@@dessahc2704 Last year during the pandemic sales were crazy! did about $80,000 for the year. I was selling thermometers, gloves, and mask. This year I am only selling clothes, so far at about $35,000.00. As long as you continue to increase your inventory every month your Sales will increase.
@@zeric3000 There is still a pandemic going on. The coronavirus numbers now are worse than they were in the beginning. Especially in places like Utah, Alabama, Florida. It's definitely not over. People stopped caring ..most people. Stay safe and keep going !

I like how you are familiar and good at posting your listings using keyboard shortcuts, this is something every seller should know/learn on their computer, using a phone for listings can be very time consuming. You are one of my favorite YT'ers to watch. Good luck in the coming week (or so).

found your you tube videos while looking for ways to explain what I do to my niece . I have been trying to show her how I buy and sell things. being "older" sort of like dirt and I may be close relatives. At this time I sell through swap meets and fb, I did sell on ebay but for my skill level it was very difficult. I wish there had been some videos like yours at that time. I have migrated over to listing everything on the app using very limited item specifics. All sell similar. Sales are as strong as ever. I basically use the desktop for shipping and some store maintenance.
Be careful when listing on the app. There a a few quirky things to watch out for.
does ebay offer rewards to ebay sellers who sell/buy a certain number of products and does ebay offer rewards to ebay buyers non sellers who buy a certain number of products?

Good advice Ashley, I personally found policies too confusing and burdensome to maintain (exceptions, etc.), but definitely agree with everything else, looking forward to seeing your listing tool video. One thing, you mentioned you send via Pirate Ship, but ebay does offers larger sellers discounts. Is there a way to match the discounts on Pirate Ship or do you just use ‘flat’ rates for you items and prefer Pirate Ship for that reason? Just wanted a clarification, tia. And CONGRATS on the new bambino!!!

I take one photo of an item then draft a listing with just one picture and a brief title so I can fill in the rest when I have more time .
Lots of things need far more than one photo. Books really should have ten to fifteen of done right. Unless they are nearly worthless, mind you. Those books, I toss.
I’m sad I missed this video ! Great info - I really like starting the listing on my phone just to skip airdrop time.. i just google photo search the item , 75-80% I can just sell similar another eBay listing , 10-15% I steal key words & search on eBay, if those two fail I just manual list it by selling a similar category item to get at least some pre-filled stuff. Then I just set the price from the search while photos upload , click save . Then I switch the the computer, bulk edit all drafts , edit titles / add sku / description / etc then I can launch right from there or tab open each one to nitpick specifics if I want. Works for me :) but I’m experimenting with 100% computer too just haven’t found a way to make it faster yet

At 12:06 you are showing the description and there seems to be a pre populated part. How do you get that part into all of your listings. One question. I hope you can respond. When shipping with Pirate Ship, what do you enter into the fields,while listing at eBay,when you are planning to put a box in a poly mailer for the shipping of the item ? I am also still very curious about doing multi quantity listings to save time! I know you said in a prior video that you don’t have any sold comps if you search your store and the reason is you do multi quantity listings. But I am still not sure why and if that is to help on saving time to use sell similar on your own listings?
Photos: if you use any of the standard mobile phone apps, they sync to the cloud and therefore automatically are accessible by your computer.
The challenge I have with photos is that they all need to at least be cropped, most of the time. I find this fastest done on the phone.
Also, things like books need ten to fifteen photos each unless it is a junk book. Takes time.

Does it go against you on the ebay platform if you remove a listing like say 12 hours or less before it is automatically relisted by ebay? I have listened to other resellers that end listings in order to relist them to freshen the listing to generate traffic to it. Would ebay ding your account if you remove too many listings this way?

I heard from a different reseller not to use sell similiar because it tied her to that person listing who did not get a good review. She said now she has a bad review from someone she never sold to. Have you ever heard of this or had it happen? Thanks for all your videos. I watch/listen to you as I list everyday and I always learn something new. :)
Hm, I've not had that problem actually! I don't believe bad reviews carry over in that way. Good question!
Yeah reviews should not carry over using sell similar.
Sell similar is much faster for me so it auto fills out info. You just need to be carefull if specs are a little different.

I make an educated guess based on if I think something is under a pound, over a pound, or over a pound and won’t fit into a padded flat rate. ;)
Why do you choose padded flat rate? It doesn't seem like the lowest price.

You can require immediate payment with offers. I made an offer yesterday and had to put in payment information in the offer window before it would go through.

Computer is faster.. however I do everything from my android when I'm out and about. Then if I miss specifics I will go back later and enter those...however I usually sell things before I put all the specifics. If something is valuable it will sell.....regardless of the post ...especially if the title is worded correctly....thanks for the good info.. nice vid
I was seeing this video on my phone,not able to see much because of the letter size ,maybe on computer will be more easy to see ,I’ll recommend do this type of video with a bigger screen size like zoomed or some thing for only phone users ,very informative by the way!!!!!

Good idea about the basic shipping fee u use...but what about if u sell diff. Size n weights of like home goods etc. Sorry im a newbie on ebay n this shipping is slaying me lol thanx for all ur info. ur so helpful!
You need to weight the item with package and everything to calculate the shipping fee, and always add extra $2, to be safe.
Great advice, I may stop using calculated shipping now…I wonder if integrating pirate ship into this makes it more time consuming ?

I actually don't spend any time editing my photos! I've found with some good lighting and my iphone, I can take a crisp enough picture as-is. Editing can take a little too much time :)
Great video! Editing photos is what takes me the longest time during the listing process. Do you not brighten them or try to get your white background totally white? Just upload raw images? Thanks!

I have a question... and it's very complicated, I hope you can help me, the fact is that when I get something in the listing in the delivery section there is no section with a customized delivery price, I tried everything, nothing worked out, but when I went to another account I had everything and you can set up your own delivery price on it... if you know how I can configure the shipping price directly in the listing, then help, I hope you understand me, I will be very grateful.

I sell stamps on eBay. I list selling similar from any of my active listings. Have to make small changes to title, country, mint, used but it goes pretty fast
HELP!! How are you successfull with AirDrop from iPhone to Mac? Every time I do bulk pictures, it scrambles the pictures all over. How do you keep the listing pics together??

When you are using similar listings already on Ebay, are you able to change some of the information? I've found that I'm stuck with someone's expiration dates and other details that don't apply to my listing. I try to make changes, but it defaults back to the original listing. Very frustrating.

No one is actually listing 20+ items and hour. Even is you aren’t counting picture taking time. Picture taking is a part of the listing process and should be included with the time. If I stay busy non stop, from the beginning of taking pictures all the way to posting, I might be able to get 5 listings and hour done
Is there a google photos equivalent to drop ship easily if you don’t have a apple computer only an iPhone?
Yes, Google Photos app. It's great and you can set it to automatically sink all photos from your phone to the web app. then you'll be able to download them to your desktop.

When starting out on this is buying Gaylord lots the best way to get an adequate amount of Inventory to begin listing? And what are a few things that are like a bare minimum to begin even selling on eBay. Like office materials, shipping, software that can be run from my phone, etc..? Need to know which bags/boxes you use to ship items. You say SWEATER $5 SHIPPING but the shipping cost depends on what you have used for container. So - som
ewhere in a future shipping - or to me in particular - to show what envelop/box you have used
You probably sell a lot more than I do, but as a person that does most of my buying on ebay, I would advise a 5 day handling may lose a lot of sales. I would suggest a 2 day or less window if at all possible.

An app called your phone companion will be a similar experience as airdrop for android users with windows 10 will not work with mac OS
When I downloaded the eBay app on my phone, I was given an ID number or username whatever. Anyone I’ve got my personal computer. I got another account with a different username. That’s a big problem and I can’t seem to get an answer how to fix it please advise.
You went through things so fast it was hard to see specific things... I'm curious about the notes. You mentioned you have the same info saved in notes and just add them to your description. Is the notes something that is in the listing area/seller hub? or just notes on your computer? Trying to get more efficient at listing! Lol It can be so time consuming.
Airdrop always converts the images to HEIC and that those image files do not work with eBay. Is there a workaround? Thanks.
You can change the image settings on your iphone to jpeg :)

What does promoting your listing do? I mean, how does that present itself to the buyer? Better presence in searches? Size 41 is a 10 btw. lol
In shipping templates you say $5.00 for shirts, thats all you charge the buyer? What if theyre far away, isnt that costing you close to $14 to ship?

I just bought a Mac specifically so I could air drop pics. iPhone photos are HEIC which take up less space but not compatible with eBay. How do you deal with that?
You can change the settings on your iphone to save images as .jpeg instead of .HEIC :) that solved it for me!
What is the difference between air dropping and just dragging them from the photo roll? Or is it the same?
@@liverhater88 Air Drop is a way to send photos and other items wirelessly to another Apple Device. It is an Apple feature and basically shares photos from my iPhone photo roll directly to my Mac computer's photos over wifi. It is faster and easier than dragging from the photo roll.
How do you "drag it to the garbage?" Dragging photos one at a time to the trash drives me crazy and takes forever. Is there an easy way?
If you click while holding and dragging your mouse, you will highlight multiple images :) makes it much easier!
The delete key is magical.
