It really helps to write stuff in the description with the dimensions, products used etc. Then we all can easily repeat your awesome diy hinges!! Keep up the good work!
I'm not sure it needs to be that precise, though here's my guesses. From the "spiderwebs" and the glue gun, it looks like hot glue, and the transparency suggests the all purpose kind. The paper looks like cardstock, but might just be computer paper. Either should work fine though. The self-healing cutting board looks to be a 1cm grid, and measurements can be taken from there. The metal is presumably aluminum, but most metals can work that you can buy like this and scissors can cut. (Alluminum, tin, zinc, etc. Even lead or magnesium if you're feeling edgy) The piece of metal cut looks to be about 1cm, and the paper about a 1.5cm square, and both look cut without exact precision, other similar sizes should be fine, with the paper teeth being 1/3 width each. Toothpick is a toothpick.
@@rmt3589 Pretty sure any glue will work. The metal part will stay there as long as no one ever pulls on it, even with white glue. This is so simple and clever, why didn't I think of that! Maybe glue some little piece of paper under the hole to keep the metal part from falling off.
At first i was like "what on earth" and once it was finished i was like "ahhh okay!!!" That is incredible thanks so much im gonna apply this to the diy miniature cafe im working on because i dont want it completely closed to where i open to the inside!😄🤗❤
What kind of glue did you use, and what paper kind? Thank you very much! I mean, it looks like it's not just an ordinary paper. May I know how thick the paper is? In GSM?
Tried this after failing with metal hinges and those crazy small nails. My problem is that my finished hinges don't fit together as tightly as yours, any suggestions?
@@TuyetQuach I made them into the H shape, then glued them like you showed but when I put the 2 glued pieces together, there are big gaps between them and they don't look like 1 hinge.

Yes! I was thinking it was one of those tumbler things for jewellery making!
That doesn't seem like normal paper or cardstock. It's grey on the back. Is this plastic?
What is that on 1:44 ? Hard paper? Black on white paper?? I wish there was descriptions for this
It’s a thick paper pad
Great! thanks!
Beautiful. Except the background noise. 😅
Какой материал использовали чтобы согнуть?
very cool TY :)
this is amazing :O
What kind of glue did you use, and what paper kind? Thank you very much!

Card stock most likely
I would have thought card stock and regular superglue.?
Tacky craft glue and card stock by the look of it. I made these and they worked really well. Such a clever idea!
Whats that noise in the back ground? Sounds, like a old motor! 😢
We have the same ruler! 🙋🏻♀️

Which part did u mean?
@@TuyetQuach I made them into the H shape, then glued them like you showed but when I put the 2 glued pieces together, there are big gaps between them and they don't look like 1 hinge.
U may over cut them. I failed like 4-5 times to have it fits perfectly
@@TuyetQuach Thanks, I'll keep practicing.
What kind of paper are you using. Regular copy paper? Looks like more than that
Hi, I'm not sure what it is called, it's a craft Paper pad 12in x 12in (48 sheets in one pad). I think any thick paper will works
Probably cardstock i'd say.
Helpful video but what the hell is that noise in the background? It is extremely distracting.
Sounds like a wobbling fan... Or laundry machine in the djdyance... But I totally agree. I had to mute it because I was going crazy
I enjoyed it 😂😂😂
@@honeyrunnyag3867 lucky for you. 🙂
Sorry about that, that is the construction next to my flat
@@TuyetQuach ohhh,no wonder its so loud. Sorry. 😆
What the hell is the background noise?
NOOOOOOOOOOO!
