Ritual beast made it to top 16 in the 7400 player tournament in Japan a couple months ago. I have very high hope for that deck. Probably going to be the best shifter deck this format
Pretty much. It may be complicated, but the deck can get past Ash and Nibiru no problem if you know what you are doing. Having 4-5 additional normal summons with better extra deck boss monsters to summon and get more disruptions and protection is exactly what makes Ritual Beast a much more threat than Ice Barriers and Infernoids
@@MattOsheaYGO that’s fair. I’ve been wrong before as well. I am on decent streak of picking decks way before they are meta/tiered (mannadium and melodious). Maybe I’ll be 3/3. Deep down I just want toy to mesh well because it’s cheap lmao curious what your picks over toy are.
Kurikara and diviner are my 2 hype reprints definitely picking up a play set of each since they are gonna be slightly affordable lol. Branded rarity bumps are nice branded fusion and granguignol as secrets is fire. Actually a decent set imo
what are your thoughts on Spright’s potential with the addition of Mirror Mage to make Swap Frog a one-card Toadally Awesome? could it be meta relevant again, or still rogue at best?
i want to try it out this coming format. i dont know if its rogue or maybe tier 2, but its strongest points are as you mentioned toadally and the non engine slots. you can literally play 15-18 hand traps including shifter.
Just play another support engine. Aqua engines are not versatile enough to be Good in both going 1st or 2nd, and without Elf, it's not worth tò sacrifice going 2nd potential for Just 1 negate. (Don't tell me double cross reborns toad; double cross can be used as an interruption by itself, even without toad).
i think its a great set. Rarity bumps for cards like gigantic and starter (Very happy as a spright player), cool legacy support, and just overall good cards in the set. I do think that Dragon Master Magia being printed only at QCR paints a dire future for the competitive scene and affordability, but I pray konami keeps that to only nostalgia decks like blue eyes and DM. Other than that, Im definitely picking up this set, it seems really good.
I mean, Master Magia isnt splashable and wouldnt be meta for the get go. It will be eventually reprinted like Dragoon, prob alongside the rest of the sky striker.
@@eduardosr9859 still, if Konami are willing to print an actually playable card at QCR only, that could mean that in the future, Konami could end up printing meta-viable cards at QCR only, and that would be horrifying. Magia only being printed at QCR is a scary downwards spiral if Konami continues this, this better be a one-off thing. Meta decks are expensive enough.
Ritual Beast plays Shifter and it actually helps the deck. Also, most decks in the format lose hard to Shifter. Additionally, Ulti-Reirautari tells Infernoids that they can't play Overall, the set is solid 7/10
As a Sky Striker player I'm dissappointed on this set. The new cards I was waiting for didn't get released (Camelia and Engage Zero) but only the weaker ones and to top it of, they made the alt arts of Raye and Roze QCRs only. So yeah, I'm not exactly happy with it.
So the packs appear to be 5 dollar packs with 4 secret rare and 1 ultra rare or higher in each pack making this a rarity pack in itself but for that price a lot of the cards can be treated as pretty looking commons since they will be easier to get while buying packs. I don't get why people would pre-buy cards that are sure to lose their value the second the pack comes out and people get bombarded with ultra and secret rare cards
@@dinoloveryour likely to get one QCR in one Box however the rates on which QCR you see are different. Magia is only 1 Per Case of boxes if your lucky. Your More likely to get 3 QCRs in one rarity collection pack than you are to pull a Magia from a box
Ive been yearning for those new sky striker manga cards since they released six months ago, but now they're too weak and also they decided to not release all of them in the same set, so it feels kinda lame
Answer: its not good its terrible. Bad card pulls, no chase cards and lots of reprints of cards that have no right being reprinted like the branded structure deck cards. Skrews over yubel players since phantom of yubel is the only chase card that isnt a qcr.
The set hasn't even released yet and "Oil" has already sold out in the US
US has bought all the Oil? why is that not surprising? 😂
10/10 comment@@szymonsadlo
I've been considering building Sky Striker and it's kinda annoying that Raye's only alt art printing ATM is QCR since I like this art more

You are slowly becoming my favourite Yugituber. Love your presentation and analyses!
The new ice barrier cards are high for pre order but I’m hoping they’ll drop to be affordable for budget players like myself
Most preorder cards are more expensive than I expect them to be
Thanks Matt, great analysis!
mmmm might want to run that back on Toy. Def meshes with White Woods pretty damn well.
imo there are much better options to pair with white woods, but if im proven wrong, i'll eat my words

Ritual beast is the most consistent of the 3 decks. Its has 6 one card combos and can play shifter.
Board breakers list?

It really sucks that phantom of yubel is gonna see play outside of yubel. I hope it’s copium and just ends up being not worth it

I bought 2 phantom of yubep and called it a day. Now im just waiting on fiendsmith to complete my yubel deck

As a Ritual Beast I just want singles and rarity upgrades
Its a decent set, however I'm skipping it for now and my sarc and exodia decks are happy for it
Madia dragon being really hard to pull is realistic since the card itself is hard to summon lmao........ Okay I'll see myself out
How is it hard to pull? It has the same rates as any QCR. It being printed in QCR only does not make it harder to pull, only more expensive

Im glad Magia Dragon is QCR only. Makes it an even bigger flex for those who pull it
I just want a Thunder Dragon Dark reprint. The card is over $20 now and I cant play Thunder Dragons without a playset 🫠
