  • I noticed water on the floor and the soft sided spa was losing air. I found two separate problems and repaired them.

Ours has just decided to deflate in the same spot after 2 years. Couldn’t for the life of us figure out what to do! Thank God I found this video! We will try this and hopefully will solve the issue. So appreciate you for posting this!

Don't use Flex Seal. I fixed a hole in the wall of my hot tub with it and it couldn't handle the warm water and failed big time.

Hello, had a similar issue happened with mine just recently....what you showed in in the video at the end is exactly what happened...got PVC CEMENT and waiting on it to cure but when i blew air into it you could hear it where it was coming out from same thing like yours...but wow these products are flawed...

The little upper and lower overfill valve on the top and bottom mine was leaking as well. They started just leaking a little then eventually failed until the air chamber filled with water. I am considering just sealing off both valves as well.

My hot tube is having the same exact leak problem from the gasket and water is leaking from the inside of the tub into the liner through that filter housing due to a failed gasket, just like you identified here (so thank you!) . Your video ends with you planning to cut a circular patch and seal using rubbing alcohol and then PVC cement. Do you have a follow up video where you did this? Curious to know if it worked.

Crap. It may be a simple connection. Sometimes the washers fall off the connection when tightening

Can you come and fix mine? I had an air leak and then took it apart to blow it back up and got water leaking and had to drain it, still didnt find an air leak.

Thanks for the tip. Not much info on this or why those air vents are really necessary. I used permatex ultra black gasket maker that I had left over from when the heater element of this device started leaking. Put it in and let it cure for 24 hours. Filled with air and it's holding. The heating element fix was more challenging as you had to take apart the whole pump system. These spas are cheap but need some work to keep them going. I've only had for 2 years and have had to do some big time repairs. Still going though.

Thanks, I love my spa but hope they fix all the kinks one day, mine also takes a long time to heat up, the cord could of been longer too, but hey I got it all for free when my neighbors got frustrated.
I even bought a new solar pool light recently.

We will see. I had the same problem. It was deflating. I figured it was the last year for the spa. I asked my son to fill it up with air in the middle of the week. He forgot. The way to the water, pulls it away from the Pump and it has cracked the water outflow where the hose is attached inside the tub so I think I can fix it but I’m gonna see what you found.

I’m draining mine as we speak. There is a little water around one side near the pump on the outside of the hot tub. Yet the pump seems dry and my hot tub is still fully blown up. When it’s empty I’m going to check if I have a small hole. The water is low but I haven’t used it in a while. Any thoughts?

I had the air seal leak behind the filter as well. Some guy said he fixed it with JB weld I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. I ordered a new tub when I got the new tub inflated. I got the leak in the water side of the heater. So its taken apart. I'm wondering if I could spray flexseal on the corners of the heater. Otherwise it's take each end off of the heater, clean it, clean the gaskets, put it back together, and hope it works. It seems like a real pain in the ass. We've only had it up and running for 3 months last fall. And all this happened when we went to it inflate again for this winter. I don't know if it's worth buying a new motor if it's just gonna happen again. I've already spent two hundred and thirty on a replacement inflatable tub. Good luck. As much as we loved having it up last fall, I don't know if it's fixable.

Hello. I am not sure about any flexibility seal products I don't know much about them. I think the manufacturer should stand behind the product better so we don't get left like this.
