Every animal has its own thin slice of the fullness of reality that it can detect, known as "umwelt."
Even though we all inhabit the same planet, each species experiences it very differently.
No animal can sense everything. There is so much sensory information in the world, that detecting all of it would be overwhelming. It's also unnecessary for survival.

This me or its character has memories of many lifetimes., one of which was a Shaman in dark skin living in either a large tree or small cave., where from my (that body's) vantage point I was able to look out upon what appeared to be open grasslands.
I held a staff in my left hand, topped with circles or bracelets and feathers.
In that memory, I was summoning my spirit animal, after which a single Zebra that broke from his/her herd came up to my entrance.

I also see the differing opinions of humans in this way. Nobody is right or wrong. They are just perceiving things in a different way because logic is in a way, a sense that is developed from prior experiences and maybe some genetics. So they live in an alternate world even though the majority of their other senses are probably comparable to other humans. Differences in sensual acuity and resulting perception differences in humans would probably be a cool study too though.

@@Jack_Aubrey If you analyse what Scientists say regarding the matter, space, time and the creation of the Universe. They say there was no time before the Universe.
Regarding the Attributes, it is taught to humanity through Prophets send by the Creator.
There had been many changes in the Laws since first man Adam (p.b.u.h.) put step on Earth, like, Alcohol 🍷 was prohibited later in the time of Mohammed (p.b.u.h.). The children of Adam (p.b.u.h.) married among themselves.
However, the Law of Worshipping One Creator had always been there. He sent many Prophets & Books throughout time but they were meant for that particular period until a fresh message came. The most important message of submitting to only one Creator had always been there since first human put step 👣 on Earth.
With the passage of time & people who disobeyed the Creator have kept on changing the message throughout time. Some started worshipping created things, some made forbidden things permissible & vice - versa due to various reasons. Some did so for profit, some for seperate followers, some because of their rebellious nature & ego.
Some civilizations even tried to kill Prophets sent by Allah s.w.t. who were conveying the message. But, in the end all the civilizations had been destroyed & punished by Allah s.w.t. with a severe punishment.
There had been many messengers who came since the creation of the Earth and there had been many Tribes which have been completely destroyed/ Annihilated.
There are 114 Chapters in Quran containing about 6,000 verses.
Some verses about destruction of previous few civilizations. ↓
'But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning, And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay. Surely in that are indeed signs for the scrutinizers (i.e., Those who look for the destroyed cities). And their place is located by a known route (perhaps from Makkah to Syria i.e. the place where the Dead Sea is now). Surely in this is a sign for those who believe. And the dwellers in the wood indeed were evil-doers. So We inflicted punishment upon them, and both of them are (situated) by a highway, clearly visible. The people of Al-Hijr (stone valley) also rejected Our messengers. And We provided them with Our signs yet they kept turning away from them. And of the mountains they used to carve homes, feeling safe. But the mighty blast overtook them in the morning. And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! We did not create the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them without a truthful purpose. The Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammed) their faults with gracious forgiveness. Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing.'
      [Chapter 15 Al-Hijr (The rocky tract) : 73-87].
And how many generation We destroyed before them, who were far mightier than them. Then when the torment came, they desperately sought refuge in the land. But was there any escape?'
      Surah Qaf (50 : 36)
This verse ↓ was revealed when Pagan Arabs/idolators used to ask, how our bones will get assembled when they get dismantled after death ?
'Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones?
Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers.
Still people want to deny what is yet to come,
asking mockingly, “When is this Day of Judgment?”
So, when the eyes will be dazzled,
and the moon will lose its light,
and the sun and the moon will be joined together
The sinning person will say on that day: Where is the escape?
There is no escape on that day and there is no place in which the sinner can take refuge nor any place that he can seek protection in.
On that day, towards your Lord will be the destination (of everyone.)
On the day man will be informed about the actions that he sent forward and those that he left behind.
Rather, man will be a witness against himself,'
      Surah (Chapter); Qiyamah (Resurrection) 75 : 3-14
Indeed, those who have persecuted the believing men and the believing women, then have not repented-for them is the punishment of Hell, and for them is the punishment of burning.
As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them there are gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the big achievement.
Indeed, the punishment of your Lord is severe.
He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again.
And He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Loving,
Lord of the Throne, the All-Glorious.
[Al Buruj (The Stars/the mansions of the Stars]
      85 : 10-15
      1. Say, O Muhammed (Peace be upon him): "He is Allah, (the) One and Only.
      2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).
      3. He has never had offspring, nor was He born.
      4. And there is none like unto Him

I love when these are things that we can also simulate like being able to use cameras to show what infrared or ultraviolet perception will do, and how even seemingly simple things like glass that can block certain types of light means that something we see as transparent could appear totally opaque to another creature, or how there are certain types of markings animals have that are totally invisible to us but that other creatures can perceive.
I think the most under-emphasized sense for humans is scent though, as it's liked to parts of the brain that are a deeply rooted foundation of a lot of our social and memory functions that are far more important than we often give them credit for.

    • @danielxmiller
      @danielxmiller Год назад +3

yeah that is cool! It's also difficult to imagine that what the cameras see as infrared or ultraviolet, xray etc, aren't what it is showing us, it is converting what it sees into visible light...so we still have no clue what it is ACTUALLY seeing, we just see the conversion of what it sees. Strange to think about. :)

I thought about smell and taste sense. I know some sensitive people can smell and taste things differently from most of us.
For instance, someone can smell things around where we are standing or walking by, but other can’t smell anything. I use this thinking for applying to dogs as they can smell many things at where we, most of us can’t, but dogs will not react until we give them some things to find.
Animals can taste food around them and they know how many gradients are in the food. If the food has more gradients in their normal location, it means that something is happening with their surroundings. It is the same thing for sensitive cookers as they taste foods.
Animals has their particular senses better than human because their survival I may guess.

Every action we do, we do what is expect from ours tribe.
Body might have a opinion, but not the cell.
They do what is expected from its tribe. If it doesn’t we call it cancer.
The body is a mirror system of the macro organism.
Each system have two transactional openings.
    Serial and parallel.
Each cell within the body can transact material or information serially by genetic determinism and parallel non deterministic way.
Similarly eact body with in the macro organism can transact serially by inherit material and information in a deterministic manner and parallelly through language in the society.
    Everything emerges from this systems.
Every sensor is a range calculator of contexts.
    Taste > touch > smell
    Immediate and visceral.
    Vision > hearing
    Not immediate, tactical.
    Self > language
    Abstract, strategical.
In this non deterministic economic transaction space the individual is coded to transact with its kin.
From the macro perspective tribe formation minimises economic risk for the tribes.
Each and every node of these systems organise and mark their kin’s with identifier.
Thus, i am what you make of me.
    And others too.
For short cut i have a legal name, so you have. My legal name gives the legitimacy marker so that you can transact with me parallelly if you have the same marker.
The self is a simulation in language.
It negotiates between the physical world and the information world.
All these negotiations are the temporal memories in the body and scene of the story.
Now, when we started writing we iconised the abstract in the physical world to make symbols for the tribes. So that under that common symbol every node will take the same risk and distribute equally.
We created more and more symbols and more and more meta tribes within the tribes so that who has the authority to use the pen control the tribe.
When the negotiator act like an executioner then it’s a downfall of that system.
    It falls apart.
