Got the flip 5 and I felt the same way that it was a gimmick but after 3 weeks I won't go back it's so convenient to not have to open my phone or use the big display to check messages and it's just a fun experience
Is it good for a main phone?

I have the razr and omg the front display is amazing and the main screen when you flip it open is beautiful. I love it. Camera ain't great I will say some pics are nice and some are mediocre but I'm not big on pictures so it doesn't bother me much. Phone is fast too. Wish the sound was louder I will say that's my biggest gripe with it.
But can all these phone use the back camera if i wanna do live streaming and read the comments

Imo flip n2 beats the zflip 4 but the next oppo will beat the zflip5
I own the Flip 4 and before that Flip 2. On both of them, after a short time the screen protector comes off in the middle of the screen - where it folds. Almost a deal breaker as this is annoying when the screen is dark but less so when the screen is bright. Too bad for a phone this price. Other than that I am happy with both my Flips!
Doesn't Samsung provide a free replacement at least once? Motorola does

Why do you need a screen protector for a flip phone?
@@mikaelw4758 Because you need to open the phone to see the (main) screen, and then it can be scratched. It is only closed when it's in my pocket.
It's the norm to buy a screen protector for your phone after using the same one for quite a while....
but Samsung flip have block screen issue that's why my phone did not use it can't touch I use 9months only

The zflip 5 is the best so far cos samsung software is much fine tuned

I've got the Razr and the camera is actually fine. Yeah it's not top of the range, best camera but that's what U expect from flip phones but it's not that bad

@@rajanbgmiyt oh I've never used a flip 4. Could be cuz my previous phone was quite old, so don't really have a great comparison. My previous phone was the Samsung galaxy note 10 plus and the Motorola Razr camera is better than that phone. Although it's a more than 5 year old phone but yeah, it's fine for me. I'm no professional photographer and I think most people wouldn't notice a difference. It's all just cherry picking tbf. Buy a phone that has professional camera shots not a flip phone.

The cameras on all of them were garbage.My Iphone 13 mini tops them by length.Even my old Huawei P30 is much better.I like the Samsung flip 5,but I will not purchase it because of the junk camera.I wait for the flip 6 and see if it gives a big upgrade on the camera.
