I just wanted to see your method. I am doing a half scale project at the moment so am using the "bugle beads and staples" method. I hope you and your family had a nice Christmas despite the constraints at present and wish you and your loved ones a healthy, happy 2021! I must say this is a lot less fiddly than the beads....thank youxx
Most of this door was a kit. However, we just used basswood for the parts of the kit that was not made right. Also if you are looking for more dollhouse door DIY's, build tips or dollhouse door templates we made some from scratch so you can find them all by following the link below. www.dollhouseminiaturemadnessandtutorials.com/dollhouse-structures/doors/
Thank you 😁 I hope it turns out ok my kitchen is so so small. I really enjoy your and your dad’s videos. We have talked before when I sent you jacked pics you gave me hope for mines. I can’t wait to send you my kitchen. Thank you so much
@@rmt3589 Greenleaf Dollhouse kits, this is the Beacon Hill kit from them. It was an extremely difficult kit to build and I don't recommend you starting out with this kit as your first.
@@DollhouseTutorials I think I stumbled into a genre I know nothing about. I came here trying to figure out how to give my fairyhouse a working door. Would you be willing to explain, or send me a video to explain, what these kits are?
These windows had grids printed on them. However, I do have a tutorial on here with a DIY window grid. ruclips.net/video/x6vb0w43zRo/видео.html I have the template for the grid on my website and you can also use nail polish tape as well.
The window plastic used in this build came with the kit so we just made our custom window frames to fit their plastic windows. However, please subscribe because I will create a do it yourself window glass tutorial for my diner build.
Very nice and useful! I also want to say that I love to see your father's hands, always helping you! Thanks to both for this tip!
Just what I needed to see thank you. Love to see how you made those doors.
I want to learn how to make this beautiful door.. love the glass panels..
That is beautiful. Thank you for the easy remedy. I used clear shipping tape.

You've done it again! Awesome! So easy. I hate hinges the other ways.
Cool! I think I’ll use that method for the doors on my current project. It’s a model of my grandparents house.

If you use a couple of dabs of Loctite Super glue it will also hold on the not so sticky tape.

How did you make the door and is it out of wood or cardboard or foamboard
The door came with the kit
How about afterthe door is finished and the doorframe is part of the house? I'm not sure what to do at this point!
You put it up the same as you would with real hinges. Just glue the frame to the wall.
Love it. But how do you put it kitchen cabinets
