Tommy, this is the most beautifully executed video I’ve ever seen you do! The editing, the cook, the lighting, simply beautiful brother! I will 100% be trying this recipe!
Wow, thank you! Coming from a true Pitmaster like yourself!, that means lots. Cheers
Looks amazing! I helped a friend at church this week prep 4 legs of lamb in 4 different ways and I was blown away at how good they were! Yours looked killer! Cheers Tommy!
My man. Thanks for stopping in. Cheers and have an awesome Christmas.
Yes, on the mint jelly. Like you, we always had lamb at Easter and Mom always swore by the mint jelly. Over the years, I’ve tried to make different sauces with the mint jelly but she always just liked it straight from the jar. Great memories.
Same. R U Greek??
No, not Greek but we love good food!
Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, that looks amazing! My local butcher shop is owned by a Greek family and whenever I get lamb there, they always ask me what I'm going to do with it, since they cook a lot of lamb themselves. Now I have something new to tell them!
Bruce., So so good. Enjoy buddy and thansk for all you do.
I love Greek food, and that lamb looks beyond amazing!
J brother, so so good. Cheers!
Follows the video to a the T and came out just like he’s. Best lamb iv ever tasted , bias tho being Greek myself

Where I come from mint jelly is a tradition with lamb... this recipe is absolutely 💯 🔥 Thank you Tommy for all you do man, Merry Christmas 🎄 to you and the family!
Tommy you always do a very good cooking video, today was a great show. I love the way you honored your mom and Yaya. They must be so proud of the way your keeping their traditions alive. Now the cook, I have no words on the amazing job and agree this is a 15. LOL and I never put mint jelly on, the herbs and seasoning is all I need. Brother Great Job!!!
Thanks, Tom. It appears this cook is hot on all cylinders. Cheers man and have an awesome Christmas.
This looks absolutely insane. Here I am searching endlessly for a new leg of lamb idea to make my next cook pop and I think I have some great concepts for my next one. Then I stumble across this and it literally blew my mind. This is fire Tommy!
Hope you enjoy
The cross-cuts made for a great presentation, and absorption of all those great flavors👍Fantastic!
Bobbi and it gives you those little fat chunks that are loaded with flavor. lol Love those little suckers.
Lord have merceh!! that is beautiful Tommy!
Good stuff for sure- Cheers.
wow best video yet. lamb looks amazing..great job.
Scotty. Thanks brother!
I don't use mint jelly on the meat, but I do use it on the fresh, warm pita bread I bake to serve with the lamb.
Lamb is an Australian staple, I do mine on the smoker with my roast veggies under the lamb so the soak up all those flavours and wow are they good, and mint jelly is the way to go here or also tzatziki
Oh yeah. I forgot about that tzatziki,,,, Thats good stuff and would be awesome on this. Cheers and thanks for watching.
This is what you call a food Picasso nothing but beautiful art of food DAAAMMMM
805 BROTHER. Cheers man. Enjoy your Christmas and thansk for the awesome comment.

Another perfect cook... That crust was insane! I've done the jelly, but I'm more of a tzatziki guy. Either was, it's a wonderful meal!

What’s the Dahlstrong knife you used to cut this dish, looking to get something similar.
Great recipe. I made this this year for Easter. Yummy.

My man. Thanks. I go through many tracks to get the right vibes. Cheers and thanks for noticing!
Yes, mint jelly is essential 😊
Beautiful! No mint jelly for me! Great cook man!
Thanks a bunch!
Great video. I am from England where most of us tend to cook lamb a little more toward well done. One has to watch that it doesn't dry out though.
Thanks for watching... I loved this cook.
I love mint jelly, but mint and apple jelly is another level. Much better than just mint sauce 😅
Interesting. Thanks-
This looks incredible 🤤🤤🤤
Thanks And thanks for stopping in and checking it out!
GREAT LOOKING LAMB TOMMY , I HAVE NEVER HAD LAMB BUT GONNA TRY IT , LOOKS GREAT
Rod. LMK....
That is a fabulous looking leg of lamb. I'm not Greek but that is one of my favorite things to cook on the grill. Nicely done sir.
Its good stuff for sure-.
Great video ! Yes! Mint sauce here New Zealand Lamb!
Thanks for watching!
I'm a longtime fan of lamb, and I must say that you did an epic job of preparing that leg of lamb. Pink is the way to go too. Nice colour inside. Hope you have a Merry Christmas. Cheers, Tommy! ✌️
Cheers Dwayne and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Getting caught up Tommy. You rocked the leg ‘o lamb! I grew up in NY. We traditionally use the mint jelly and mint sauce too!
So good Alden and I hope your doing well.
And yes on mint jelly!
My man. I hope your doing well. Maybe a before Christmas chat is inorder!
Great video looks amazing
Thanks for the visit
Hey Tommy, that really came out great I’ve never cooked a leg of lamb just chops matter fact lamb chops were probably the first thing I ever cooked definitely before I ever cooked steak and as far as the mint jelly that’s how we served it at our house but I never cared for it I’m not A mint fan at all and believe it or not I don’t like jelly not even a jelly doughnut if I have the choice I always get the lemon filled🙂🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
Hope you enjoy. Cheers
When is dinner time that looks so yummy 😋
Doug. Thanks brother. Cheers and thanks for watching.
Looks amazing Tommy!
Thanks bud. This recipe was pretty awesome. I loved all the fresh flavors.
Never had 🪔 will have to give it a shot 🙂
Its pretty awesome. That said. Some love it, some dont!
I just finished making this recipe about an hour ago and it came out fantastic. The only thing I did different was add some fresh rosemary in the herb mixture, otherwise this was perfect. Doing lamb like this from now on
Awesome. I'm glad you enjoyed. Cheers
While I prefer that my meats be well done, I like the way your lamb is not overly stringy. Thank you. Sounds wonderful.
Thanks for watching.
Wow…..your cooking skills impress Tommy 🤙👍🥃
John. Cheers brother!
Definitely going to try this. Assuming the process will work on a MB560. Thank TS.
Lindsay the process will work on any pit. Its all about time and temp. If you ever have any questions. gallerybbq@gmail.com
mint jelly all day
heck yeah
Never heard of mint jelly but looks great 👍
Goes well with Lamb. Not sure what else though. lol
Looks succulent whisperer ! Glad I subscribed to your channel..
I love your chuck roast video..also tried it with a vension roast 😋 👌..
Thats the BBQ whisperer . LOL Randy, was that you that suggested that?
@@thegalleryBBQ yes sir, fits perfectly..you need t shirts with that on them..
@@48randal I am.... Just needed to remember who the credit goes to. Cheers.
This is awesome brother..love it
Thank you kindly
Nice work mate in Oz we use mint sauce instead of jelly it's the best 👍👍🤣
AWESOME.
Looks great. What flavor of smoke did you use? I don't have a pellet smoker, I use charcoal, what wood would you suggest? Cherry? Pecan?
Thanks.
Cheery. AWESOME RECIPE.
This looks so delicious
Thanks and thansk for stopping in.
I never did lamb before. Wait....what?? This looks delicious. My son loves lamb and will be excited to try this. Any drink pairings you could suggest??
red wines go perfect with Lamb. IMHO!
That looked darn good and I don't even like lamb. Thanks Tommy!
Thanks bud and i am thankful to you that you watched!
Damn Tommy! I dont like lamb but this video is making me want to give it another try. Wasn't gonna watch it cause it's lamb but ... hey, gotta watch Gallery Backyard BBQ when a new video pops up.
Steve. I so appreciate that brother! Cheers man and enjoy your Christmas.
Looks so good brother!!
BOOM!
Amazing Tommy delicious looking for sure…..
Robert. Cheers man. This one was awesome.
Nice cook!!
Must be a different part of Greece- ours were garlic, lemon, oregano, rosemary, mint. Have you ever tried simmering fresh mint in honey, then pouring that over the lamb when serving?? Or a chimichurri of the herbs??
Now I know when Larry comes out things must of looked good. lol Mint with Honey sounds killer. I wonder how Ribs would taste with a mint honey BBQ sauce. That sounds so good to me. lol
Never seen mint jelly but I use horseradish on lamb
Merv my
man!
Perfection 👏
Its gotta be! Cheers to you Char! And PS.... I and the Wife have chosen our New Year's Eve Restaurant. "Char" Steakhouse. Now that has nothing to do with you but I'm sure you'll be thought of as im chowing down a 38oz Porterhouse with a PBR lol
Perfect!
Cheers.
Mint jelly yes.
Cheers
Tommy my man...
So glad your cooked up some lamb( would have prefered it on the MB 1050 but hey), defo stealing that recipe!!!
would really like to see some other meats like game I.e venison/duck/boar etc!!!
But neon green jelly noooo make your own mint sauce ,handful of chopped mint and a good glug of malt vinegar (brit style) gove it a stir done...
PS keep it going love the channel hooked since the 560 overnight brisket
Anthony, Thanks, man. Appreciate you watching. I think ill be doing Duck soon so stay tuned. Also. My Christmas show is coming and ill be giving away a brand new Masterbuilt 560;)
Yes I am Team Mint Jelly
Thanks.
The love in this video…
Thanks.
Looked good
So good Mike. So good.
Mint great
Agreed!
a little aggressive with scoring the meat (way beyond the fat cap, think duck breast) but a pretty result. Not everyone likes medium rare lamb so good variety. Gonna try one this weekend in a PK Franklin using apple wood chunks. well done, sir.
cheers and enjoy!
Mint jelly is good, but try mixing it with fresh horseradish. Boom!
Sounds awesome. I love HR with most long slow roasted meats.
This guy rocks…
Cheers brother!
@@thegalleryBBQ You know what I love about you, besides the fact that you BBQ up great stuff is your MMM MMM grunting in the background which just makes me damn hungry. You have a very unique thing in your personality that appeals to people. Keep it up, you have a future in this for sure! Its sort of like watching De Niro cooking sort of vibe.
Will this work with boneless leg of lamb ?
You lose some flavor but it should work.
Yes. You did it🔥🔥looks so fucking delicious man👍🏼
Cheers brother!
Why did you pick that temperature to cook at? Would 400F+ be bad?
Not sure-.
finally got my leg of lamb in.. its frozen thou... i must do it this way....
Thanks brother
I vote no on mint jelly. Mint is great with lamb but the jarred mint jelly is just off putting to me. There's other ways to pair mint with lamb...that's just me though. The lamb looks great btw, I'll be using this recipe next week I think 👍
Enjoy brother.
Get some homemade British recipes mint sauce on the go. Will change your life 👍
Damn... send it over gallerybbq@gmail.com
yes, I use mint jelly.
AWESOME. I love mint jelly and lamb.
That looks perfect Tommy, I've always had mint jelly or mint sauce with the lamb, just goes together. It did look better than the prime rib. Sound and video very good, some of the best on RUclips. Keep up the good work, I don't see how you can top the last few cooks, I watched this video 3 times and I'll be back when I cook some lamb to watch it again.
Thats awesome Will and defiently helps out the channel. Cheers.
Mint sauce rather than mint jelly for me!
What's the difference between a Lamb roast lamb shoulder and leg of lamb?
JUST DIFFERENT CUTS
@@thegalleryBBQ do they taste the same and have different textures?
@ Leg is a stronger flavour than shoulder.
Those first cuts really are food porn! And hell yeah to the mint jelly. Amazing cook!! 👏🔥🍻
Haha, Thanks brother!
No on the MJ!
Mike, Thanks brother. Seems some do and some don't.
My father did
Thanks-
No mint jelly....
John. Thanks budddy! It seems some do. Some don't. Cheers.
Greeks don't use mint jelly
I'm Greek and my family did!
💖👼🏻🌺
Cheers;).....
It’s not smell, it’s }}}}} AROMA ! {{{{{
Meh, your instructions are walmart value. Good idea though
In what way?
@@thegalleryBBQ I had to rewatch. Idk why I wrote that, maybe I was grumpy. It actually was pretty well put together. I do favor a Greek yogurt or a middle eastern breakfast yogurt to marinate my lamb before I smoke it. Happy Thanksgiving.
@@maz5907 no problem. For the record I am Greek. Lol. Cheets
