One of the few shows with substance, huge performances and a great plot. It is shocking, funny, sad and powerful in equal measure. Karl Urban is brilliant.
Karl Urban in the pilot is amazing. As well as Antony Starr throughout who was born to play Homelander, giving a spine shivering hero/villain portrayal till the end of the season that you can’t really help but to like.
You know a superhero show is good when it’s inappropriate for kids. We adults are happy that a show like this was created; something we could truly enjoy.

There are different economics involved in streaming properties than in theater films. Extension of the series doesn't necessarily speak to its quality. That said, I do hope they do a good job on this.

@Entertainment Connoisseur With the exception of Superman, the Justice League are all competent fighters who don't just rely on powers to do the work for them. Then there's the fact they're all competent at using their powers, as well. JL would curbstomp the Seven. The Boys wouldn't even cause them to work up a sweat.
I just watched the entire first season. I loved it. One the best Superhero shows I have ever seen. I hope we get a second season. Great cast, great chemistry between the actors, it seems, and a fresh new take on the superhero genre.
Just finished last episode. Awesome show great all the way around Characters are likeable, the supers a cool, cgi is good and the story line is excellent!

Anthony Starr is an awsome actor, I watched a New Zealand series where he plays two rolls as a twin.
He did an amazing job making it believable, not an easy thing to do.

@Entertainment Connoisseur With the exception of Superman, the Justice League are all competent fighters who don't just rely on powers to do the work for them. Then there's the fact they're all competent at using their powers, as well. JL would curbstomp the Seven. The Boys wouldn't even cause them to work up a sweat.
I’m so glad I saw this series before watching the trailer. The element of surprise was great and it’s the best show I’ve seen this year.
I just watched the entire first season. I loved it. One the best Superhero shows I have ever seen. I hope we get a second season. Great cast, great chemistry between the actors, it seems, and a fresh new take on the superhero genre.
