Great review as usual, I remember asking for this review a while ago so thank you for this video!
I got a 10 ml sample of both this and Sedley a while ago, initially I loved this way more than Sedley, it was also performing way better than Sedley, but with time Sedley overtook it in terms of performance and scent, Greenley just got boring and isn't for daily wear, but Sedley is, i wore both on each wrist to uni to ask friends and they all basically said Sedley is better, I actually LOVE Sedley right now, its probably my favorite summer scent currently.
I do agree Parfums de Marly fragrances need time, but I also noticed this with Xerjoffs with Erba Pura and Naxos for example, and Nishane fragrances as well, kinda sad how they just push them now just to sell as fast as possible.
Yeah it will all come to opinion. Not all with love Greenley like i do. I prefer Greenley to Sedley and i see how many could disagree with me, but that's okay.
I do agree though its very weird same thing happened with my Wulong Cha from Nishane.

i got a sample of it and i love the scent, and how it incapsulates a green pine forest or a log cabin type of vibe for me. So fresh but still manages to feel cozy.

I'm a PDM fan so my opinion is slightly jaded (like the bottle 😅) what I think people need to remember with warm weather fragrances in terms of performance is the weather itself. I sprayed greenley the other week and went on a walk with the dog in the warm weather. Later on I was busy in the garden etc and the fragrance just kept pumping off me. If I'd just sat in the house after spraying I wouldn't have had this experience, cold weather fragrances don't rely on body heat or the weather as much because their composition makes them inherently better performers

just got this 125ml on aurafragrance for $165 USD! If im completely honest, this price was too good to pass up. It smells great, I always tell people not to expect crazy performance from freshies but I will say it is a strong performer for being a freshie. I wouldn't pay more than $200-220 for a 4.2 oz for this IMO. But if you get it off aura or a great deal it is 100% worth the price, especially at $165. One of my fav summer scents for sure. This and percival> sedley,galloway, perseus for me

Thanks for the review, i will try a new dupe called fa paris aether which is a twist on these dna + ordred a decant of 15ml of greenly if the scent and dupe are good enough compared to og will not spen'd that amount

@@ChadSecrets for now i only heared of these no review yet since its a new release , btw fa paris sub brand ( fragrance World but like a higher clone sub brand ) and had musk therapy and after effect from them, and honnestly i was blown away by how they nailed both their og's (initio's dupes( musk therapy and side effect) and as one who owns both i applaud them for these great dupes)
I also noticed when I got Chanel allure home sport eau extreme the smell and projection got better as I wore it more too. Just like u said with greenly .
I stated tbat as well in my Chanel review i noticed that as well! Its very odd how some fragrances need that time. My Sedley had 0 smell at first and got way stronger a week later. Very odd!

by far one of my favorite niche fragrances...I love PDM fragrances, I like to wear as my signature gym fragrances..

@@ChadSecrets Same, I thought I specified in my previous comment, I was referring to Greenley as my signature gym fragrance.. not PDM as a whole although I do love several of their fragrances.
You would expect a quality fragrance to improve over time. Not smell great when you buy it but great for years. I only have a few but the way I store them you might consider to be extreme. Lets face it any citruses are the first part of the fragrance to degrade. Aromatics is the second part. They expect you wont be using it right away.
Thats very true. Some of my oldest bottles the citrus turned sour. However i did store them in not optimal conditions like my trunk before when i didnt care as much 😅

I do love this fragrance, purchased on discount for 25%. fresh and appley. however just does not last on me too long. unfortunate but after 3/4 hours its gone.
Gone? Or closer to the skin? Because barely any fragrqnce will have heavy projection after that point

@ChadSecrets Damn! I found a bottle in my local shoppers drugmart and tried out a sample. It smells a bit like a new YSL. I think you'll like it better than Y or myslf, a little bit powdery and not sweet. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Hey man, my greenly new batch just came in and I want to know if the inside of my atomizer being fully metal makes it fake because I watched a vid saying that if it doesn’t have a plastic outer covering its fake(was about althair though)
My greenley does have a metal centre surrounded by plastic. Doesn't mean much but does your catch code check out? And where did you buy it
@@ChadSecrets my batch is real,the box is real with the pdm QR code below the box and inside it, the inside of my atomizer looks exactly the same as new pdms but without the plastic covering, atomizer is real and everything seems fine but that so I am not sure
@@ChadSecrets my friend bought it for me from a retailer in Emirates and 2 people I know smelt it before said it smells exactly the same as the one they smelt at other retailer so I hope I am good

Well ysl y edp was designed for attention. This was designed for a fresh clean feel. Ysl y edp will win in compliments i feel like

I love the scent, however, I was really disappointed with the performance. I sprayed 5-6 sprays before going out with my girlfriend for a walk. She didn't notice it at all in the car or throughout the rest of the day. I was getting worried it just died out completely 3 hours into our day and asked her to smell my arm. She could smell it and said it smelled really good. But for it to become a skin scent pretty much instantly in my experience is ridiculous for the price. You almost need to spray this 10+ times for it to be noticable. I will take into account what you said about the bottles getting better with time though, and I do understand it is a fresh fragrance that typically doesnt last a whole day. In comparison to my LV Imagination though, 5-7 sprays and I'm good the whole day with great projection.
I really want to keep this fragrance but I think I just need to sell mine... Or will it really get that much better after I let it sit and get a bit deeper in the bottle? Right now it feels like I need to overspray it everytime I use it AND keeping a travel bottle of it to reapply after 3-4 hours.
I found it got significantly stronger in even a couple weeks after initial sprays. As long as yours is real and you have ruled out possibly becoming noseblind, it should be noticeable on skin
@@ChadSecrets yeah honestly I think I got a fake. I checked everything the batch code all that but I did get it from a discounter that I’ve never heard of soo.. I sent it back trying out a sample from scentsplits to see if it performs better. Most people online say it lasts a really long time so I was so confused.
@@dgedawesome1mine doesn’t last at all aswell, and mine isn’t fake i checked , maybe nose blindness or skin chemistry

One of the most overhyped fragrances of all time in my opinion. Smells like a green shampoo. For the price point it simply isn't worth it, even at a discount.
If this was an Adidas fragrance nobody would even talk about it, lol.
I like it a lot actually. Its one of my favorites. But not worth the money thats for sure

Hard pass, after smelling this in their sample set. To me it smells a bit like dish washing liquid, like VERY synthetic green apple (which it is, as there's no apple essential oil). I do love Pegasus and Herod (which I did get a bottle of), but even those are quite polarizing, based on reactions.
Yeah thats true. This is my favorite fresh fragrance by them personally but its polarizing and a love or hate for many
