To those of you coming to Armageddon. Bring a Straw Hat or a Neck Gaiter and a ball cap. There is no shade at the Freedom Factory other than the concession stands and entrance area. It gets hot and that sun is brutal. See you there!

I'd love to get a couple Granite's for my kids, but I really want them to have the experience of building a kit (with my help of course). Anyone know where I can find any kit (unassembled - NOT RTR) for something like this? Looking for a 1/10 electric basher either brushless, or brushless-ready. Any advice would be awesome!
You're not cool until you put the Losi Ten platform battery holder setup in there. Velcro's a pain. ;) (In the 3S trucks and buggy platforms.)
Let's give it up to Cleetus McFarland! The best Automotive RUclipsr! If you haven't been to the Freedom Factory you are missing out. I go to all his events. Armageddon should be just as fun. They are some of the nicest guys. The whole Freedom Factor crew is very welcoming. What he has done with the place is incredible. See you all there! Bring a straw hat or a fishing Neck Gaiters or your neck and head will burn. There is no shade at the Freedom Factory and it gets hot!
I've seen his vids but we care about RC cars here!

There’s a comment about people going and being careful in the direct sunlight if you’re not used to it . They said there’s hardly any shade there except the concession stands . I’m in comsteuction . Them water activated neck wraps work for cooling me down but nothing better than a cold hose over the head amd iced drink to cool the core off 👍👍. Good luck
Your granite looks very much like a pro mt 4x4. The reason I bought the granite is so I don’t have to beat up on my awesome pro mt 4x4. Definitely one of my favorite trucks. I haven’t used the granite yet I just ordered it yesterday. 159$ for the brushed version. I have a brand New velineon system for it. Seems like a sturdy truck for the money from what I see on RUclips. And simple 3s power.

What are the rules to fly with lipo batteries in the luggage?
You have to bring them in your carry-on. You cannot check them. I tape the connectors to the side of the pack and put them in a LiPo bag that say “LiPo Safe Bag” on the outside. I’ve never had a problem.

Yup! I’ll be there! Hope your trip goes smooth. Just made it to my gate. No issues with the LiPo’s at the security checkpoint. Hopefully the Ogio bag with the cars makes it.

If your flying, do you take lipo's on board ?? Or buy new ones when u get to your destination??
You can't bring them. You need to order new ones to arrive at your room. Or ship yours somehow. I'd just Amazon new ones to your hotel room. To meet you at the front desk of the place.
@@PonkyKong You can fly with LiPos up to a 100wh in your carry on. Horizon has a website with details on the specifics of flying with them

I never liked Arma. I'm all for Traxxas products.
Traxxas is fine, just overpriced for what you get. But when it comes to large scale Traxxas is absolutely king. Much tougher

@gobblers1234 yeah I've got a Senton, Granite, and Vorteks. They're all awesome. Better than the Traxxas 3S stuff especially for the price.

Maxx Slash vs either Mojave the Mojaves blow it out of the water in every aspect.
Traxxas is cool, but everything they make needs to be 25% off price to even be worth looking at. If the prices were the same, Traxxas would win. But $200 more for a product that is BARELY better in any category... that's unacceptable
