- Monday July 15th, I found out that Oreo has a mass in his small intestine. This week, Oreo has been doing better despite the fact that we still don't know if the medication will work for him. We got him to play a little and even celebrated his birthday (a little early). One day at a time... This is week three of our journey.

This is an amazing series. The topic itself is not what we really wanted… but I feel a part of this journey, as we all do, rooting for him in every way. I am thrilled he had a pretty good week. His birthday live streams this weekend were a hoot! I hope you got to enjoy it as much as we did. But yeah… the mind goes THERE. It hits in the most random times that should be bringing pleasure. I am sorry that happens. You three are the strongest cat fam I know, and love. 💜 Just keep enjoying each and every day.

When my cat was sick with cancer her appetite went through the roof and she started hiding under things which she never did before. She would wanting to eat constantly. Cats know something is wrong. They don't feel good and show it in different ways. She didn't sleep well either. ❤

When my cat skittles was sick with valley fever, she had to get meds taken with food and those Fancy Feast broths were a lifesaver!
It makes me happy seeing you spending time with Oreo. I hope he keeps doing well and enjoying his time with you and the others.
One of my boys has two masses in his intestine and the vet who did the ultrasound told me that they look like lymphomas, so I'm bracing myself for what's coming on Tuesday when I meet his oncologist. It's tough seeing him feeling like crap although he's on corticoids and omeprazol, but seeing your vlogs gives me hopes that once he starts chemo he'll be somewhat back to his old self. I hope he continues to improve and who knows, maybe even beat this horrendous bahrstard of a disease... I've heard of cases who made it past the two year mark so let's keep our limbs crossed that our kids will make it too!! ❤❤ And yes, it's also hard on the other cats living with them... they definitely know something's wrong with them as well as with us cat parents. But hey, there's always light behind the storm... and we'll see that light again, I promise. Stay strong, family!!❤❤🫂🫂 Big hugs from Bs. As., Argentina! 🇦🇷❤️

My prayers for Oreo & your strength and Love, Tina. I just lost my Best Friend & Furry roommate, a 5 yr old Siberian Forest Cat rescue.....about 2 am Northern NH time today. She's no longer Suffering. I am relieved she's no longer in pain. It was a liver /pancreatic disease...very fast. I LOVE watching you & your kitties Every Day. You are NOT alone in your Love & compassion for your floofies. I miss my Girl SO much already.

Oreo is such a sweet baby ❤ & you are the best cat-mom! I’ve lost two kitties to cancer. The most recent was in Nov. 2022. My most wonderful boy was diagnosed with intestinal cancer. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him, multiple times. He was my best friend ❤ Sending you & Oreo love 💕 (& love to the other kitties!)
I think of you and watch your updates every day. I've lost a kitty to cancer but with great care he lasted much longer than they said. I now have 9 kitties that I rescued. We're under SunnyandhisbestfurryfriendsBFF's. We love you and you have the most beautiful kitties. Happy birthday beautiful Oreo! We love you. I love the gifts mommy got you. Enjoy sweet babies 🧡

I’m glad Oreo is doing well, I hope it continues ❤ I cried when I saw you crying, I can relate so much about not wanting our fur kids to leave us. My kitty Lucky hasn’t been well he has diabetes he is on medication (oral ) it has brought down his blood sugar which is good , he is skinny & not walking very well his dr. Thinks it’s due to the diabetes, so I too am taking it day by day with him.

My 13 year old was diagnosed with Lymphoma on the 13/7/24. Imagine my surprise to find Oreo’s story. Wanda’s is a nasty and aggressive large cell GI lymphoma. So chemo isn’t right for us. Wanda is tired and is also enjoying quiet spots in the house. My other two kitties have been very confused. They are younger so they’re adjusting to the new dynamic. I’ve been struggling with the same feeling of sadness followed by feeling I should be focussing on enjoying our time together.
I’m glad Oreo is feeling ok. Luckily for us there are no early morning wake ups lol😊

It's so good to see Oreo eating again, and it seems he adores those tuna cakes you make for him. That is a great idea, I should try it with my girl Marnie to see if she likes them. If not, fine. I'm able to eat them. LOL
My poor Marnie was in my arms while I was watching this week's vlog and her poor head is soaked because I was crying so much. Tina, you are such a great cat mom, it's so obvious you adore Oreo beyond words. It's natural to be upset, he is your BABY and will always be in your heart.
