the 10 yr rule keeps us from doing it again. We full timed in the 06 to 12 time period and the problem is time. When you buy a brand new 100k (now) rig it starts 2 clocks, one depreciation 30% immediately and in 10 yrs not welcome in the good places. I did some research because we have 300k in equity in our house and my military retirement is set income and not taxed and i found that more and more parks every summer are making it harder. My brother with a 2022 rig he is asked for pictures just to make a reservation and that's shocking. If i were to do full time again i would never buy new, so i was looking at 2019 models and i'm already into the count down 5 yrs, at 74k into it just purchase not even upgrades, with zero hope of reselling it in 5 yrs. Yes we could boondock a lot but my wife likes being around a pool once in a while. No, but i'm looking into why no one has sued these parks yet, because this plus one summer of nationwide boycotts on their parks and they will join red lobster in bankruptcy court. I love the road 40 yrs my dad drove for greyhound i have been to 29 states before i was 13, but its getting further away daily.
Nice tour! I believe Boondocking is the way to go. And for that reason, I’ve invested a fairly significant amount in my own power system. And pretty much I’m just committed to having to do modifications whenever I decide to change a rig. I’ve decided I’m in the right rig for right now, and if something changes I’ll be willing to pivot. My next pivot is selling my house that I had turned into an Airbnb when I went on the road full-time. Just published the first video about that this afternoon. Hey, you went completely unconventional and didn’t talk about the exterior features.good Anya!
Thanks for sharing the tour of your home. I got a few good ideas for storage and organizing. We have not boondocked yet and my husband is super anxious for us to try it. I work from the RV while on the road and still need a lot of power. We are slowly improving our solar system once we can get that done we may get it a go.
Dooooo it! It took several attempts to learn and get it right, but we love it. We won’t do it as much in the summer but all fall, winter and spring we’ll be enjoying it. Thanks for watching!
Another great video! Some future topics I think would be interesting to see 1. What to look for when choosing a vehicle to tow an RV. 2. Being working nomads, what do you do about your mail, taxes, things us homesteaders would know nothing about. 3. Top 10 things like 10 things you miss the most, things you things you love the most, things 10 thingsyou learned about yourselves Keep up the great videos!
Oh, you really didnt talk about all the cons. Would like to more for information please... Love your rigvand how you decorated it. Beautiful, can't wait till i can get one

Just recently found your channel. Love your Toy Hauler and how you have decorated it.We aren't full timers, but we are retired. We went from a 37 Ft Montana to a 44 Ft class A Disel Pusher 10 months ago and will be taking our first long trip through the coast of Ca, Oregon and Washington this summer.
We have the 2021 40V13. I've found lots of your ideas very helpful! I'm not really good at organization or decoration! Also, you two are nice and all, but Hugo, he's the real star!! 😍😁
great vid! so wish they still made that patio enclosure! Your place is very "homey"! I fulktime solo in my 37v13 & you have some great ideas! So want the happy jack tables! now following, hope to see you in the boonies someday.
No they don’t make it any longer from what I understand but I’ve seen a few people sell theirs. That’s how we got ours. Thanks for the sub. The link to the tables is in the description. There are a few different colors too
and thank you for the "homey" comment. That really is what I wanted to portray. It CAN feel like a home. Definitely keep following. We hope to eventually do some meetups. Maybe next fall/winter in the west.
Just started the planning process (within the last month) to go from "Never done it" to "Living on the road full time" and really appreciate ALL of the info you guys provide. I too will be working full time in my rig and wanted to how you pack everything up before you travel -- maybe you guys could do a "Travel Day Prep" video and walk us through it. Especially interested in how you stow your monitors and other items that could easily be broken with one short stop or hard turn. Thanks!
Nice video! I really love that floor plan! I’ve been considering Alliance for my next trailer and your model sure seems to hit the mark. Thanks for sharing!
Great vid! Love the Crib and all the upgrades. Great job! Still love my Class A though. Ever thought about switching over? If not, why? Just curious. 😊
@@liketheresnotomorrow He's so sweet!😍 Mine would take it over too!😂 It needs a screen enclosure, something like what Barry got for "his" garage/patio which is pretty awesome!
Great video! Thank you for sharing. I’m actually looking to do the same thing in my garage when I get my toy hauler. Since I will likely be reconfiguring the garage myself, I wanted to ask if you folks could do a video on how exactly you took the desks from Amazon and connected them to the happy jack system. I also love the little decorative touches you have throughout your RV! 😊
Sure. If we can find some time I’ll have my husband do a short on the desks. He said that you literally just take the screws off the seats where it connects to the bench seats. You now have the long bracket left. Take the same screws and use them to attach the desk tops. He said it was super easy. I got a lot of the decor on Amazon and Hobby Lobby
Two sets of Rv keys, two sets of truck keys (his and mine). Bike and scooter locks. And think he has a set for his inflatable boat motor. I dunno. Too many! lol
I am thinking of becoming a full time rver and I love your rv. I am retired and single with a cat 😂 and have been looking at buying a house but the prices if what I like are astronomical. Plus I have no idea where I want to live because I love so many things about each state. So I think travel for a year or so and find my tribe and vibe. My concern is how hard it is to drive with a 44 ft rv attached. And what type of truck is able to pull the rv? I started watching your video about the monthly cost but didn’t finish it. Anyway. Love your home and thank you for sharing.
I would not recommend a rig our size for a solo rver. It’s a ton of work and not so easy to navigate alone. If you were going to be mostly stationary, maybe. I’d go with something smaller. You would need a dually to pull one our size. Smaller ones a half ton would be fine. Keep watching the videos. We talk a lot about he realities of fulltime Rv life. The good and bad. There is also a second budget video where we show how we cut expenses. You can Rv much cheaper than the way we do. Everyone is different in personal spend.
Tell us more about this new shower door option! Where did you get it? We have two young kiddos and we like our Jayco Northpoint 377rlbh but we already crave the 2 fold out porch toy hauler life so this looks pretty neat - lots of windows was a must for us too
I have the link to the shower in the video description, but I’ll be honest, if your kids are really young I’d skip it. If they pushed on it I’m not sure how it would hold up. The two porches are THE BEST and we haven’t been in many spots where the side patio couldn’t be put out. That extra living space would be great with kids.
Another great informational video! Had a question since you mentioned a few times about removing you washer dryer combo, do you live/travel without them? I would assume that would mean you have to use a laundry mat while one the road?
We have plans to sometime but Barry does go over it a little more into it on the one ruclips.net/video/bO7KQGuTcI4/видео.htmlsi=OGC1yUN8woprQoSq we didn’t do the install so I wouldn’t consider us experts. lol
Thanks for sharing. How do you guys tow such a big rig? How do you know when you will have an obstruction or obstacle like a low clearance bridge you need to go through ? Narrow roads? Ect..
We will not tow a foot if we don’t have our Garmin GPS. We put in our complete rig length and height. It will not allow us to go down any roads with low clearance. We also have a backup camera (but we don’t use it that much).
I also run a second map on RV Life Trip wizard. If those two maps don’t give me the same route then I start looking up what may be the issue. The Garmin has proven to be the most trusted.
@ sort of. If a semi can drive it, then it assumes you can… but it doesn’t take in my comfort zone, that’s for sure. We have went down some mountain passes that made our butts pucker but technically we could fit. lol I still pull up questionable routes on google earth. If it looks like tight s curves or switch backs, I might reroute. Doesn’t happen that much
Do you all connect your computers via WiFi or with Ethernet? I am wfh but my company makes us connect our computers to an Ethernet connection, so that’s something that concerns me/ I’m curious on how that could be done in RV
WiFi. We don’t have any Ethernet requirements. I know there are people who work with secured networks on the road, so I know it can be done, just not sure how they do it. Or manage it.

The garage desks use the brackets that were already there. They previously held the bench seats. We reused the exact same ones.
Great job guys what dose your fift wheel weigh and what do u pull it with. Thanks stay safe
GVWR of 20k and we pull it with a 22 Ford 350 dually.

Was it a Samsung residential fridge you had problems with by any chance?
No. Everchill (some people call it Neverchill) but we haven’t had any problems since the replacement and that was over a year ago
How are you getting Amazon deliveries?
At a campground, sometimes UPS or a shipping store, and some post offices will accept general delivery but you have to call and check to be sure
How much did the RV cost you before mods?
We bought it back in 22. I think it was around $110. I’ve seen some Valors used for decent prices lately, this model is harder to find.
