An englishmen in a medieval game that wants sheep. Your ancesters would be proud.
All hail House Bonds! My Lord, if you will, please bestow upon us the motto of your house and the cheer we humble servants should raise in your honour when we drink to your name!

Putting Peasants in their place? Sounds like Bretonnia Simulator 2024.
Noob's guide to oppressing Peasants when!?
See his Repance video.
This is great dude, you get my engagement. Keep up the good work
I'm looking forward to this game so much. I'm glad you're just as invested!

Love the costume. I am happy to see my patreon humble donation goes to good use. Carry on sir.
Thank you! I specifically use the patreon money to buy equipment to make videos with. I want to get an actual coif, but just the helmet already got heavy after hour two.
@@codybonds I absolutely respect the dedication, I used to teach kids on cam and even things like a light wig or a clown nose would become unbearable after one hour. I hope your peasants can respect what you go through to make their village better.
Been waiting forever for this game
A Morgen is actually less than an Acre, at least nowadays.
The issue is that different regions considered a Morgen to be different amounts of space. A Kehdingen Morgen is about 4 times the area than a Bremen Morgen.
However, most of the time, a Morgen refers to about 2500 m² whereas an Acre is slightly more than 4000 m².
I’ll admit to never having heard of a Morgen before this game. Is it mainly a German measurement?
@@codybonds I believe so. It's considered pretty antiquated though.
Morgen (which literally just translates to "morning") apparently refers to the area that can be furrowed by a man using an ox or horse drawn single bladed plough in a single morning.
@@darthplagueis13 That's one of the most archaic things I've learned in months. Even though I'd assume it would be a prime man and a prime ox, that was given that metric.
This is CEO logic but reduced to the past. It's kinda cool, and kinda terrifying.
I do like this game, but I think the combat interface could be a bit clearer. You get massive bars for effectiveness and morale but then to see how many men are being lost you have to look at the tiniest miscroscopic little numbers.
It would also be neat if this game had a mechanic relating to injuries since, from what I can see, soldiers come out of a fight dead or alive, but there is no distinction for ones who just got wounded in combat and might need some time to recover.
To be fair about injuries, medical care was pretty rudimentary in this period and many debilitating injuries during a battle would have proved fatal long term.
@@codybonds That's often exaggerated.
Wound dressing was one of the areas they were actually pretty competent in, medieval medicine was a lot more questionable in regards to treating illnesses and other internal condition which they attributed to an imbalance of the humors.
At the time, medicine and surgery were considered entirely different fields, with doctors specializing in medicine (that is to say, treating medical conditions with an assortment of medication and drugs) and having to actually have studied it at a university, whereas surgeons/medics were technically a sub-section of barbers and learned their craft through an apprenticeship.
Since surgeons had developed their methods exclusively through trial, error and empyrical observation, they were often times significantly more competent than the doctors of the time who followed established scholarly medical theories, which simply were wrong for the most part.
A simple slash to the forearm with a knife or sword would on one hand be enough to keep a man from working for quite a while, but at the same time, it would rarely prove fatal.
I see a norman helmet and I upvote
Love the costume!
This game is awesome, cannot wait and cool custome.
I've been playing Bretonnia campaigns in WH3 and I must have peasants!
