I heard this story when I was a child from my grandmother who grew up and went to school in a French Catholic Monastery in the island of Syros in Greece. In the monastery she was given the holy bible in French with a cover of a picture of Mary Magdalene. She died in 1987 at the age of 90 and she left me this bible which I treasure immensely!

In the bible, once an apostle went to another country to preach, they mentioned it in their books, they have letters sent to the leadears of that place. Yes I beleive she did return to Jerusalem, I watched a documentary about a year ago I cannot remember what it was called but it was about the discovery of Jesus family tomb, very interesting and I beleive it to be true, this tomb or cave was discovered in 80s by some children playing around a construction site where new houses or units were being built in Jerusalem, it was amazing, every bit of evidence was examined and studied by experts, and according to test results and yes even DNA, which they weren't quiet sure would work , but it did, everything suggested that this was indeed the tomb or cave of Jesus and his family, not only that but DNA testing showed there was a different sequence of DNA discovered in this tomb, this would suggest a marriage, and more than likely this DNA would be Mary Magdalene, at the end of the doco, they showed a tiny box also in this tomb with the name Jonah enscribed on it. Remember that after the resurrection Jesus then went on to heaven, and so just like any other human being his bones were left behind, so he was therefore buried in the family tomb
