurate depiction of human nature several hundred years hence. So yeah, I'm liking it so far.
