Hey Fil, nice wet test right there, the things we do to make a video! It was worth it though to see the water flying off the wheels in slomo! You got some great landings in there, the rig is obviously a blast to drive! Have a great day, dude! :D
Yeah, buddy! We're all sucker's for slow motion wheels spitting water droplets, aren't we? Haha! Thanks for hanging out, pal. Have an excellent weekend!
Hi Fil! Thanks for sharing the footage this early. Surely it seems quite fun to drive!! Maybe It might be too late but I wish to see how it would run on the original RWD configuration as well, and what would the difference be
I feel ya on the rain, man. I've ridden a motorcycle for 10 hours with continuous rain. The first hour isn't so bad, but after that, it gets old fast! And there is always that one trickle that ends up going down your back under the rain suit to soak your pants. You get to your destination, take off the rain gear, and it looks like you peed yourself. But, I digress.
@@poorboysrcto be fair, I started shaving my head in 7th grade, and since then, I either had a mohawk or just shaved my head since then. Now im pushing 41 and my hair is thinning hahah
I built my Vorteks Boost this way...was my first basher...Boost...added the front drive a few months later...went brushless a few months later. The stock brushed esc was NOT water proof for me...I played in the rain and the esc refused to turn off at the switch....had to take the esc apart and dry it out and reassemble to get it to work properly again.
Yeah weather been lovely here too. Pours nonstop and thunder wiped out all the trees on my usual park location. Seems indefinitely closed at least for a month or more.
Raining over here to mate......☔ Hope you didnt get ya hair too wet!!😅 It still looked like a lot of fun out there despite the conditions . You captured some amazing slow mo shots for sure.....and always a good result to come home with no breakages.😊 👍 👍 👍
i wonder what the people that were driving by the skatepark were thinking about when they saw a grown man in a pissing rainstorm driving around a r.c. car and jumping it around? meh..who cares! you had fun besides being a little wet. ya! solid truck so far! 3C it!
Some sweet transfers over the spine. If you have vertical ramp in the area take it there my nitro truck use to get some sweet air. Though as a skateboarder I would also just do it when it was empty.
@poorboysrc ha yeah I don't skate either after r30yrs I gave up. I travel too much and got a little fatter and don't bounce after stacking it, though I can still do some tricks enjoy 🍻
@kanenstuff i feel your pain, brother. After two broken wrists, broken left elbow (twice in the same week!), several concussions, torn up neck and herniated low back disc's. The only skating I'm doing is playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, lol! I can still snowboard, though. But my days in the park are long gone. Just groomers and a cold beer for this guy. 🍻
This video was great. I literally just did a review on my channel on the granite 4x4 and my pros and cons were basically the same lol I tried so hard to get a back flip out of it and there just wasn’t enough power but the chassis was excellent
Ya for the price there great and tough 💪 💯 wish a decent company with rcs would come out in canada with decent prices seems like alot of these brands being in canada are even more expensive for Canadians....
Great improvement and bashing footages.
Thanks, Dirk!
Love the slow mo shots. The suspension looked to work great
It handles really, really well! Thanks for the comment, Joe!
Looking , like a good time to me. We all seem to be in the rain this time of year. We got wet here yesterday.
Rain, rain, and more rain. Great time to bash at the park! 😁

Woohooo the slow-mo are epic 😮 Superb bash session, not too crazy, well done, Fil 👍👏🤝
Thanks, Gabriel. Yeah, the truck isn't super fast, so it won't do any Kevin Talbot jumps. 🤣👊🏼

Rwd you steer with the ass. Give it throttle pumps to flip it round. Hell lot of fun to have an rwd rc
@@Vel_178 Thanks for the reply! mmm sounds still fun!
It would be interesting to see. I mean, technically, I could just remove the centre drive shaft, it would be super easy to do on the fly... 🤔

@@poorboysrc For sure. But, it's part of the hobby.
Sweet Sesh! I can see it would be perfect for an entry user and with a little battery and brushless upgrade- fun for any user! Cheers
Yeah man, it's a great starter that can easily grow into a wild beast basher.
It looked great out there! Sorry it was raining but it did make it look cooler out there LOL!!
It did look pretty cool in the rain, right? I figure, if I can't do any speed runs, I might as well go bashing in the rain. 😁
"get your hair all wet" 😅
As a guy with the same haircut as you, i feel this 😅😅😅
