Homemade Skunk Smell Remover

An effective skunk smell remover is combining one quart of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. Use an unopened bottle. 1/4 cup of baking soda and 2 teaspoons of liquid soap. Mix in a plastic bucket.
This was developed by a chemist who was working with thiols. These are the sulfur like compounds that give skunk spray its terrible smell. They are also found in rotting flesh and feces.
Don't put the solution in a closed container, it will build up pressure and burst.
