Snapping your leg and still completing the sack is legendary. Prayers for Hutch.
Didnt see the play but was wondering did he still get the sack. It is legendary. 👍🏾
Bro he already had him wrapped up 😂 wtf you talking about kid
Bro, why were they even playing Hutchinson when they were up 34 to 6? That's on Detroit!
It was still early! Wtf u talking about?? Casuals are hilarious @@edwardgaines6561

Praying for Hutch, man. He’s Michigan born and raised and is the part of the heart and soul of our team. Extremely genuine guy and an absolute DAWG on the field. Prayers for Hutch! 🙏💙🦁
Prayers from the UP 💙🙏🙏🙏
@jwahoski6248 Guy is a steroid user. When someone caught steroids in his room, he blamed his roommate. Harbaugh would repeatly test Hutchinson's roommate, while covering for Hutchinson. Dude got hooked on them after his first major injury back in Michigan. I don't feel for him at all. His dad pushed for all this cause he never made the NFL because of his injury back in the day.
@@RolaAddict Man, shut up.
Why’d I hear the fresh prince theme song at the start of your sentence
Tibias not a bad fracture.
He wont play unless the Playoffs if they make it
As a Lions fan, I have to thank you for the speedy analysis of what happened. This sucks. I'd give up the win to have him back.
Lions fan here, same.
My heart sank, just when we out at our most high, this happens. Id lose this and next couple games to have him healthy 💔
You don't have to say "as a lions fan" . its assumed that mainly lions fans will watch thjs.
Fuuuuck this is supposed to be our superbowl year! Son of a bitch. Our d line is deep but you can't replace hutch. This is really going to hurt. If we still accomplish enough to get to the superbowl I'll be sad to see hutch have to miss out
Lifelong lions fan here, and ditto! As bad as I wanted to whoop Dallas, I'll take a L over hutch getting hurt like this anyday 😪
This video is absolutely fascinating. The injury occurred not more than an hour ago! Since then, Dr. Brian put together a professional explanation video with very helpful graphics. The editing of the footage is excellent. Great job Doc - you're true to your oath!
His speed is astounding. I swear he has an injury bat signal or something
He's made a video for every player and every type of injury combination.
That way he just pushes out the video
@@brianwenzel912The time that would take would be literally impossible. It’s far more likely that he’s an expert who is alerted to injuries and has a good team around him, including a great editor. In fact I will guarantee that this is the case, rather than your retarded take.
And he got a sponsor for the video 😅
He was uploading this video WHILE the ref was blowing the play dead. Truth
As soon as I saw the notification from the NFL app about it, I started anticipating the doc to upload.
I’m actually watching Redzone on recording and paused it after that play to check Dr Sutterers review.
damn right

When Dr Brian calls an injury “Horrific” you know it’s really fckin bad. God Bless🙏 Hutch he’s such a great dude obviously one of the best players in the NFL and a truly terrific ambassador for the game. Hope he heals up soon and can get back to his dominant play asap.
*if anyone’s confused the initial video title was “Aidan Hutchinson Horrific Injury”
It's not that bad. He'll be back for the playoffs. 12 weeks is only week 17. He'll be good for playoffs

Hutch was in the running for Defensive Player of the Year, such a great nice Guy. He drives by his old high school every day to go to the practice facility.
hopefully he can come back as a DPOY

Shout out to the best NFC North ever. I’m a DET fan and I’d hate to see a star go down on MIN. Obv when they play I’ll be rooting for DET hard, but even when they play each other in no universe would I ever root on something like this. In no universe would I be happy about something like this. That’s not cool, at all. Thanks for showing some class.
Thank you!
Hate these injuries. Thanks Dr Brian.
I had to watch this in slo-mo THREE times before I could even notice what happened. Bro got the Anderson Silva express package. And STILL got the sack. He’s literally the greatest DL to play the game. Prayers for a speedy recovery. We need this man in the league.
As a Buckeye I fucking Hate seeing this.DONT wish any player to get hurt that’s tough hopefully he bounces back
From a Vikings fan, great player, hoping for a full recovery.
All around classy video, explanation, not showing the actual injury, and the comments. Really refreshing. Still brutal as a lifelong Lions/UoM fan, Hutch is such a massive part of the team AND the community. He embraced this city and plays his heart out every game. I really thought he’d win DPOY this year. I just hope he gets back to 100% for next season, and we see him on the sideline in the next x weeks cheering on his teammates. I despise seeing this for any player, regardless of whether it’s a rival team or not. Always rooting especially for the young guys. Super unfortunate. Heal up! Thanks Doc.
Thank you for not showing the graphic footage of the injury. Thank you also for, as always, giving prompt, understandable explanations of the mechanism of injury and what happens next for treatment, recovery, etc. Football is a difficult physical game, and it’s so scary when a strong young player falls and is obviously in tremendous pain. Based on his likely prognosis, I’m hopeful for the player’s full recovery! I’m sure fans, players, and many more will be pulling for him and sending good wishes. Again, thanks for quick and thorough information!
Damn he was making a great case for DPOY. Wishing a speedy recovery
I may be a Cowboys fan but a injury like this I wouldn't want this to happen to any player especially one like Aiden
You can see his face immediately go blank. God this must of hurt. Packer nation and I are praying for a speedy recovery bro!
I loved watching Hutch play for the Wolverines and he's my favorite part of the Lion's team. I hope he heals as expected and his recovery isn't rushed.
Man hutchinson im so sorry this happened man u r a true worrior and i know u r gonna be fustrated thst u have to watch this season instead of play just focus on your recovery man and still b that leader for our lions u have the heart of a lion man much love
He really wasted no time in uploading this video

He’ll be back. This isn’t a career ender. As a niners fan, we lived it with BY and he came back and played right into the HOF.
Alex Smith had a compound fracture with post op infection that almost cost him his leg in his last 30s and he played again
@@ArdyrezvAlex smith doesn’t anywhere near as dependent on his legs though, so not really relevant.
@@CM-so1cf fair point I guess. Just remember Aaron Donald riding his back the first game back form the broken leg and I was like damn they make em strong now
As a Packers fan very tough to see, hope to see his injury improve faster than expected
I broke my shin. Took about a year for it to feel okay, and nowadays it's normal aside from an occasional popping sound. I wish him a speedy recovery and maybe with his multimillion dollar health science doctors he can recover faster than the average person
If you don’t mind me asking… where tf does the popping sound come from? Like… your shin bones don’t really move outside of the ankle and the knee connections so, like do you know what the popping is?
Did you have a cast or metal rod? I got shot in the back of the leg below the knee and it shattered my shin bones. I had to get metal rod inserted. My leg still feels weird but I favored my leg for years. My doctor told me not to favor my leg but I did.
@randyjames4718 i shattered both my bones as well and i had plates put in, took me 9 months to walk normally again, hope your legs feels better homie
@@iitstre_4550 it's either a tendon or lower front tibia near where it connects with the ankle. When I broke mine it was just the tibia and not the fibula fortunately and it basically acted as a natural brace. It's going to be a worrisome spot for Hutch for at least 2 years as I can't imagine putting the immense pressure required of his actions or getting hit in the legs will be good.
ruclips.net/video/586qaVvgQzM/видео.html
Same thing happened to me except mine was a compound, torsion fracture. I played football for 8 years and it was the stairs that beat me. I had surgery the morning after. I didn’t put pressure on it for 4 months. Leaning how to walk again was a trip. I tore the ligaments in my other leg in the patella. Surgery again. Learn how to walk again again. I certainly can’t run very well anymore. I’m just glad I still walk. Thank you Dr. Brennan and Dr. Reeves.
You fell down the stairs? My shin was shattered from point blank 9mm(mac11). I had to get titanium rod inserted. Thank god I had no infection. The bullet still in my calf. The doctor said 80% of the time gunshot wounds get infected because bullets are usually dirty asl.
Wow sorry to hear that man I’ve had a fractured lower ankle for like 10 months FINALLY getting surgery in December weight-bearing injuries suck so much. Walking and running is truly a privilege.
Get back out there soon, Hutch! Praying for you brother. Not a Lions fan, just appreciate the greatness you bring to the game. You'll be missed, brother

Thank you so much for telling us what to be expecting. I love Hutch and I hate to see injuries of any kind for any player. I’m a Niners fan and I’ve always been impressed with him not only for his talent, but his mind and spirit as well. 🙏
Best wishes to Hutch, praying for you bud. I had a similar injury in 2010, open fibula+tibia fracture, additional 3 ankle fractures and all ligements torn except the achilles. Took me about a year+3months, 4 surgeries and a lot of physio to get back on the pitch.
WOW!!!!……😳😳😳…….Can you 100% fully recover from all of those injuries?
@@TheGobblersGetBack Absolutely, they put a lot of metal in your leg at first to stabilize everything and then take it out in stages, at least that is how it was in my case. Once everything grows back together, it is mainly about regaining flexibility and rebuilding the muscle you lost in that leg, which is a lot, my leg was less than half the seize afterwards. After nine months of surgeries and crutches and another 6 months of physio, my leg was 95% back to what it was before, it still tires a bit easier, but i only feel that the day after an intense exercise.
That scares the hell out of me.
I had the titanium rod in my shin from a gunshot wound. Everyone thinks ppl get shot in the leg and just get patched up and go about their business. They never think about what happens when a bullet hits any one of your bones. My healing took about full year but it was the mental part that kept me down. I babied and favored my leg when the doctor specifically told me not to. It was easier said then done. You body automatically favors the injured body part
@@randyjames4718 Yeah man, i can totally relate. Especially after you lost all that muscle in your leg it feels just not right walking on it. Hope your leg is good now man, all the best.
Hope he has a speedy recovery, leg injuries always look awful 😞
Thanks for being both clear and respectful, by not showing the actual break. Hoping for a full recovery.
Praying for Aidan, for a quick healing and recovery. Thank you for the slow-mo explanation, you are the only doc doing this. Whip kick right on the tibial tuberosity is so sad. I thought it was a repetitive motion injury for constantly cutting the same angle. He will be back!
Hate to see a budding star like this go down with a serious injury. 🙏 He'll be back stronger than ever with time!

Been watching you for years. You’re the best !!!
Thank you Dr Brian this is my first time seeing your reports and as an ex-retired nurse I think your explanations are very easy to follow and understand. I am so sad for Hutchinson as he is one of my most favorite players to watch and I am sad that he will miss the rest of the year as this was I feel an important season for our Lions and one that they really looked forward to coming back on. Prayers with Hutchinson and his family. I know hutch will work very hard to get his leg back in the best condition possible, and not push it too soon so that it won't end up being strong in the long run.
