Brandon as usual you never disappoint. I too grew up believing that Mary was a prostitute. I never heard about the 7 demons until later. I was in search of the answer and had read all the accounts about Mary of Magdalene, but found nothing that said prostitute, only that she was accused of being a sinner. My guess is Sinner has a wide range of accusations and because she was possessed it is hard to say about her sins. Mary holds a special place in my heart because my Grandma often spoke of the woman who washed the feet of Jesus with her hair. My maternal grandmother believed that was what she would do someday and for that reason, she never cut her hair, not once. She was not a religious person, but this stuck with her. God Bless and thank you for your great knowledge.

Her unearned reputation (which I still hear quite often in a variety of denominations) has bothered me tremendously for years. I prayed to God to heal me, not for me, because I don't deserve it, but for my little children, who were left without a mother! in exactly that day, in which I prayed, the Lord healed me! I suddenly felt the pain in my kidneys go away, as well as the dryness in my mouth (diabetes). I'm a new women now! I thank the Lord for His mercy and love for us!!!!

Praise Jesus! I did not have healing as you did, nor diabetes, but I was born with one, underdeveloped kidney which failed when I was 15, (I will be 50 in October)I have gone though three kidney transplants, lost due to insurance, or lack of, and have been on peritoneal dialysis and currently on hemo dialysis, going on 13 years in November. I went through all the emotions and questions on why, when I was younger, but continued to live a normal as possible life. Then in April, I found The Chosen, I watched and now I know why I was born this way, to give hope to those who are afflicted to know that God is good, that he has a plan and even tho he heals some and not others I understand now, not all the way, but more than I did; and God did bless me with two wonderful boys, now men, who witnessed my suffering, ,near death experiences and when they were little ones(3 and 5 at the time) had to go with me to dialysis and be good while there! It taught them to be strong and look at life a different way than of those around them. I thank God and our Lord Jesus Christ for all of these blessings, and I rejoice that I am still here. As long as I have breath I will praise the Lord and give thanks to all I have.
I am so happy for you, sister, you are healed and can tell your story as well.
God continue to bless you and your family.

Mary also was the only one who understood what Jesus was saying, she was a incredible smart lady and could see the love that Jesus had even for his enemies. What is remarkable is why did it take us so long to see this? Maybe man has always wanted to keep woman suppressed at a lower level because he knows woman is and should be equal and that scares him that he won’t have control, why I don’t know but nothing has changed much and it’s to bad because woman have so much to share for the betterment of the human race. A recently found Ancient Tile Mosiac of Mary Magdalene and Jesus - found in Israel. Pictured in a RUclips video called - The Gospel of Mary Magdalene and Gnostic Spirituality. Has Similarities to America's - Statue of Liberty 🗽that the French Masons gave the American Masons.
Mainly that all three are holding Torches 🔦 With Mary Magdalene's Cresent Moon Crown 🌙 being laid down on The Statue of Liberty - with Jesus' 7 Rays of the Sun Crown☀️ on top of it.
And while Jesus was made out of Colorful Tiles - Mary Magdalene was made out of mostly Blue & Green Tiles. Like The Statue of Liberty - that is made out of Copper that turns Blue Green as it ages.
With even Copper and Female both sharing the Same Symbol ♀️ Of a Circle representing Heaven over a Crucifix.
And Copper being similar to the name Cooper in spelling. With Cooper meaning Wooden Chalice Cup 🏆 and references to The Carpenter's Son & The Holy Grail.
With even Ellis being a variation of Elijah meaning - The Lord is our God. For the Island, the Statue of Liberty stands on.
May your desire to meet Mary Magdalene, be fulfilled.
If you want to learn more about Mary Magdalene and Jesus' Relationship. The Priory of Sion (Zion) has an Ancient Fleur-de-lis Symbol that can tell you more. ⚜️💍💍

And we know that in Early Christianity, she was a figure with a huge following. The gnostic Gospel of Mary Magdalene being an example of her name being used to further a popular movement. She was called for many centuries in several christian groups, ‘Apostle of the Apostles’. We also know in Early Christianity there was higher female ministry and leadership until the 3rd century. With remnants till the 11th. Makes me wonder how big her presence was, and how word spread of her specifically, that wasn’t recorded in the chosen gospels.

Judge not lest you be judged, If I understand this correctly in its literal direction. We are not to judge others.we are not to look down on our fellows as lesser. That is a clear direction we should all obey. None of us are beyond redemption. We can not say for certainty many things in scripture are accurate so shpuld bear that in mind. What we can grasp with certainty are the directives Jesus gives us, judge not
lest you be judged is clarity itself. A prostitute should not be accepted as a condescending favour on our part but because Jesus our savior directly tells us to. Marys past is immaterial and should be to a follower of the holy father.

It is really sad that women were and are even today so undervalued and unappreciated. I believe that many were jealous of Mary Magdalene, her intellect, her capacity to understand Jesus at a different level. Jesus when resurrected he appeared first to her. God does not make mistakes. She was chosen and of great importance both historically and symbolically for all the women to come. God did not, does not discriminate based on gender. That a women would have such a leading role in Christianity must have not seat right with the men of her era who set to destroy her reputation and her work. St. Mary Magdalene pray for us.

JESUS CHRIST Our Lord and Saviour came to this planet to have a ministry that would end in Him being put to death on a Roman cross to pay the Ransome Sacrifice for mankind.
He came down to this very planet he created to give back the chance to gain everlasting life on a paradise earth.
    HE DID NOT GET MARRIED.
He did not get married to Mary Magdalene or any woman.
It would have been so naive to marry someone knowing that He would be put to death at a very young age.
He had one purpose in coming to Earth and one purpose only.
And marriage was never ever any part of it.
He came to give people guidence on how to give their lives to the One True God.
How to live life with rightousness and gain everlasting eternity with God Our Heavenly Father.
And to pay the Ransome Sacrifice and gain everlasting life back from what was lost by Adam and Eve.
    And this He surely did.

I always knew she was not a prostitute and I just despised how the church, believers and non believers automatically assumed she was. I too had been very demon possessed but got my freedom back in April of 2004 when I was born again in Jesus' holy name. I am so thankful and so blessed. I have a real life now. Thanks for dispelling the false teaching that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute I also thank you for speaking of how supportive she was of Jesus and of how important she was amongst his disciples. Of course, as a psych nurse, I wonder if Mary Magdalene had schizophrenia and heard different voices in her head, perhaps she was also addicted because the drug was the only thing that quieted the voices. That, of course, is modern speculation. As a lesbian women who deeply loves Jesus, I note that you never once mentioned being ostracized because of one's race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Hmm. You have left some of the most marginalized out of this otherwise wonderful sermon on how Jesus lifts us up.

You didn’t talk about her being his wife. The marriage in Cana is HIS wedding. He was a Jewish male and expected to marry and propagate. Mary, is the only logical choice as his wife. That is why she was at his death and resurrection. Only a woman as dedicated to him as Mary was and his wife would have been at both events. And you should believe she was pregnant with his child and with help escaped to France because the Sanhedrin would have never allowed her to have his baby because then people would say he wasted the son of god. It’s very simple. People as you said read the Bible incorrectly. They don’t read anything else, some of them, they never expand their knowledge and that is no growing in Christ he wants you to be wise as serpents. Here is a big problem because people don’t know what a serpent was they equate serpents with Satan that is incorrect. In the original text Satan means adversary someone who stands in the way of some one to prevent them from doing something. If the serpent doesn’t get Adam and eve to eat then they would never have had free will or be able to learn how to survive as they should. Jehovah wanted to keep them ignorant!!!! Jehovah is not who most people believe him to be. Jehovah is two words not one in the original text. Most people don’t know that nor do they know he is not god. He is a tribal god. NOT THE GOD

She was an enlightened one, who studied in Egypt the only school of esoteric thought that allowed women. Jesus often asked Mary to answer questions from the c🎉old as she was extremely knowledgeable. It was apparently the other disciples, namely Peter who had cause to dislike Mary for her knowledge and influence upon Jesus. I do not believe she was a prostitute at all.
This is what I have read.

Also, when Lazyrus died, one of Mary’s relatives, she was inside the house and could only come out from shiva if called by her husband…. Jesus called her and she came out of the house. Mary was the most loved of the disciples as well.

Great key points! I felt it was very significant that the resurrected Christ appeared to Mary Magdalene first out of all the people He could have revealed Himself to. I never knew why but know that somehow it was important since it is in the scriptures. My impression is that the women at that time and still to this day in some countries are treated more like second class and were more like rear echelon support for their husbands, domestic chores ,raising children, and their duties did not include opinions of a religious or political nature. Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. A lot of great comments!

But there is no doubt that Jesus had a very sympathetic attitude and fondness towards her for various reasons. Jesus was able to see through her and understand her true sincerity and loyalness. Thats why we can see how Mary Magdalene was very concerned and visited the tomb first where Jesus was buried after crucifixion . She does hold a very high position in the Bible for obvious reasons.
