  • This episode explores animals' ability to perceive magnetism or “magnetoreception." We know from behavioral evidence that many organisms, from bacteria, to lobsters, to pigeons sense and respond to magnetic fields but we are just starting to learn how this works. I had a related experience. I am a cancer survivor and had some lymph nodes removed in my neck. An unfortunate consequence of this was the accumulation of a bacteria in my left wrist. Well, 8 years later, after using a poorly balanced grinder, my wrist and palm were hit with incredible pain. Turns out there are a lot of pain receptors in this area. So after going to the ER and getting a MRI I had a procedure performed that cleaned out the area, but left me without sensation in the wrist/palm area. Now one of my hobbies is fixing up electric guitars, and I noticed one day as I went to grab a pickup that I could FEEL it when my hand was about 3 inches away. I had a friend put a pickup under one of two tupperware bowls and could tell her which one the pickup was under! I had a super power! Unfortunately, it wasn't an especially pleasing sensation, and when I didn't know my hand was near ferrous metal, I would involuntarily recoil because it felt cold and sharp. What is interesting is that as sensation returned to my wrist, my Superpower faded away... as though those pathways can be used for feeling, or to detect magnetism, but not for both.

Quantum Biology. Can't wait for more of this field to come to the surface of mainstream science. It's truly incredible.

Yup, it might also further explain how EMFs (from microwave wavelengths including WiFi and radar) are damaging our body on a chemical level and cellular level.
For now, the highest possible non-principle causation among EMFs is made through some research.
      Known unknowns

I know how this works. Nether of your presumptions are even close to the fact.

When I was about 5 to 9 years of age, I was able to feel a lifting sensation on the bridge of my nose (bone part) extending up between my eye brows and forehead and directly behind these points into my nasal cavity. I would test my sense of direction and could accurately orient myself to North/South even if I was blindfolded or under my jacket in a car for instance. For all these years, I thought I was crazy but after seeing this, it makes sense. Some of my friends have also reported the same ability. Sadly, I no longer can feel it as strongly as I did in the past, but if I wear metal framed glasses or wave a magnet near my nose, I can still feel the "lift".

According to my late boss who was a flight engineer, while stationed at the Navel base on Kitsap Peninsula, towards the end of WWII there was a bit of research on one pilot who apparently has this ability.
From what I understand he could be blindfolded spin around over and over and still accurately point to magnetic North. He could do this blind folded in a plane as well no matter how many maneuvers the plane was put through.
The advantage of being able to duplicate this in other pilots would have been a signification advantage during the war. Especially during long flights over open water.

unicellular protists and even bacteria can exhibit magenetoreception. This is a very ancient ability.

But HOW ? We've identified the tool these animals use to achieve the goal, but how, does a newly hatched turtle have it hard wired into their being immediately ? Is it it the genome? Is it hormonal ? Is it divine ? Just how ?!?

Magnetopercetion is just surface-talk invented by skeptics of the spiritual side of life, magnetism is nothing more than a byproduct of physical dynamics caused in nature, Extrasensory Perception or ESP is a more accurate because it goes beyond the physical world and it deal with the spiritual aspects of the cosmos that surround us and help us solve problem in times of crisis.

Science, stubborn. Maybe less thinking and more being would allow you to enter the field where as you actually experience life.
Hopefully you dident think of your wife,.but felt love, which is not thought off, but feeling such as magnetical currents.
