I would probably never download this song but I really enjoy the show they put on stage. Very artsy and scary... The first time I watched it really got shocked.
If you ask about Bambie's music style, that is Ouija-pop.

@@damedusa5107the song is good for what it is supposed to be...for a pop song is awful but it's not a pop song, it's experimental metal. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's bad, anyone who understands music theory knows the song is good, well structured and well thought elements with an amazing build up. Now just cause it's well done doesn't mean it will sound good to everyone or fit everyone's taste, like you :)

@@damedusa5107 metal isn't the most popular music genre, i liked it and lot of people did too, so the song is good for us and bad for you (and for all the people who hated goo)...its normal, that's how personal tastes work, nothing new. I'm aware a lot of people didn't like it, its definitely not mainstream bubblegum pop type of music. You could've just said "performance was good but I hated the song" but instead you chose to say "song is awful" it's ok, as long as you don't shit on people who like it it's fine

At the very least the vocals and production are objectively well done, the whole thing is skillfully written and performed - regardless of whether you, me, or anyone else "likes it" - so it's neither fair nor correct to claim the song is "awful" so there's that.

Not a great song but a striking performance. I would not vote this to win because it only works for me as a stage act. I would never listen to this on the radio.

If I'm driving a car and it's playing in the background, I change the station. Eurovision is a singing competition, or at least they were... the progressive era came and it became mostly a perverted circus. If the song is good, I don't care how it was presented. Usually pornography or provocation of excessive theatricality comes to compensate for poor vocal abilities and quality or for a really bad song.
Also songs by singers, especially well-known female singers, are conveyed through the externalization of sexuality in order to convince to purchase the product...probably someone on their behalf understands that sex sells.
The show was bizarre, I didn't really care, the song is bad and I won't want to hear it again.

Terrible message sent. Its not for Eurovision. She is very talanted musicle/opera/theatre actor and very good singer and composer, but the message overcovers it all. She should go to some Metal concert and sing there. Imagine Gorgoroth, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth or Immortal would perform on Eurovision stage. And i think even several Immortal song lyrics are nicer then her. Perhaps Cannibal Corpse, Gorgoroth and Behemoth has more evil ones.
I'm sorry you feel that way about the message Bambie was very clear about. How the gay and non-binary community are underrepresented. The anguish of unrequited love and an homage to Ireland's pagan heritage. Any other message would be your interpretation. And I would give more weight to the Irish nation who voted her into Europe and the Eurovision community who put them 6 th out of 46 countries than your censorship ideology

Bambie is very talented obviously and i feel the sexual tension in the song, about touching herself, about romance, but i have a feeling that she attributes those things to the devil or demons. I dont see any clear reference to the gay or binaries. She sais things like: 'I guess you'd rather have a star than the moon." To me it looks like a reference to the christianity and witchcraft. For witches moon is very important, lots of magical power(supposedly) is when theres full moon. And star - its sun. Jesus is sun, Lucifer is lightbringer - also often referenced to star. Jesus/Luficer is also attributed to morning star and evening star.
'Avada Kedavra, I speak to destroy' is also a message - with power of witchcraft(and cosorting with demons/imps) i want to destroy - destroy what, unclear. But thats the opening line! So dont give me that pity about that shes defending rights of minority. Shes pure and simple coming out with a statement that she wants to destroy and theres doomsday coming. So shes kinda helping it perhaps even.
