This channel is a one stop shop for the practical man's baking expertise. I love this flatbread recipe I can make it in bulk and freeze it to sub for a work lunch forgotten. I can easily make variations on the filling and adapt it to taste and dietary needs.
Yet again another absolute banger of a recipe and video. I won’t get tired of saying this - this is my favourite food channel on RUclips and I’ve watch a LOT. Brilliant recipes, brilliant execution.
Made this today - finishing up the “members first” videos recipe that were posted on New Year’s Day. While there was a bit of prep work to make the filling, it was quick work to roll out, fill and shape eight slightly smaller flatbreads. I used the griddle to pan-fry the Gözleme. I only had smoked Spanish Paprika, so I went to the local Indian market and they had a bag labeled “paprika” - I purchased/used it for the filling - I think it has a bit of heat to it, but not too much. This is quite a tasty stuffed flatbread - with the ground beef, feta, spices and fresh vegetables. The flatbread itself has its own nice texture and flavor due to replacing the water with yogurt. Thanks, Charlie for this recipe. 👍 Photos have been posted (#401/2025-#9)
Just what i was looking for! As a lorry/truck driver i need my lunch to be portable and easy to eat even cold. I just made Sandwiches before and this feels like a good next step up =)
I'm on the opposite side for the new thumbnails. They now look and feel fake and generic. Why ruin perfect money-shot of a finished result? I've noticed this terrible trend, where all of a sudden everyone need to "photoshop" their faces with fake expressions into a thumbnails. They are as terrible as clickbait AI generated, with red circles and arrows. I know ChainBaker is the real deal channel for all kinds of bread-making, but new visitors could judge badly by thumbnail before watching the video.
People are not clicking on my nice looking bread pictures, unfortunately. If it keeps going like this, I may need to rethink if it's worth spending my time on here. So far the new thumbnails have worked really well, so it is what it is ✌️
@@ChainBaker I always recommend your channel to anyone who asks me about bread making. In terms of quality you are like Chef John, but for bread recipes.
My favorite stuffed flatbread is the one in my hand. ;) So many delicious flavor profiles to choose from! It's like deciding which is your favorite child, and I just won't do that.
Cool down completely and freeze in an air tight container with baking paper in between. Thaw at room temperature and then pop in the oven for 5 minutes to heat up.

So I have just recently been making scones with 250g Greek Yoghurt, 250g bread flour, 10g baking powder, 3g salt. The dough was very dry and crumbly, which is fine for scones but not at all like what you show in this video. Can you give any more info on the yoghurt? Fat content etc.
I have a strange request. can you come up with something to test how well an oven works? after baking with 3 different ovens over christmas i came to the conclusion that they all were a bit different and one of my cakes had alot of holes because it took ages till it was done.
I guess it's relative. I have nothing to compare to 😅 but yeah you're totally right - most ovens will be slightly different. It should not be that much though. As long as the bread/cake is baked to the desirable crust colour it'll be ok.
The filling is either your beef mixture which originally is lamb only, OR feta and spinach. So you got 2 variants. But you don't mix them. And you made them muck more brown tzan they are supposed to be. It will most probably taste better this way, but originally ita not very brown.

Would this work well with gluten free flours? I have a celiac in the household so no more regular flour, sadly
Unfortunately, I don't have any gluten free baking experience 🥲
Pierogies next!
They're on my list 😉

5% fat Greek yogurt. No fat in the scones? The fat would make it crumbly.
@@ChainBaker thanks for the reply. I was using 10% fat yogurt. I will see what is available the next time I go shopping.

Yoghurt is not from Greek. It is from Turkiye!
Whatever 😄
"Greek Yogurt" is one type of yogurt they sell at the grocery store. Where I live it is imported from Greece.
Too much work for me 😁 I just make them thick in frying pan later cut them open on one side and fill them. Kinda works😅
