    So Jake after you did your video on tv shows. I went through and read through one of my pilots. I realized that I mainly revealed allot of information about my characters rather than establishing wants needs for the end of the episode. Also I see this allot now in modern day tv episodes especially Disney. How can I fix this ? (I think it would make a great video)

    An outline is mandatory for me, then I proceed with the treatment which is mandatory for me, then comes the script 90-110 pages, time 2-3weeks. Done! I use Final Draft, a must for me... Great Video!

    Although some successful writers have written without an outline, it didn't work for me. But outlining isn't easy either. I've been working on a screenplay outline on and off for years. The logic holes just won't resolve. I fix something in one place, then that causes a problem in another place. Nightmare.
